Miami has given us some of the most perfect "winter days"; clear skies and chilly weather (not really COLD, but yeah...cold for us). I wore this last week to an event at HabitArt at Coconut Groove; I'll show you pics of the event soon. At first I wasn't sure if I should wear tights underneath the skirt...because after all it is Miami. The outfit started around the skater skirt, I paired it with a cream sweater and then I added the leather jacket. For the shoes, I ended up taking the dust off my Litas...I haven't worn them in ages. Miami nos ha sorprendido con un par de días frescos; no quiero decir fríos porque en realidad no lo son....pero para todo aquellos que estamos acostumbrados a un clima tropical, ha estado helado. Esto lo utilicé el jueves pasado para un evento en HabitArt en Coconut Groove; luego les mostraré fotos del evento como tal. Ese día no estaba segura si agregar medias pantys abajo...pero luego me arrepentí, porque me dió un poco de frío. El outfit empezó con esta falda morada en A tipo skater, agregué un suéter cortito crema y una chaqueta de cuero....luego quería usar unas botitas y decidí desempolvar mis Litas. Quería comentarles que quiero regresar a hacer videos en Youtube, por fa dejen comentarios de que les gustaría ver. Me quiero enfocar en tutoriales de moda, belleza y ejercicio.

 I have been dressing a little more edgy than usual, Someone commented that it's not really my style- but I don't think so...I wore it, I like it and I felt comfortable...so it is me! It's okay to try new trends and styles as long as you feel yourself. This time I paired the shirt I codesigned with Furor Moda with some high waisted shorts and a camo jacket. The more I see and wear this shirt, the more I like it. I started blogging almost 5 years ago; and when I started I never imagined some of the amazing opportunities that have come down the road out of a "hobbie". When I started out, I didn't have a final goal... I just wanted to share my fashion view online. However, I slowly started realizing what I wanted... I started blogging my dreams. I get a lot of questions on how to start a blog, and just follow your dreams and blog about them! Be passionate, dedicated, and hardworking and everything will fall into place. Siento que ando experimentando un poquito al vestirme un poquito más "grunge" o "edgy" o como lo quieran llamar. Alguien comentó por ahí que no es mi estilo...pero no es así, me gusta, lo usé y me sentí cómoda...así que soy yo. Está bien intentar nuevas tendencias y estilos. Esta vez combiné la camisa que diseñe con Furor Moda con unos shorts altos y una chaqueta de camuflaje. Cada vez me gusta más el significado de esta camisa. Hace casi 5 años, cuando empecé a bloggear, jamás me imaginé lo increíble que iba a hacer el transcurso de este pequeño hobbie. We absolutely enjoy doing the his&hers posts- and because of your feedback, I think you guys like it too :). Gabo got this back while I was away in Venezuela; and I think he didn't notice I have just like one..so perfect opportunity for this kind of post. My jacket was a dark denim but we bleached it (I say we because Gabo did all the work mostly haha). For my look; I paired the jacket with these fun fringe shorts and a basic top. Gabo paired it with some classic dark jeans and a white V neck tee. Hope you like the pics! XOXO

Este estilo de post nos parece super divertido. Cuando estaba en Venezuela, Gabo se compró esta chaqueta de blue jeans- que de casualidad es muy similar a la mía. Por cierto, la mía era de un tono oscuro y lo aclaré con cloro...lo que le dió como un toque vintage. Los dos queríamos usar la chaqueta, así que decidimos hacer otros HIS & HERS. Para mi look quise utilizar unos shorts divertidos con flecos y un camisa sencilla blanca; Gabo también se fue por piezas básicas en el clóset de un hombre, jeans oscuros y una camisa en V blanca. Espero que les gusten las fotos. Un abrazo grandísimo.

Gabo and I have been wanting to do more editorial-ish pics for a while. I want to get out of my comfort zone, and he wants to experiment as a photographer too. It's always hard for me because I am not a model, I need to grow at least 6 inches overnight haha. Don't get me wrong, I love being petite...I just know my place. However, I stepped into my bada$$ alter-ego and I even wore this after the shoot...so it's actually a "what I wore". Let me know if you like these type of pics! Desde hace tiempo que había quedado con Gabo en hacer fotos un poquito más editoriales; especialmente para el, para que tenga fotos divertidas para su portafolio. No me había animado mucho porque no me considero modelo, me parece divertido modelar de vez en cuando pero primero que nada  estoy consciente que me faltan 20cm de altura. Igual me metí en mi alter-ego y utilicé este look para hacer un par de diligencias ayer. ¿Les gustaría ver fotos un poquito más editoriales de vez en cuando?  I haven't done a "celebrity inspired/look for less" in a while (check all out by clicking here). Lately, I'm drawn to edgier looks with a carefree attitude...and I think those two words really represent Cara's style. I saw this look and I immediately wanted to recreate it. I had all the pieces and I feel most of the items are must-haves in your closet (the jeans, booties, white top, and the leather jacket). The final touch is the red beanie (which is actually  what transforms this look). Let's compare price tags: just Cara's leather jacket is over $3 thousand (from Burberry); while my total look is around $225. I wore this a couple of days ago while enjoying some nice weather in Miami. What do you think of this look? Would you wear it?

Tenía mucho tiempo sin hacer un look inspirado en una celebridad (puedes ver todos los que he hecho, haciendo click ACA).  Ultimamente los looks que más me inspiran son aquellos que tienen un poco de actitud...de esa tipo "no me importa nada", y creo que Cara representa totalmente este estilo. Vi este look de ella y lo quise copiar inmediatamente; especialmente porque tiene piezas muy básicas que muchas tenemos en el closet (al menos los jeans, los botines, la camisa blanca y la chaqueta de cuero son piezas claves en nuestro guardarropa). El toque extra de este outfit es definitivamente el sombrerito rojo, sin este el look sería MUY básico. Si comparamos un poquito, la chaqueta de Cara es de Burberry y sobrepasa los 3 mil dólares; mientras que mi look en total cuesta alrededor de $225.  Aproveché usar este look hace unos días, que finalmente estaba algo frío en Miami. ¿Qué les parece este look de Cara? ¿Lo usarían?
