I know this look is very plain- there's isn't anything extremely trendy (well, I love the jacket!). It was one of my days off as a fashion blogger. My parents went to New York to visit me- and I couldn't be any happier. I haven't seen them since Christmas and it was also my dad's birthday. All we did was WALK and EAT- specially on this day. We walked like 30 blocks in Central Park and another 20 to Times Square. Then we headed to Little Italy to eat; and later, I had a reflexology massage in Chinatown (those massages HURT, I had no idea...but it was a cool experience). These Keds became my feet's best friend in New York...you have no idea how comfortable they are. Have an amazing day and enjoy the pics from Central Park!!

Este es un look super relajado- no tiene nada especial (bueno la chaqueta es hermosa- ya la vieron en este look más arregladito). Mis papás fueron a visitarme unos días en Nueva York, y no podía estar más contenta. No los veía desde Navidad y era el cumpleaños de mi papá. Paseamos muchísimo por Nueva York, especialmente este día que caminamos más de 30 cuadras en Central Park y de ahí unas 20 más hasta Times Square. De ahí seguimos hasta Little Italy para ir a comer...y ya estabamos agotados!  Así que terminamos el día con un masaje en Chinatown. Estos Keds de lunares fueron mis mejores amigos en NYC, son los zapatos más cómodos que tengo. Espero que disfruten las fotos de Central park. Un abrazo inmensísimo!

I feel home...and I think it shows!! I still have a couple of looks from New York but I feel like the blog needed a little color after so many B&W/neutral outfits. As soon as I landed in Miami, I just wanted to wear fun/bright clothes.... so I ended up wearing this coral dress with a cool back detail, floral shoes, and a turquoise bag. I wore this to walk around Midtown with Gabo and to run a couple of errands- I'm just trying to go back to normal. Hope you have a wonderful Friday and weekend!!!

Ya me siento en casa... ¡y creo que se nota! Todavía tengo un par de looks de Nueva York pero siento que el blog necesitaba un poco de color después de tantas combinaciones monótonas. Apenas llegué a Miami, quise usar este vestidito coral con una cartera turquesa y zapatos floreados. El vestido es originalmente ancho pero me gusta marcar mi cintura por mi tipo de cuero... y me encanta el detalle que tiene en la espalda. Esto lo utilicé para pasar un rato por Midtown con Gabo y hacer una que otra de las  miles de diligencias que tengo que hacer para que todo vuelva a la normalidad poco a poco. ¡Espero que disfruten el viernes y fin de semana! Since I got to NYC, a couple of people told me about a place called "Taka Taka" (with a tagline of "mexican sushi, and japanese tacos). Since Gabo and I are obsessed with sushi since we started dating 6 years ago, eating there was a must. I'm not going to lie, it was a little expensive for the amount of food...but it was delicious. We ordered some rolls with mexicano touches (like avocado and a spicy/chili sauce), and some tacos with teriyaki fish. Then we headed to walk around the city..right in front of the building I was staying, there was the cutest big dog I've ever seen (it was so fluffy and huggable!!) I only have a couple of B&W outfits left...no worry my colorful Miami self is almost here. Have an amazing day! XOXO

Desde que llegué a Nueva York, varias personas me recomendaron un sitio llamado "Taka Taka" (lo mejor es la frase debajo que explica exactamente lo que es: sushi mexicano, o tacos japoneses). Y ya que Gabo y yo somos fanáticos del sushi, ese fue nuestro destino uno de los días que el estuvo visitándome. No les voy a mentir, el sitio es algo caro para la cantidad que trae...pero es riquísimos. Decidimos pedir un roll de sushi mexicano y los tacos con pescado teriyaki. Después estuvimos paseando... y en frente del edificio donde me estuve quedando estaba el perrito grande más hermosos y abrazable que he visto (fotito de mi instagram debajo). Ya quedan poquiticos outfits de Nueva York... así que pronto salioms de la vida B&W y de vuelta al color. Abrazos inmensos!!

This is not the first time I do a remix with white jeans( click here to see the 1st remix)... however, those ripped. After that, I couldn't find the perfect pair.... until I found these at Collide Boutique for $40. I absolutely love the fit..and of course, they are extremely versatile. White jeans are a must during the spring and summer months.

Esta no es la primera vez que hago un remix con pantalones blancos (haz click AQUI para ver el anterior)...pero aquellos se me rompieron. Estuve muchísimo tiempo buscando unos jeans blancos que me encantaran... y estos me gustan mucho más que los que tenía antes. Estos todavía están a la venta en Collide Boutique por $40. Los jeans blancos son de esas piezas que no pueden faltar en nuestro closet- ya que van con TODO...especialmente en los meses de primavera/verano.

Este fue un video que hice como parte del Seventeen Style Council y quise traducirlo y compartirlo con ustedes. El reto era hacer un outfit de verano que costase menos de $50- y creo que lo logré...menos los zapatos (aunque me sobraron 5 dólares que servirían para encontrar unas sandalias sencillas). Este es como mi uniforme en los días calurosos y espero que les guste el video. Me han pedido que haga más videos y si les gusta la idea de pequeños videos de moda... a mi me encantaría seguir haciéndolos. Un abrazo grandotote!! April might be known for its "April showers"- but the weather in New York during April was actually gorgeous...very sunny and relatively warm. However, this day was the exception...so why not take pictures with a cute red umbrella. The outfit is pretty simple...with pieces you have seen over and over since I arrived in NYC... and yes, it's black and white but I love how it looks with the red umbrella and the red lipstick. Abril es conocido como el mes de lluvia en lugares como Nueva York- pero tuve la suerte de disfrutar días extremadamente hermosos y soleados...pero este día fue una de las excepciones. Amaneció lloviendo y no paro de llover hasta la noche. Razón por la cual pensé en hacer un post de "lluvia" con mi paraguas rojo. El outfit es bastante sencillo: unos jeans blancos (que no fueron la mejor idea en un día de lluvia), una chaqueta+camisa negra, y zapatos de los mismos colores. Espero que les gusten las fotitos...es un post algo diferente con piezas extremadamente repetidas maja. Feliz día!!
