I feel like I haven't done a "Celebrity inspired- look for less" in a while- this time I chose Kristin Cavallari wearing a pleated leather skirt. I looked for this type of skirt for so long, I know H&M has one but the closest store is almost two hours away. So finally found one at a reasonable price at Storets, the shipping was free and I swear it arrived in just one day (considering it came from the UK). My complete look, head-to-toes costs under $150- details below- while just Kristin's skirt is over $400 (and that's not even looking at her $3,500 Chanel bag). I have so many outfits planned for this skirt, I know I'm going to be wearing it A LOT! I hope you liked the outfit! HAPPY FRIDAY and enjoy your weekend! XOXO
ps: do you use lookbook? I'm about to reach 10,000 fans!! SO excited! Follow me HERE
I also have a hair tutorial for this type of braid, it's in Spanish but in case you want to check it out... click here.
Sigueme AQUI.

Lately, my outfits have been super girly- a lot of chiffon, pastel colors, lace, skirts, and dresses. Reason why I decided to changed it up a little and explore my rocker side. I love these studded shorts- they are vintage but the studs give them a modern touch (If you like doing DIY, this is an awesome project!). Since I was in rocker mode, I decided to pair the shorts with a "leather" jacket and my Jeffreys. After finishing my part of a school project, we headed to Key Biscayne; since you can bring your dogs to the beach there. It was gorgeous outside, I added a couple of pics from the breathtaking pics! Have a great Sunday! XOXO

He visto unos en google espectaculares). Feliz domingo!!
This week I realized that I haven't done a "celebrity inspired" look in a while. Looking for celebrity looks, the first webpage I checked was Kourtney's blog- I really love her style and I like that she posts looks and where the items are from. As soon as I saw her with cargo pants and a button up shirt, I found my look. But then I realized that Scott's outfit was very casual and easy to copy- so I asked my boyfriend.. do you have a gray polo and black pants? Reason why today's celebrity inspired look is "double"- and as you can se, Gabo took it very seriously and put his hands like Scott's and everything haha. My complete outfit costs around $150 (details at the end of the post)- while Kourtney's bag+shoes exceeds $5,000! (and that's not even considering the D&G top). I know Kourtney's shoes are snakeskin while mine are leopard, and I'm not wearing any sunglasses- but the whole point is to also give it your own twist to it! After having so much fun with the timer, we had a late lunch with my mom- and then I headed to the mall with her and I gave her a makeover. It was for my styling class but I'm sure she enjoyed it, and she ended up look amazing! I hope you are enjoying your Sunday! XOXO

Even though I have a couple of pics to post from this week- I couldn't wait and I really wanted to show you the pics from my bday party yesterday. As I told you previously, I love themed parties- specially on my bday because people are more prone to get dress up. Also, I love the 80s; I was born in 1988 so I don't remember absolutely anything from that decade- but I love the tackiness of the time; the big hair, colorful makeup, over-the-top clothing. About 90% of my friends dressed up, and it was so cool to see a lot of characters from the 80s: the Madonna, the Miami Vice duo, the Jane Fonda crew with their exercise gear, a rapper, etc. I had so much fun and I hope you enjoy the pics below! About my outfit: the past two weeks were so hectic that I wasn't able to get my "costume" until the day of the party. I went to my favorite thrift store and found this amazing (never worn) jacket for $30- it's gorgeous, and so heavy because of the sequins. And I also found these pointed shoes (very 80s) for $3 and they were in perfect condition! Finally, I added some clip ons from that time (originally my mom's) and a tight dress from forever 21 that I got years ago. Did you like it? XOXO

A couple of weeks ago, I got an email from the PR company from Wrigley (think Skittles, Starburst, Lifesavers, Orbit gum, Altoids, and more). And they challenge me to create a look or a fashion tip inspired by these candy- my sweet tooth was so excited about the box filled with candy (and I loved the idea of getting inspired by candy- I believe inspiration is EVERYWHERE)! When I opened it, the first thing that got my attention were the new lifesavers- they are two different flavors and colors. I was inspired to try a different color-block combo (turquoise and yellow). But here's the best part... they also offered me a Rebecca Minkoff bag (valued at $295) - but I decided to give it away to my amazing readers because I never find the words to say how thankful I am for all the love and support. The giveaway will be up in a couple of hours! XOXO

I got this sequined top a couple of months ago at a thrift store for just $7!!- I've been dying to wear this outfit for a while- I even took it to Venezuela in June. I like how the cargo pants make the shirt more casual and wearable for the everyday. Since I wanted to make the top the center of the outfit, I kept the accessories very simple. I wore this on Friday to go to a friend's bday. What would you wear with this top? I hope you are having an amazing weekend! XOXO
Since I started school, Fridays seem extremely long: I have class in the early morning so as soon as I get home, I go back to sleep for a while. Making me super lazy the whole day and I end up getting dress very late (at least the sun is going down around 8-9, so I have time). We were planning on going to the movies with some friends, but this was the second fail attempt this week- I guess the movie theaters are so full because of the summer vacation. We headed to an arabian restaurant that turns into a bar at night- and they also have hookahs. About my outfit: a couple of days ago I saw Olivia Palermo wearing these colors and I loved the unusual combination so I wanted to try it. I've been wearing a side bride a lot lately, it's easy to do and perfect for this heat and humidity. I hope you liked it and thank you so much for your sweet comments!

This outfit is part of this week's challenge: "Color-block with contrasting colors". Read all the details HERE.
I'm so upset that I couldn't enter last week's challenge! I kept waiting but my blazer is not ready yet. I went to the tailor today and he said that it'll be ready next week- I'll post my primary colors outfit next week (hopefully!!). As you might know, I'm not home and I really have to work with what I brought. I decided to wear these contrasting colors, I love how they look together (even though, I felt a little like a watermelon!). My day is not over yet but I really wanted to share the outfit before it gets too late! I hope you liked it! Thank you so much for visiting the blog and thanks to everyone who participated this week! (Don't forget to add you link at the end of this post!!).

I went thrift store shopping last friday and, as I told you previously, I found the perfect green blazer (as you can see, it's not even oversized). I wanted to wear it as soon as it came out of the washer. I wanted to wear color block again- this time I paired it with a vintage bright blue shirt and white shorts. I took Mimi Boutique's advice and wore the bag with bright colors- it looks amazing too. My day started at the mall trying to find some jeans for my mom- sadly, I didn't find the exact model she wanted. Then I had dinner with my bf at a mediterranean restaurant and, since we were right beside the movie theater, we watched Pirates of the Caribbean (I know I know, it came out weeks ago). Did you watch it? I hope you are having a great Sunday! Thanks for visiting my blog! XOXO
I have to admit that there's something I don't like about this outfit even though I wore it yesterday. I feel like it looked better in the mirror than in pics. Well... I'm not going to lie, this is what I wore. I wanted to wear my new (but vintage) Dolce&Gabbana shoes (I bought them for $20!!).- since they are beige and black, I grabbed this pair of shorts, and my favorite bag. Then I saw, this vintage white shirt that I haven't worn ..... but It looks so white (maybe it was the flash, but I don't like how it looks here) I loved how my hair looks, it's SO long- it took me a while to get it styled. And I really liked my makeup too, I'm using a super light-barbie pink lipstick with just brown liquid eyeliner. About my day: I stayed in bed the whole afternoon, I needed it. After that we had dinner at a new sushi restaurant close to my house (it's called sushi sake). Then we tried to go to the movies but all of them were sold out. I wanted to see bridesmaids, I've heard it's very funny! Thanks for visiting my blog! It means the world to me!
I felt in love with Zara's SS11' collection as soon as I laid eyes on the pieces- but I hated the price. As I've said, I wouldn't paid $100+ for a bright pink blazer that won't be in style a lot of time. However, when I was at the thrift store, I decided to check out the blazers- I still can't believe that I found the perfect color- a little oversized but it still fits-- and it was just $4! I paired it with light blue jeans (they are from Forever 21, and I bought them about 3 years ago!), a pink watch, and a turquoise necklace. About my day: I woke up super late because of yesterday's get together at my house, I run a couple of errands, and had late lunch/dinner with my boyfriend. How's your weekend going? XOXO
Yesterday, I wanted to wear another thrift store shirt- I love the cut and the bright blue (I think it was around $3!). I paired it with a necklace from Pop of Chic (Isn't it beautiful!?) and a floral skirt. Finally I added the nude pumps and the gold bag. About my day: I worked in the morning, had lunch with the family and we ended going to this beautiful park Downtown. There were dogs running around (poor chiqui was on a leash because he's not that friendly with MALE dogs), people doing yoga, and jogging. I'm starting a "Cover Girl challenge", check out what it's all about below. Happy Tuesday! XOXO.
Feliz Martes!! Besos!
