Mystique Forever Confidence…with Caress

I’ve realized that if there is one beauty essential that brings out my inner confidence it’s a fine fragrance. There’s something magical about knowing you smell amazing…am I right?

For me, showering is more than a daily routine…it’s a “me” moment- the moment where my day really starts…I don’t drink coffee, a morning shower is the only thing that wakes me up! So why not start the day feeling like I’m ready to take over the world with a fine fragrance body wash I know will last all day.  You can feel beautiful and confident as soon as you get out of the shower.

Con el pasar del tiempo me he dado cuenta que si hay UN esencial de belleza que me da demasiada confianza en mi misma es: una buena fragancia. Una siente algo com mágico al saber que tu  fragancia es deliciosa...¿o son ideas mías?

Para mi, la ducha es más que una rutina...es un momento para MI- el momento donde mi día realmente comienza. Y no tomo café, entonces una ducha en la mañana es lo único que me despierta. Así que por que no empezar el día sintiéndome mega lista para conquistar al mundo con un jabón líquido con fragancia que me va a durar todo el día. Una se puede sentir bella y segura desde el momento que te sales de la ducha.

When I started blogging, one of the first beauty reviews (maybe even the first official one) was for a Caress Body Wash (gals, this is 2010!!) . Since then, I stopped buying regular soap and I definitely prefer body washes. It’s more hygienic and lasts longer.  And well…I have to say it, Caress has not left my shower in 6 years.

Caress was the first body wash in the world to have the Fragrance Touch Technology- this means that the fragrance is released up to 12 hours after you shower whenever you touch your skin. YASS. The new line with the Fragrance Touch Technology is called Forever Collection- which includes 4 fragrances: Mystique Forever, Enchant Forever,  Love Forever, and Adore Forever.

Cuando empecé en el mundo de los blogs, la primera reseña de belleza que hice fue para Caress (chicas, estamos hablando del 2010!!). Desde esa reseña, dejé de usar jabones en barrita- los prefiero líquidos porque me parece que duran más y definitivamente soy más higiénicos.  Y bueno, tengo que admitirles que los jabones Caress no han dejado de estar en mi ducha (he probado tantos!!).

Esta marca  Caress fue la primera en tener una tecnología llamada "Fragrance Touch"- esto significa que la fragancia dura hasta 12 horas después de bañarte y se activa cada vez que tocas tu piel. Esta nueva línea se llama "Forever Collection" e incluye 4 fragancias: Mystique Forever, Enchant Forever, Love Forever, y Adore Forever.

I don’t know why I was instantly drawn to Mystique Forever- at first I think it was because of the purple (my favorite color since age 3)..but after trying out the four fragrances, it was still my favorite <3 Besides leaving my skin soft, the scent is amazing; it’s not overwhelmingly strong but you do not need to wear perfume…and in case you were wondering: it did last the whole day on me…and Gabe loved it! My only “complaint”: I keep wishing Caress would start selling body lotions too…where do we sign that petition?

Honestamente no se porque el que más me llamó la atención inmediatamente fue "Mystique Forever"- probablemente tiene algo que ver con el hecho de que mi color favorito desde que tengo uso de razón es el morado.  Pero probé las 4 fragancias y siguió siento mi favorito. Aparte de dejar mi piel suave y limpia, el aroma es increíble. No es MUY fuerte pero no es necesario usar perfume...y si les da curiosidad, yo si sentí que me duró todo el día. ¡¡Mi única queja es que Caress tiene que empezar una línea de cremas para el cuero!!

Beauty tip for those days you want to take the pampering to another level: Get in the tub…no scented candles needed, the scent of Mystique Forever will make you feel like you are at a spa. You can also add a little bit of sugar to the body wash and turn it into a body scrub. Depending on your skin type, you can exfoliate once a week.

Un tip de belleza para esos días que quieran consentirse a otro nivel. Metete en la ducha...no vas a necesitar velas porque la fragrancia de Mystique Forever te va a hacer sentir como si estuvieses en un spa. También puedes añadir un poquito de azúcar al jabón líquido y convertirlo en un exfolian casero. Dependiendo de tu tipo de piel, puedes exoliarte una vez a la semana.
