Sponsored by Stitch Fix
Fashion was this blog’s first love and I will always enjoy having fun with my style and different trends. But I got to be honest, shopping has gotten a bit harder with my little one.
And this is where Stitch Fix comes to the rescue!
Stitch Fix is a personalized styling service where you fill an extensive style profile when signing up; and an expert stylist will hand-select 5 items JUST for you- based on your body type, preferred fit, budget, lifestyle, etc.
When your items arrive; you get to try everything on at the comfort of your house, keep what you love, and send back the rest in a free pre-paid envelope.
There is a $20 fee to have your curated Fix- but it applies towards anything you keep. The best part is that it isn’t a subscription service; you can receive your Fix whenever you want (every month, or if a special vacation is coming up!).
My experience:
A few years ago, I had the amazing opportunity to travel to San Francisco and visit Stitch Fix HQ. The experience was absolutely amazing, seeing how everything works.
Fast forward a few years, and this styling service feels like a lifesaver when I need new pieces to refresh up my wardrobe. I know I know, I’m a fashion blogger and I love shopping for new trends- but just like a Chef goes to other restaurants- it’s nice to not have to worry and trust another expert opinion…and WOW, she nailed my fix.
I received 5 pieces: a Rebecca Minkoff floral dress (the one I’m wearing), these Sam Edelman pink sandals, white shorts, an off-the-shoulder floral top, and a red striped tee. It also came with styling little sheet showing 2 ways to wear each item. Everything fit just like I like, highlighting what I love! It’s super cool that they have petite, plus size, and maternity sizes in thousands of brands.
I have a feeling I’ll be wearing this dress A LOT. It shows off my curves and it’s such a fun print!
Would you try Stitch Fix?
You, me (a plus one), and the sea!
I already did a REMIX on this dress from WhoWhatWear x Target. I've been meaning to wear it over a swimsuit for SO LONG. I even took it with me to Miramar Beach but I forgot to style it. I loved how it looked with this half and half one-piece swimsuit and the head scarf for mixing prints.
Like I've mentioned, the scarf is from my friend Valentina at Silk by MVTrends. I wore it different ways during this trip and I've been thinking of doing a mini tutorial on ways to style it. Let me know what you girls think.
On our trip to Georgia, we were literally two blocks away from North Carolina. So we headed to the state line and found the most gorgeous scenery ...it looks straight out from a painting, right?
Lately I'm been drawn to wearing red and green...but in a not Holiday way. I like it especially when it is army green and burgundy; but this time I dared to do plaid...what do you guys think? Yes? No? I kinda liked it!
We are in Key West right now and I'm sorry it has taken me so long to update all the photos from Georgia (plus I still have a couple of more to share!!)...Hope you liked them!
_______
¡A mi me gustó bastante!
I always look for inspiration online...but the other day something kind of different happened. I was inspired by myself...sounds pretty weird, right?. Before the blog, I had outfits that I would wear several times (one time with family...other with friends). It was so easy...but fter the blog, everything changed. I stopped rewearing the EXACT outfit not only because I wanted to create new content but as a challenge. The other day, iI was looking at pictures from last fall and I saw a similar outfit...so I switched some pieces to make it feel new and fresh. I had camel oxfords and a camel handbag- and a black leather jacket instead. And this also proves my point that you don't have to copy and exact outfit from head to toe...I want you to feel inspired and play with what you already have and what works with your style and body type.
I'm also super excited because I'm going to be collaborating for a couple of months with Coach...and I'm in love with the pieces (starting with this jacket...that YES, it is an investment but I know it will last for decades and decades). I can't wait to show you more!
XOXO

During our trip to Palm Springs, we headed with the bride and her bridal party to "Salvation Mountain". This unique place is almost two hours away from Palm Springs...I don't think I have ever seen this place, I didn't know what to expect and it was INCREDIBLE!
As far as my witchy/extra boho look...well, there was something about knowing I was going to be at the desert that made me pack extra bohemian. I LOVE LOVE this dress and all its little details: the crochet on the stomach, the bare back, the lace panels on the legs, more crochet on the sleeves...so pretty <3
Hope you like the pics!! Love you all!
______
Last year I had a fun pink ombré- which I LOVED. However, my wedding approached faster than I expected and I wanted to have my natural hair color for a timeless feel in the pictures. This year, at the beginning of the summer, I went back to my hair stylist to go way lighter… the goal: start playing with fun colors!
When I had my pink ombré, it would only last around 4 washes- which made those long hours at the salon extremely boring and useless. So this time I decided to do it myself. I headed to Sally Beauty and I got the Ion Color Brilliance Semi-Permanent Brights Color Collection. You can see my step-by-step on how to get this color at home on the Sally Beauty Blog where I was a guest-writer this week... check it out!!
I feel like I got more rebellious after I got married...tattoos, crazy colored hair...well, I love it! Let me know in the comments if you like it. What color should I try next?
_________
¡BESOS!
These pictures are from last month from our trip to Vegas...I wanted to spread them out because I wear these booties and hat nonstop (well, even more than the usual!).
The Grand Canyon trip was a DREAM. It was on my dad's bucket list (on ours too of course, but he was extra pushy that we HAD to do it on this trip because he was "done" with Las Vegas) He wanted to take an helicopter and fly through the Canyon. Even though I'm terrified of flying...I said YES! I didn't even hesitate once. It was my first time on an helicopter...and because of weight distribution they put me in the front with the pilot. Everything was great until he dipped into the Canyon...the helicopter has a clear thing on the front (you can see it on the photo) and I almost died...such an adrenaline rush!
We landed on the bottom on the Canyon and then took a boat around...hence the lifesavers in some pictures below! I really recommend this tour if you go to the Grand Canyon for a day..you get to see it walking, on a boat, and flying!
Hope you like the pictures and you can shop the look below if you like it! XOXO

BESOS!

Hello Hello!! First of all, so sorry about the overwearing of the shirt…but can you blame me? It's so pretty! You previously saw it with white shorts in Tennessee, now with leather bottoms and you will see it soon with a suede camel skirt. We took this pictures in the middle of nowhere in the Arizona desert while heading to the Grand Canyon in our small road trip. Since it's a Sunday…here are the random 5 things I promised to write every week!
1. In case you have seen another puppy in my snap chat, her name is Mia and we are petsitting her. Her owner? Gaby's little sister!
2. This week I went straight from Las Vegas to New York…I can finally tell you a little bit about the project: it's with Rebecca Minkoff and Saks…and two amazing blogger I truly admire, Blair from Atlantic Pacific and Wendy's Lookbook.
3. I'm a little sick from all the traveling, but **positive mindset* I will be like a new person tomorrow.
4. This weekend I was supposed to see "Inside out" with some friends…I think I'm going tomorrow. Have you girls watched it? I've heard it's amazing.
5. If you have been eyeing anything from my "klozet", I'm going to upload tons of items soon to my poshmark( just in case, my username is the same, @nanysklozet). Don't miss it!!
XOXO

¡Hola Hola!!
¡BESOS!
Here comes another 5 random thing Sunday!
1. Since I was little I have been fascinated over everything ghost-related. When I was little I would love horror stories and as a tween I started understanding that I felt the presence of something…it never freaked me out and I'm actually bummed that it's something that I suppressed instead of developing it. Last night we went out to a housewarming party. a friend just moved to a 1920s house and we were kidding about it is obviously haunted. When we were leaving around 1 am I looked up the stairs and I definitely felt something ( and everyone got chills down their spine). Gaby joking tried taking a picture and the camera kept trying to focus on something in the dark (the camera has a good face recognition feature!). crazy!!
2 This week i got one of the most exciting emails I've ever gotten.. an opportunity to work with a brand I love and it's really a dream! I cannot say much yet and it doesn't make sense that I'm using one of my random things for this because I can really say much but I'm just so excited and it feels like a mother opportunity to thank you for always supporting my blog!
3. Gaby got another tattoo.. I tried talking him out of it, or maybe try to make him really sure about…but he was and he is happy, which is all that matters. We really need to stop judging people for something as stupid as a drawing in our bodies… we are so much more than that- what you do in life is what really matters.
4. I ave mentioned before that the kitchen is not m department, when I was 15 I tried cooking something for my then-boyfriend… and he spent like 2 days in the bathroom, so I stopped trying aha. But lately, maybe it's the "wife" thing, I have been trying new recipes. Yesterday I made sweet potato pancakes with Chia and cinnamon and it was delicious!!
5. Another exciting thing happened this week… I won an LATAM award for "top influencer!' I really was expecting it and I'm so grateful for that recognition!
This is it! Hope you liked the look and share at least one random thing (or even a ghost story if you are as crazy as I am haha) XOXO.

¡Hola!!
¡BESOS!
Miami is a relatively new city…why sucks in a way, nothing like that gorgeous Europe architecture! But from time to time we find little places with some history; this building was built in the 30s in the middle of a main street of Miami called Biscayne Blvd. It was part of a 4 building set in each corner of an intersection but only two exist nowadays. I love the vintage feeling, Art Deco-ish, and I liked how it looked with my bohemian look. I know some bloggers that plan their look with a location in mind; I just wear what I feel and then drive around trying to find something that matches. I paired this flowy dress with my favorite hat and some gladiator sandals. Talking about gladiator sandals, I was supposed to do a Remix last Wednesday with them….but I wanted to wear them again. So stay tuned for 10 ways I've worn this sandals! Have an amazing day and thanks for visiting the blog! XOXO

I'm more of a rompers than jumpsuits type of gal; I blame it on my shortness…they are always so long on me (I think I really need to learn how to hem properly!). I absolutely fell in love in love with this one…so I put my highest heels on, and it worked ((plus I'm not complaining…my legs look extra long haha)). I wore this on Friday to go out with a couple of friends; Gaby's bff and best man was in town from Boston so we took him out to one of our favorite sushi places. I live right by where the Ultra craziness happens…and while people were wearing tiny little neon outfits, I had something on that belonged more in Coachella than in Ultra. Wishing you a fantastic and productive week! XOXO
______
L@S adoro!
I discovered the Victoria's Secret PINK bralettes two years ago and I haven't stopped wearing ( I have several colores…I honestly LOVE THEM). Now they also come with push-up support; the padding offers great shape and lift while being very comfortable. The VICTORIA'S SECRET PINK Push-up bralette is definitely a must-have for the Spring wardrobe…plus all the bright colors are great for this season. I also think the bralette is the perfect layering item; you can wear it by its own like a crop top or underneath a light tank (just add your favorite high waisted denim shorts and you are ready for a Spring party). I went a bohemian vibe with the wide brim hat and the kimono ( I really liked how the blue eyelash lace looked with the print of the kimono!). Are you ready for SPRING!!!? I know I am!! XOXO
________
BESOS!!
WHAT I'M WEARING/ ESTOY USANDO:

LEVIS white shorts
KEDS red shoes
MARC BY MARC JACOBS handbag
H&M wide brim hat
Accessories: Coordinates Bracelets, Michael Kors & Michele Watches
Here's another look from Puerto Rico. I was planning on saving it for later - I don't really like posting too many swimsuit shoots.
This is not the first time I use an "all black look" at the beach; I know beach/pool is generally associated with brighter colors but I like the juxtaposition of it. I didn't plan this look at all when packing (I think I have mention that because of the blog, I like planning daily looks and I even take pictures of the layouts on the floor). I took this dress because I wanted to wear it with a gold blazer for New Years Eve ; but the humidity was crazy that day and wearing a blazer didn't feel appropriate. I took the bathing suit- which I was supposed to wear during our wedding weekend BUT I forgot it (I was trying it on when packing and I left it in the bathroom). When getting ready in PR, I realized the backless dress and the swimsuit go AMAZINGLY together…the detail on the back of the swimsuit looks like it's part of the dress and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
Hope you are having a fantastic weekend! XOXO
______
¡BESOS GRANDISIMOS! FELIZ FIN DE SEMANA!
