Fashion was this blog’s first love and I will always enjoy having fun with my style and different trends. But I got to be honest, shopping has gotten a bit harder with my little one.
And this is where Stitch Fix comes to the rescue!
Stitch Fix is a personalized styling service where you fill an extensive style profile when signing up; and an expert stylist will hand-select 5 items JUST for you- based on your body type, preferred fit, budget, lifestyle, etc.
When your items arrive; you get to try everything on at the comfort of your house, keep what you love, and send back the rest in a free pre-paid envelope.
There is a $20 fee to have your curated Fix- but it applies towards anything you keep. The best part is that it isn’t a subscription service; you can receive your Fix whenever you want (every month, or if a special vacation is coming up!).
My experience:
A few years ago, I had the amazing opportunity to travel to San Francisco and visit Stitch Fix HQ. The experience was absolutely amazing, seeing how everything works.
Fast forward a few years, and this styling service feels like a lifesaver when I need new pieces to refresh up my wardrobe. I know I know, I’m a fashion blogger and I love shopping for new trends- but just like a Chef goes to other restaurants- it’s nice to not have to worry and trust another expert opinion…and WOW, she nailed my fix.
I received 5 pieces: a Rebecca Minkoff floral dress (the one I’m wearing), these Sam Edelman pink sandals, white shorts, an off-the-shoulder floral top, and a red striped tee. It also came with styling little sheet showing 2 ways to wear each item. Everything fit just like I like, highlighting what I love! It’s super cool that they have petite, plus size, and maternity sizes in thousands of brands.
I have a feeling I’ll be wearing this dress A LOT. It shows off my curves and it’s such a fun print!
Would you try Stitch Fix?
I already told you ALL ABOUT MY BABY shower (Don't forget to check it out HERE). However, like I mentioned, there was a lot planning behind it. At least two trips to the Dollar Tree, two to Target, one to Walmart, Home Depot, the flower shop, etc.
This meant lots of walking, and for a pregnant lady, that means the comfiest shoes possible. Let's break it down piece by piece!
The dress is from Alice + Olivia; so easy to dress up and to dress down. You cannot go wrong with a denim jacket to dress down a floral dress. I got it during the store preview in a size bigger so I could wear it while the belly grew. I think I doesn't fit anymore but I can't wait to wear it after baby.
This denim jacket has been with me even before the blog. It used to be a dark denim wash but Gabe helped me bleached it. In my opinion, the lighter was is a bit more timeless! I think it's time for a Remix with it!! There are probably so many looks with it and since 2011. Would you still like to see it?
Hope you liked the look and the pics! This place is in North Biscayne, not sure what street but it should be around 60th. I've seen it on Instagram and I definitely wanted to shoot there. I'm not going to lie, it did need a lot of photoshoot because it needs to be re-painted! So don't be sad if you arrive there and it doesn't look that amazing, it's all about the angles and a lot of cleaning on an editing app.

OK, so I need to stop procrastinating and start posting photos because I already feel this was ages ago. We took these photos last month and I already feel my belly is twice the size (6.5 months vs 7.5 months NOW!).
I wore this to a few events in February. The first one was to a Victoria's Secret lunch celebrating the launch of their new perfume part of the Bombshell line. If you follow me on IG, you probably saw the stunning set-up and we all got beautiful denim jackets that said "HELLO BOMBSHELL" in the back. You all know I'm a sucker for denim jackets.
I was the first one there and basically the last-one to leave. I loved seeing all my blogger friends, especially in such a cute environment with delicious food.
Then I headed to my first baby event with Baby Dove. It was really interesting to hear from a pediatrician and start learning as much as I could.
This outfit was comfortable to wear all day, but still cute and put-together...plus perfect for SPRING!!!
Hope you have an amazing week ! XOXO
Jeans. We rely on them. We wear them on a weekly basis. We dress them up. We dress them down. They never leave our wardrobe…and we are not complaining!
I’m super excited to announce I’m going to be partnering with DENIZEN® from Levi’s® jeans as part of their Style Council for the rest of the year. I’m going to be showing you how to style jeans for every season and any occasion.
Today I’m going to show you 3 ways to style 3 pieces from the DENIZEN® jeans spring collection. I’ve been a fan of DENIZEN® jeans for a while. They’re available at Target in stores and online, and I love that they are fused with ESSENTIAL STRECH; meaning that they move with you, they don’t lose their shape, and they are so flattering! I’m going to be pairing them with some of my favorite trends and shapes for this season.
Let’s get started:
I live in Downtown Miami; I’m very close to popular areas like South Beach, Brickell, Midtown, and Wynwood. However, driving a couple of miles to end up 15 minutes trying to find nearby parking or having to pay $20+ for parking is not worth it. Reason why Uber takes me to the places I want or need to be; it’s my go-to when meeting my girlfriends for brunch, taking pictures, or heading to a blog-related event.
One of my favorite areas is Wynwood. I love everything it has to offer: food, fashion, culture, art, etc. So today I’m going to take you with me to this area and share my favorite boutiques, cafes, and places to take pictures.
If I’m not in a hurry and I’m riding alone (or with just Gabe), I request uberPOOL. This option lets you hit the road with other riders around you that are going your way too. Since you share the cost of the ride, everyone gets the best deal!

Ok I know, this shirt isn't the Guns and Roses tee, but it was definitely inspired by it.
I'm honestly loving dressing a little edgier. You all know that this is a style I've loved for years and years. I like playing around with boho and romantic styles..but this is when I feel the most me.
The past month has been about finding myself again, about making new goals, and starting over. Again, something happened that I will share soon. But sometimes life just puts things into perspective and maybe that's exactly what I needed.
I've been focusing a lot on the blog. I have not been updating it every day but I've done a few articles that are full content (5 looks in one article, a day to night, etc). Just bear with me...I'm almost ready to share my experience!
Again, love you all and thanks for your love!
Honestamente, me encanta vestirme medio edgy.
And this trend is making its appearance on the blog for the fourth time!! Like I mentioned before, I really love the texture it brings to a simple outfit like this one.
I got this tee at JCPenney for under $15 and I wanted to crop it. I'm really into rocker band tees lately. I got this jeans at Target, they are part of the Who What Wear collection and I love the little flare in the boot. Since this day was all about comfort, I added my favorite sneakers: the classic Adidas Originals!
But back to the fishnets. I think it's time to get fishnet socks. it's definitely getting too hot in Miami. I'm trying to find a pair, so I've been searching the web. I'm going to link to some pairs below in case you are looking to join this trend in the warmer months!
Hope you are having a great day! XOXO
¡BESOS!
This blog post was written as part of my collaboration with eBay Thanks for supporting the brands that keep Nany’s Klozet going.
There’s something about Spring and its warmer air that inspires us to start over- this blooming season leads us to makeovers of all kinds. Some people start renovation major projects in the backyard, and some people clean out their closet (especially to make space for fresher and newer things to come along, raise your hand shopaholics!). This is why I’m super excited to partner with eBay during its Spring Sale because you can find absolutely anything you need; from vacuum cleaners to home organization products, and everything in between. The eBay gift card is the perfect gift for absolutely anyone…especially those who are hard-to-shop-for people!
Four years ago, I moved to a 1 bedroom 1 tiny closet apartment in Miami with my then-fiance-now-husband. I’m not going to lie: as the little girl of the house, I was also used to having my own closet and space…then add up the “fashion blogger” factor. Over the years, I’ve learned some tips to maximize space, keep everything organized and achieve all your Spring Cleaning Goals.
1. Keep, Fix, Donate, Throw Away, and Sell.
Start by going through EVERYTHING in your closet and get ready to have 5 piles: (1) Keep (2) Fix (3) Donate (4) Throw Away and (5) Sell.
Ask yourself the following questions:
Have I worn it in the past year? Why haven’t I worn it? Is it damaged? Is it fixable? Does it still fit? Is it still on-trend?
If the items are in good condition but have no significant value, donate them. If you think you can get a little money, sell them! Forget about sentimental value; it doesn’t make sense to keep the dress you wore to prom 10 years ago. Remember keeping an item isn’t what keeps the memory alive.
2. Upgrade your closet with ultra thing anti-slip velvet hangers
I’ve been slowly transitioning to velvet hangers for many reasons. First of all, it gives a luxurious feel to your closet. Second, the ultra thin shape will let you put more items. FInally, the velvet helps clothes to not slip. During the eBay sale I got 50 hangers for under $20!! At this price, I might get a few more.
Also, try this fun trick to know if you have worn something in the past year. Put your hangers backwards every time you do a clean-out; when you wear it, put it back as it should be hung normally. At the end of the year you can clearly see what you haven't worn in a while.
3. Makeup needs Spring Cleaning too:
We tend to forget that make-up has an inspiration date…and sometimes it’s expires faster than we expect! For example: eyeliner lasts from 6 months to a year, while mascara lasts 3-6 months. On the other hand: lipstick, powder cosmetics (blush, eyeshadow, setting powder) can last up to two years. Also consider that all natural makeup expires faster.
If you are not sure how old a product is, smell it trust your senses. Wearing makeup that’s expired can cause breakouts and allergies.
Try keeping what you really love and use frequently. Clean it and get ready to store it!
4. Display and Keep Your Makeup Organized
After cleaning up your makeup bag, think about what you wear on a regular basis, what you wear on special occasions…and now it’s time to keep it organized! I absolutely love clear displays on my vanity.
For my brushes, mascara, and liners, I got this Curved Acryling Organizer (for only $12!). You all know I’m a lipstick lover, so I got this 24 Lipstick Makeup Holder! I’ll make sure to keep my favorite shades at reach- that way I don’t forget them and continue wearing them. Finally, I keep everything by type in the Storage Clear Case. On the top shelf, I like putting my every day products; while on the little drawers I put special occasion products.
5. Keep your season-clothes at reach
People ask me frequently how I keep organized my clothes when it comes to shooting. When get a new item or something I want to shoot, I don’t instantly put it in the closet (because it gets lost…I’m sure sometimes you find clothes with new tags hidden in the back of your closet). That’s why I like using a clothing rack. There I keep seasonal items, new items, and I organize the looks for the blog. PLUS it gives me extra storage.
My clothing rack recently broke after many years, so I decided to upgrade and I got a Collapsible Rack Hanger at ebay. The quality is amazing and I found it for $40, half the price I saw it in local stores!

A couple of weeks ago, I had an amazing opportunity to
travel to NYC to shoot a fun video with GUESS, Style Coalition, Luanna Perez,
Lo Bosworth, and Marianna Hewitt.
Everything was shot at the Beaumarchais, a French restaurant
known for its fantastic brunches. When I got there, the first thing I did was
try on a couple of GUESS dresses; there were so many beautiful and sexy dresses
that I wasn’t sure what I was going to end up wearing for the shoot. I went for
a floral maxi dress with a backless detail. I love the versatility of this
dress; I could wear it to the beach with sandals and a fedora, to brunch, and
even to go out with my friends at night by pairing it with some killer heels
like the fringe ones that I was wearing. Fringe is one of the biggest trends
for Spring; so if you are looking to add it into your wardrobe, these heels are
the perfect and subtle way to do so.
In Miami, it already feels like Summer; but Spring in NYC is
a little chillier than what I am used to which is why I also added a leather
jacket into the mix. This GUESS jacket
is also cropped; perfect for petite figures like mine. I always say that a
leather jacket is a must-have. I loved this one so much that I wore it right
after the shoot with jeans and a tee to go to the airport. The final touches: a
timeless black bag and a pop of color with this GUESS orange watch.
The girls (and the whole team) were so sweet; it was an
honor shooting with women I’ve been following for a while. I hope you all like
the pictures and video **below** <3 <3 XOXO <3 <3
_______
BESOS.
