My niece and my nephew live in Chile (You can see all my posts visiting them HERE). We see each other once a year- well, twice if we are lucky. This means that I love to make sure I'm bonding with them so they won't forget me until we see each other again. You would see me playing random games, and running around.
So here are 10 of my favorite AUNT moments from the past trip to Ecuador:
1. My nephew carrying a gift for my baby while saying "Any this is for your baby" I almost melted.
2. My niece learning how to do makeup- she is such a girly girl and loves to do everyone's makeup. She would also ask me to put red lipstick on her (which I wouldn't because my brother would kill me)
3. Borrowing my older brother's collective toys for a bit because my nephew couldn't understand how his uncle had toys but wouldn't play with them.
4. Apparently my niece loves gum so we would steal mints and gum from my mom's purse. She would find it hilarious to be all mischievous.
5. Seeing Gabe run around with both of them until they complained about starting to sweat haha.
6. I laughed a lot because my niece wouldn't understand how there was a baby in my belly. She kept saying to me that I look small. At the time I was 20 weeks pregnant.
7. Seeing my nephew play superheroes with my brother. They were dad-son goals! It makes me super excited to meet my baby boy.
8. Feeding the birds with my niece at this park. We were laughing SO hard. I'm terrified of birds but I was trying to look all strong for her.
9. Collecting seashells at the seashore so they could decorate their sandcastles!
10. My niece screaming while driving away saying "TE AMO DANI". She has a big personality so saying that was priceless. SO SWEET!

This day was one of my favorites. We went up the famous steps in "Las Peñas". This area is more than 400 years old it was the first neighborhood of Guayaquil. It has a colonial architectural flair and it was restored between 2002 and 2008. It was
Este fue uno de mis dÃas favoritos de este viaje. Subimos los famosos 400 escalones del Cerro de Santa Ana. Este barrio emblemático de la ciudad de Guayaquil fue uno de los primeros de la ciudad y tiene un estilo architectonico colonial muy lindo. Fue restaurado a principios del milenio y definitivamente es una parada que hay que hacer si visitas esta ciudad.
Oh my! These pictures are from a while back, from our first trip to Ecuador (photos of the second trip are coming soon!). I saved them because a friend was trying to publish them into a local magazine...but not sure what happened with that.

I'm Venezuelan but my dad and brother work in Ecuador so it's easier to meet there. This trip was my first time visiting this lovely country- all of these photos are from Guayaquil, which is a very hot and humid city (I feel it's even more hot and humid than Miami, and that's A LOT).
Ay Dios...estas fotos tienen ya un tiempito- pero no podÃa dejar de compartirlas. Son de nuestro primer viaje a Ecuador- en Navidad hicimos el segundo. Las tenÃa guardadas porque habÃa una publicación de allá interesada en publicarlas pero eso no terminó sucediendo.
Asà que finalmente las comporto con ustedes!
Como saben ( y para que no haya confusiones), soy venezolana pero tengo familia en Ecuador y últimamente es más fácil encontrarnos ahÃ. Guayaquil es una ciudad encantadora pero extremadamente caliente y húmeda, en eso se parece mucho a Miami.

When traveling, it's great to stay within theme so you can mix and match everything to double up your little bag wardrobe.
Considero que al viajar, en vez de planear cada outfit, busca un tema y que todas las piezas vayan con ese tema y colores para que le puedas sacar todo el provecho posible.
