Last month I was so excited I got to share my favorite Neutrogena on Glamour Magazine...but my excitement did not stop there because they came to Miami Swim Week for a media event and I was asked to host it! As a blogger, the most important thing is partnering with brands you truly love and believe in...and well, I have been using Neutrogena for as long as I can remember!

The event started with a bootcamp class by the beach with a small group of bloggers/media. It was VERY sunny, so our first stop was the Neutrogena Suncare Station; there was a variety of sunscreens to try. I went for the CoolDry Sport in Spray with SPF70- which is great because it is water and sweat resistant for up to 80 minutes. Honestly I was a little worry I was going to pass out during the class, but I can proudly say I did it without quitting!!

After that we headed to the Spa at the Soho Beach House to shower and get ready. We were impressed that they had everything you might need...from deodorant to hair tools. I quickly changed to my romper, you can also see the look and all details here. Without any makeup on, I headed to the brunch/makeup touch-ups part of the event where I literally had granola while getting ready with Elizabeth Ulloa, Neutrogena makeup artist.

For the face, Elizabeth used the Healthy Skin foundation in Natural Beige and the Healthy Skin Custom Glow blush and bronzer duo (which I've used since like 2010!). For the eyes, she used  the Nourishing Long Wear Eye Shadow + Built-in Primer in Soft Taupe. These eyeshadows are fantastic because they have the primer already included, so they last up to 12 hours without creasing or smudging (which is exactly what I needed because I had a long day of shows and events). After mascara and filling in my eyebrows, she just applied MoistureSmooth Color Stick..another favorite (okay I know I have many favorites, but again...Neutrogena has some great products!). I love these color sticks because they give you a little bit of color and a TON of hydration...my lips are very dry and these are great!

I invited all the amazing Miami bloggers and I was so happy so see so many familiar faces! I really had a blast...so much that I wasn't tweeting/snapchatting as much as I should have...but hey, life is what happens when we put our phone down. ¿Se acuerdan que el mes pasado les conté de mis productos favoritos de Neutrogena en la revista Glamour? Para celebrar la semana de la moda Swim, Glamour y Neutrogena planificaron un evento en Miami muy chevere en el cual me invitaron a ser la anfitriona....yo feliz de la vida porque como saben Neutrogena es una marca que llevo utilizando toda la vida y nada como trabajar con marcas que usas diariamente.

El evento empezó con una clase de bootcamp con un grupo pequeño de blogger. Como estábamos en pleno sol de Miami, la primera parada fue la estación de Neutrogena para aplicarnos protector solar. Yo personalmente me aplica el protector de la linea "CoolDry Sport" en spray SPF70- perfecto porque es resistente al sudor y al agua por 80 minutos. Yo estaba un poco preocupada que el bootcamp fuese muy fuerte..pero orgullosamente aguante hasta el final!

Después de ahí nos fuimos a bañarnos- quedamos bastante impresionadas porque el Spa del Soho Beach House tiene desde desodorante hasta secador y plancha...mi look completo con todos los detalles lo pueden ver en el post de ayer haciendo click por acá. Después fue el brunch..el cual era justo y necesario después de hacer ejercicio en la arena. Me estaba desmayando del hambre, así que comí mientras Elizabeth Ulloa, maquilladora de Neutrogena, se encargara de ponerme presentable para el resto del día.

Para la cara, Elizabeth utilizó la base Healthy Skin en Natural Beige y el Healthy Skin Custom Glow que tiene rubor y bronzer en uno (¡de mis favoritos!). Para los ojos, aplico las sombras Nourishing Long Wear Eye Shadow + Built-in Primer en el tono Soft Taupe. Estas sombras son excelentes porque tienen el primer incluido en la sombra y así te puede durar hasta 12 horas sin que se corra...aparte tiene vitaminas para mantener el area del ojo, que es tan delicada, hidratada. Y después del aplicar mascara y rellenar un poco mis cejas, aplicó el MoistureSmooth Color Stick...que es otro de mis favoritos (okay si  tengo muchos favoritos de Neutrogena!)...pero me gusta porque da un toque de color e hidrata los labios- los mios son extra secos por eso me encantan estos labiales.

Invité a muchas amigas bloggers y de verdad que estaba muy contenta de que tantas fueran a saludar y a retocarse el maquillaje. Me hubiese gustado haber tomado más fotos, o estar subiendo más Snapchats o tuiteando pero de verdad que cuando uno esta disfrutando el momento, no hay tiempo para las redes sociales.

If you ask me about my favorite swimwear designers, 6 SHORE ROAD definitely is in the top 3. There's something about the brand that I just feel so identified with...it's a little boho and edgy but still feminine. I've been attending their runway show for a couple of years now and I always want to take one each home. To honor the designer, I wore her floral romper to the show....everywhere I went, I got tons of compliments on it. I love how you can wear it to the beach with your bikini underneath and some sandals...and then add some heels and dark lipstick and be ready for a summer night. The best part is that you can wear it as a plunging halter if you dare! HAPPY FRIDAY!! XOXO

Si me preguntan de mis diseñadores favoritos de traje de baño, la marca 6 SHORE ROAD definitivamente está en el top 3. Es de esas marcas con las que simplemente me identifico... y llevo ya un par de años asistiendo a su pasarela y siempre quedo con ganas de llevarme todo. Para apoyar a Pooja, la diseñadora, utilicé su romper floreado para su presentación....y recibí muchos cumplidos a donde sea que iba. Este romper lo puedes usar para la playa con tu traje de baño abajo y unas sandalias, pero también puedes usarlo con unos mega tacones y te ves más "formal". Aparte que lo puedes usar cruzado como lo llevo yo, o hasta usarlo como halter regular y mostrar un mega escote (solo asegúrate de tener tape para que nada se mueva de lugar!). ¡Les deseo un mega feliz fin de semana!!!

Every year...around the 3rd week of July is Swim Week. This year was a little different because the main sponsor, IMG, decided to not be part of the main event...leaving everyone confused. Many people even cancelled their trips because they thought it wasn't happening or that it was going to be a mess...the second part was a little true, it was messier than previous years. The problem? Many shows were at the same time AND on different locations...which made it impossible to attend many things (specially when you add the Miami traffic into the equation). I personally attended few shows for many reasons...as many of you already know I'm shy and running around trying to attend 5 shows per hour is...well I'll leave that for the extroverted kind (nothing bad about it!). I just prefer to stay in one event and have actual conversations with bloggers that are now actual friends! I wore this the first day, I went to an event for Sol De Janeiro ( a super cool Brazilian brand that I will tell you more later), to the Wildfox presentation, and then to have dinner with Kelly Saks and Flor de Maria. We all had a blast together!

For my outfit, since it was so hot and all events are mostly outdoors, I went for light combos. This romper is from a Miami boutique called OHM...very cool and very bohemian. To dress it up I added some high heels, my baby Chanel, and a dark lipstick!

La tercera semana de Julio generalmente es la Semana de la Moda Swim en Miami. Este año fue un poco diferente porque el patrocinador principal, IMG, decidió no ser parte de las actividades de este año...dejando a muchas marcas a la deriva.  El problema: todo fue un poco más desorganizado de lo normal y muchos eventos eran a la misma hora que otros...causando que faltara mucha gente. Yo fui a muy poco shows por varias razones: 1. yo soy más tímida de lo que se imaginan, y ese corre corre es para gente extrovertida. 2. Prefiero compartir con bloggers- que ya son amigas, ir a comer, y pasarla bien en UN evento que intentar ir a 5 por hora.  Esto fue lo que utilicé el primer día para ir a un evento de Sol de Janeiro (una nueva marca de productos de belleza de Brasil que les va a encantar...pronto les contaré más), de ahí fuimos al show de Wildfox, y a cenar junto a Kelly Saks y Flor de Maria.

En cuanto al look, quise usar este romper de OHM BOUTIQUE, una boutique en Miami que tiene cosas hermosas...especialmente si te gusta el look relajado y un poco bohemio. Para hacer el romper más elegante lo combiné con unas sandalias altas, mi Chanel, y un labial oscuro.
