Even though I complain like crazy in the summer because of the crazy humidity in Miami... I'm so happy I can wear clothes like this in January while the rest of the US is freezing. Since it was gorgeous outside, we decided to head to Miami Beach to walk around/eat/ and take pictures at this new park beside Lincoln Road. There's not much to say about this outfit- just a bright romper with neutral accessories - and I also added a fringe bag + feather earrings to make it more bohemian. After watching these pics, I realized I need to go to the beach, I've never been this pale! Have a GREAT weekend!

Por mucho que me quejo del clima de Miami en verano- poder usar ropa como esta todo el año.. es lo mejor. El día estaba lindísimo, y aprovechando que no tenía clases fuimos a Miami Beach a comer- y tomamos fotitos justo en un parque lindísimo al lado de  Lincoln Road. De verdad que no hay mucho que decir del outfit: un romper rosado neón y accesorios neutrales para que sobresalga- para darle un toque más bohemio, utilicé esta cartera de flecos y unos zarcillos/aretes de plumas. Después de ver estas fotos me di cuenta que necesito ir a la playa/tomar sol.. URGENTE, estoy muy blanca! FELIZ FIN DE SEMANA!

Desde hace unos meses quería tener una opción para que puedan "comprar" mi "klozet"- todo lo que van a ver aquí considero que está en excelentes condiciones y a buenos precios. Algún día espero tener mi propia boutique online, y esto es un pequeño paso para ver como funciona todo.

This was actually the 1st pictures we took in Miami after my holiday trip to Venezuela and Europe- my bf got upset because I kept complaining on the picture quality (if you look closely, the are not as sharp as the rest of the posts). After changing the lens many times, we realized something was wrong with his camera and he sent it to Canon so they can fix it. Reason why we have been taking them lately with my camera (which I LOVE and a lot people ask me what model it is- Canon Rebel T3i and I use the 50 mm 1.8F lens for those wondering :) ) Back to the outfit, I had been waiting for this bag for a couple of weeks and I was so excited when it got home that I couldn't wait to wear it- it's the perfect size/shape.. and I adore the sequins). This time I paired with simple pieces that equal a super glam outfit and I really like that it is a versatile look that you can wear to a lot of different occasions (like going out with your friends,  change the leather pants for black business pants and you are ready to work). I actually wore it to go out with my boyfriend and have sushi (it's like our thing, we are addicted to it). Les cuento que estas fueron las primeras fotos que tome en Miami después de mi viaje por Venezuela y Europa- mi novio se molestó conmigo porque no paraba de quejarme porque las fotos no estaban tan enfocadas como a mi me gustan. Intentamos varias veces, con diferentes lentes... hasta que nos dimos cuenta que no eran los lentes.. sino su cámara. Mientras que la mía estuvo funcionando de lo mejor en el viaje- me lo preguntan mucho, mi cámara es una Canon Rebel T3i y el lente que uso es el 50mm 1.8F. Bueno volviendo al outfit, había estado esperando esta cartera de Mimi Boutique por unas semanas... no es hermosa- es chiquita pero le cabe todo lo que necesitas, aparte que tiene un bolsillo en la parte de atrás en donde yo pongo el celular porque es comodísimo. La combiné con piezas sencillas pero glam para un look que puedes usar en muchísimas ocasiones (desde salir con tus amigas hasta para el trabajo). Yo lo utilicé para un almuerzo/cena con mi novio, como les dije fue el día después de llegar de Paris.. entonces queríamos ir a comer sushi juntos lo antes posible.  Gracias por pasar por aquí... no olvides dejar tu comentario- saben que soy todo oídos en cuanto a críticas constructivas: que cambiarían, como usarían x's pieza. Sincerely, I'm not a Kardashian freak- I do watch the show because I like Kourtney and Scott. However,  I think Monica Rose sometimes does an amazing job with Kim's outfits. I saved this outfit in my computer months ago since I had similar pieces to recreate it; but at that time, Miami was extremely HOT. Yesterday I was going through my files and I decided to wear it (oh and the weather was perfect outside for this!). I added all the prices so you can compare the items- Kim's complete look costs around $7,400, while mine is not over $300. I wasn't sure about how much my jacket and my boots cost because both were gifts (my dad got me the jacket for my birthday and Flor de Maria Fashion gifted the booties to me when she stayed with me in Miami)- I went through the brands website and pulled out the price of similar items. Sinceramente no soy fanática de Kim Kardashian- admito que veo el show por Kourtney y Scott pero considero que de vez en cuando se viste lindísimo. Hace muchísimo tiempo que guarde esta foto de Kim porque tenía piezas similares para recrear el look, pero el clima en ese momento Miami estaba extremadamente caluroso. Este fin de semana estuvo un poco mas frío, así que decidí usarlo. Abajo puse un apróximado de cuanto cuesta el look de Kim ($7400) y el mío no pasa los $300 en total. La chaqueta fue el regalo de cumpleaños de mi papá, así que no tengo idea cuanto costó- al igual que los zapatos, que me los regaló Flor de María Fashion cuando se quedó conmigo en Miami (lo que hice fue ver sus respectivas páginas de internet y poner el precio de piezas similares). Esto fue lo que usé para una reunión con un grupo de amigos en Miami- hoy es día feriado entonces aprovechamos el domingo! FELIZ SEMANA

I'm back in Miami- I arrived yesterday after a long 10hr flight. I'm really excited because classes just started and they look amazing. I also can't wait to take pics with the "official photographer" whom I didn't see for three weeks (and missed A LOT). These pictures are actually from the 1st day in Paris- we flew there from Budapest (reason why I wanted to wear something comfy for the flight). I hope you like the pics! XOXO


Hoy les escribo desde Miami- llegué ayer en la tarde después de unas largas diez horas de vuelo. Estoy súper emocionada porque ya las clases comenzaron y se ven súper interesantes. También no puedo esperar para tomar fotitos aquí, hace más de 3 semanas que "el fotógrafo" no me toma fotos. Aparte les tengo varias sorpresivas: quiero hacer más vídeos y rifas para el 2012!
