Hello everyone!
One of my many resolutions for 2015 is to FINALLY to more Youtube videos.
So, let’s start the year with a subtle smokey eye that works for many many occasions! You do not need to be a makeup expert to do this look, it’s so easy that I called it “Subtle smokey eyes for beginners”

STEP BY STEP:
- After you have applied your moisturizer, apply foundation to the 5 key points (cheeks, forehead, nose, and chin), and blend it in with a brush, or even your fingers. I’m usingNeutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup Broad Spectrum  in Natural Beige. I love this foundation because it not only has SPF 20 but it also has a blend of antioxidants to improve skin’s texture and tone.
- Since I’ll be using dark eyeshadows, I will apply concealer when I’m done with the eyes. So let’s move straight to the eyes: I’m going to be using Neutrogena Nourishing Long Wear Eye Shadow + Built-in Primer in "Soft Taupe" . I like that it comes with built in primer to prevent creasing and smudging for 12 hours. This palette comes with 4 neutral colors that can easily take your makeup look from day to night. o First,
-I like applying the lightest color in the palette on your eyelid to create a base and to make sure the other colors pop.
- Apply the first color on the palette (which is a light brown) in the outer corner of your eyelid. You can add depth to your eye by applying it on your crease. If you want a day look, you can stop here…add mascara, fill in your eyebrows and you are ready to go. Also, apply this color to your lower eyelid.
-Working with darker eyeshadows can be a little messy, so here is a trick to doing a less messy smokey eye. Using your pencil eyeliner, draw a line (it doesn’t have to be perfect, don’t worry) on your lash line and on your crease and blend it in with a flufly brush.
-Add the shimmery brown/gray in the middle of your eyelid to create dimension.
- Use the lightest color as a highlighter. Dab it in the inside corners of your eye and directly under your eyebrow.
- Using an angled brush and the medium brown shadow in the palette, fill in your eyebrows naturally. Do small strokes, like you are drawing little hairs. -
 Clean off any excess makeup under your eyes and apply your concealer. I’m using Neutrogena Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector Broad Spectrum SPF 25 , it is my ultimately favorite; it de-puffs and treats the appearance of dark under eye circles.
-Add two coats of mascara.
- Using this bronzer/blush due, give your face a little definition by applying it beneth cheeckbones, along the sides of your nose, on your hairline, and jawline -
 - Since the focus of this look is the eyes, apply a light lipstick. I’m usingNeutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick. My lips are very dry; so this one is perfect since it gives a little bit of color while moisturizing my lips -
 Finally… stay shine-free all night by using Neutrogena Shine Control Powder.

Una de mis metas para el 2015 es hacer más vídeos en Youtube. Llevo diciendo esto años pero supongo que publicar un video la primera semana del 2015 significa algo.
Empecemos con unos ojos ahumados - no es nada dramático, al contrario, es un look relativamente sutíl que puedes usar en muchas ocasiones. No necesitas ser una experta en maquillaje para hacer este look…es tan sencillo que lo llame "Ojos ahumados para principiantes".

PASO A PASO:
- Después de aplicar tu crema hidratante, agrega la base a los 5 puntos clave (mejillas, frente, nariz, y barbilla) y usando una brocha, una esponjita o tus dedos,  difúminala. Estoy utilizando la base "Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup Broad Spectrum" y me encanta porque tiene protector solar y antioxidantes que ayudan a mejorar el tono y textura de la piel.
- Como voy a utilizar sombras oscuras, aplicaré el corrector después de terminar de maquillar los ojos. Voy a utilizar la paleta de sombras " Neutrogena Nourishing Long Wear Eye Shadow + Built-in Primer en "Soft Taupe". Estas sombras vienen con el primer incluido por lo que el color dura alrededor de 12 horas. Esta paleta es imprescindible  en nuestro kit de maquillaje porque tiene 4 colores neutrales con los que puedes transformar tu look del día a la noche.
- Empecemos aplicando el tono más claro de la paleta en todo el párpado movil como color base y así asegurarnos que el resto de los colores sobresalgan.
- Luego voy a aplicar el color café claro en el pliegue del ojo. Si quieres un look para el día a día, puedes parar aquí en cuanto a sombras y estarás lista. También aplica este color en tu párpado inferior.
- Hacer ojos ahumados puede ser un desastre (sombra negra volando por todos lados); por eso quise enseñarles un truquito y una manera sencilla de ahumar el ojo …con tu delineador negro! Haz una rayita (no tiene que ser perfecta) en la línea de tus pestañas y en el pliegue del ojo; luego difumina con una brocha.
- Aplica  el tercer color de la paleta, que es como un marrón grisaseo con brillo en la mitad de tu párpado móvil para darle dimensión al ojo.
- Usando el color más claro, que usamos como base, aplícalo en tu lagrimal y justo debajo de la ceja.
- Usando una brochita en ángulo,  maquilla tus cejas con si estuvieses dibujando vellitos.
-Con una toallita desmaquillante, limpia todo el exceso de sombras que pudo haber caído debajo de tus ojos.  Ahora si, aplica el corrector (yo estoy utilizando en el video  Neutrogena Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector Broad Spectrum SPF 25. El cual es mi favorito desde hace años porque realmente ayuda con las ojeras ).
- Aplica el rímel/mascara.
- Dale un poco de definición a tu rostro, yo utilicé este duo de bronzer/rubor y lo apliqué en mis mejillas, a los lados de mi nariz, en la línea de la mandíbula y en la línea de cabello.
- Como hicimos unos ojos ahumados, es mejor no recargar el look y aplicar un labial color claro. Yo utilicé Neutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick; el cual me encanta porque hidrata mis labios mientras les da un toque de color.
- Finalmente, utilicé el polvo compacto traslucido Neutrogena Shine Control Powder para fijar el maquillaje y prevenir el brillo (sobre todo en la zona T).
