As you can see the pics are from last month, but I couldn't show you the collection yet. I also ended up rewearing that outfit today for the official launch party of my collection with Melao. The party took place at Blush Miami and it was so much fun. Soon, I'll share all the pics from the event...but I couldn't wait to share the look. I'm obsessed with this blazer + short...well, I designed them... I should be obsessed haha. Sorry for the multiple "nanysklozetparamelao" posts but I'm very proud of the work we did. Oh and yes, that day I was with Anabelle of Viva Luxury- I absolutely adore her...we had a great time taking pics together! Have an amazing weekend ! XOXO

Como pueden ver estas fotos son de hace un tiempo, pero este outfit lo volvà a utilizar hoy de la misma manera para el lanzamiento oficial de mi colección para Melao en Miami. La fiesta fue en las tiendas Blush de Miami- pronto comparto con ustedes las fotos del evento como tal...pero primero querÃa mostrarles el outfit porque estoy enamorada del set (como no voy a estarlo si lo diseñe yo jaja). Se que he estado publicando mucho de mi colección y espero que no les moleste, estoy extra orgullosa del trabajo en equipo que hice con Melao.. y espero que a ustedes también les haya gustado. También querÃa contarles que la colección va a estar a la venta en Venezuela el martes que viene...asà que pendientes. Y como pueden ver, este dÃa estaba con Anabelle de Viva Luxury- ella les juro que es lo máximo, no tienen idea como disfrutamos juntas ¡¡¡ Les mando un abrazo inmenso!!

Maybe you remember this look when I wore it to Hispanicize; I didn't want to publish a lot of pics of the full outfit because the collection with Melao wasn't out yet. As you can see, I'll be showcasing the collection's versatility. This time I wore the print blazer with the black skirt and the fuchsia top. The top has the coolest sheer panels check it out here.
I also wanted to remind you that the launch party of the collection is tomorrow (Saturday April 26th). I'll be at Blush Sunset from 12-2pm and at Blush Brickell from 3-5pm. See you there!!

Tal vez se acuerdan de este outfit cuando lo utilicé para Hispanicize; no quise publicar muchas fotos ni el look completo porque la colección con Melao no habÃa salido todavÃa. Poco a poco les voy a ir mostrando la versatilidad de las piezas. En esta ocasión les muestro como separé el set y utilicé la chaqueta con la falda negra y el top rosado. El top tiene unos paneles transparentes muy lindos que no se ven por la chaqueta, pero pueden verlo acá.
Una vez más les recuerdo del lanzamiento de la colección mañana (Sábado 26 de Abril); voy a estar en el Blush de Sunset de 12 a 2pm y en el Blush de Brickell de 3 a 5pm. Los veo ahÃ.

I was very impressed with the collection "SofÃa by SofÃa Vergara at Kmart. I'm glad SofÃa Vergara is representing different body types- all of the pieces are very flattering. Also, I
couldn’t believe the prices…I couldn’t find anything over $30.
First of
all, share this advice with your mom “Don’t believe that after you get to a certain age you cannot wear certain
pieces…it’s always how you wear”.

El DÃa de la Madre está a la vuelta de la esquina. Les cuento que desafortunadamente no tengo hermanas, pero desde hace mucho tiempo que mi mama y yo compartimos bastante ropa. Por eso, en el post del hoy les voy dar varias ideas de que le puedes regalar a tu mama- pero son cositas que puedes pedirle prestada.
Hoy me uno a Kmart Fashion en un post divertido donde les muestro como y tu mama pueden usar la misma pieza de ropa y que ambas se vean lindas y acordes a su edad. Les cuento que quedé muy impresionada con la colección de SofÃa Vergara en Kmart. Me gusta que ella le ha dado importancia al cuerpo latino y sus piezas son muy favorecedoras en diferentes tipos de cuerpo. Tampoco podÃa creer los precios, no habÃa nada que pasara los $30..
Antes de empezar, quiero que le recuerden a sus mamás que nunca deben limitarse por su edad, que no se trata de la pieza sino de como la utilizan.
I can't believe I completely forgot about these pictures from our trip to Puerto Rico last month. We were working like crazy doing the video for Sole Society and for my collection with Melao. However, there is always time for the beach when you are in PR.
This time I wore this gorgeous one-piece swimsuit with sheer details on the side from MALU DESIGNS. This swimsuit is part of their newest collection, they are based in South Florida and you have to check them out! I think one-piece swimsuits are a big trend for this summer...so let's forget about those tiny bikinis! I paired the swimsuit with my favorite panama hat and some fun sunglasses...and of course, tons of sunblock (always take care of your skin!!). Have an amazing day! XOXO

No puedo creer que se me habÃan olvidado por completo estas fotos de Puerto Rico el mes pasado. Aunque estuvimos a millón durante ese viaje grabando el video para Sole Society y para mi colección con Melao; nos escapamos varias veces para ir a la playa.
En esta ocasión utilicé este traje de baño completo de MALU DESIGNS; que me encanta...aparte tiene un detalle de transparecia a los lados. El traje de baño es de la nueva colección de esta increÃble marca basada en Florida, tienen que ver sus diseños. Definitivamente una gran tendencia esta temporada de Verano son los trajes de baños completos...asà que podemos darle un descanse a los bikinis chiquititos. Lo combiné con un sombrero y unos lentes de sol... y mucho protector solar para protegernos del sol! ¡¡Espero que estén disfrutando su martes, les mando un abrazo gigante!!

Hey everyone!!! I'm so excited about this! If you have been following my Instagram, you have probably seen some sneak peeks of this.
I designed a 10-piece capsule collection with an amazing venezuelan brand called Melao. For me, it was an honor to start as a designer with my own collection in collaboration with Melao; not only because its great quality but because of the fact that it is a venezuelan brand. I wanted the collection to reflect what I'm all about...versatility. Nany's Klozet x Melao can be worn with other Melao pieces, and with things you already have in your "klozet".
I will give you all full list where you can buy the collection; but I'm very proud to say that Blush Boutiques is selling most of the collection in all of its locations in Miami. To celebrate the collection, we are going to have a launch party at two Blush Boutique locations on Saturday April 26th, 2014.

¡Hola a todas! Estoy super emocionada de poder compartir esto. Si han estado siguiendo mi Instagram, probablemente ya has visto adelantos por aquà y por allá.
Tuve la increÃble oportunidad de diseñar una colección cápsula de 10 piezas con una marca venezolana increÃble llamada Melao. Para mi fue un honor que mi primer trabajo como diseñadora fuese con una marca venezolana. Siento que la colección refleja mucho lo que es el blog; todas las piezas son muy versátiles...puedes combinarlas entre si, con otras piezas Melao, y con piezas que ya tienes en tu klozet.
Pronto les daré una lista de todas las tiendas y páginas donde puedes conseguir la colección. Pero les cuento que las tiendas Blush en Miami van a estar vendiendo la mayorÃa de la colección. Por eso, vamos a celebrar con una fiesta el lanzamiento de la colección este sábado 26 de abril.

I've worn this skirt mainly with black and white, but I want to wear it with gray and beige. When I wore look #3, it was a little chilly in Miami so I paired it with an oversized sweater and some chunky heels. I also folded the skirt to it looks a little shorter. Then I took it with me to San Francisco and I wore it with a long-sleeved crop top (look #1). Recently, I wore it with the blog your dreams" top for the Hispanicize conference.

No estaba si hacer este remix porque todavÃa tengo varias ideas de como utilizar esta falda...pero en dado caso que lo hago, lo actualizo. Hace unos meses, no me hubiese atrevido a utilizar la tendencia de las faldas midi ...pero ahora me encanta. Según los expertos, las midi son son para las mujeres petite- pero yo creo otra prueba de que no hay que prestarle atención a los mitos y reglas de moda.
He utilizado esta falda principalmente con blanco y negro pero tengo ganas de utilizarla con alguna pieza gris o con beige. Hace unos meses estaba haciendo un poco de frÃo, asà que la utilicé con un suéter pesado y unos tacones/botines- como llevaba un suéter ancho, doble un poco la falda para que se viera mas corta. Luego la utilicé en San Francisco con un crop top manga larga; y finalmente la usé en la conferencia de Hispanicize con la camisa de "blog your dreams".
