A lot of people have been asking me to do more "fall" outfits... and this is definitely as far as I can go for now. I feel like this look has like levels; if it's still too hot, wear it without the jacket and with sandals, if it's a little chilly/windy (or you just spend way too much time indoors with A/C like me) you can add the jacket and boots... and if it's already too cold, add tights and a scarf!! I always wanted to wear combat boots with a softer piece like this dress, but I felt like I wasn't ME at all- so here's my advice: if you like something, try it... never be afraid to try something different. Muchas me han estado pidiendo que empiece a vestirme más otoñal....y esto es lo más que puedo hacer por los momentos.  Este look tiene varios "niveles": si está haciendo calor puedes usarlo sin la chaqueta y con sandalias, si esta con viento (o en mi caso pasas mucho tiempo en aire acondicionado) puedes agregar la chaqueta y los zapatos, y si ya hace algo de frio puedes agregarle unas medias panty y una bufanda! Siempre quise usar este tipo de botas con piezas un poquito más femeninas pero sentía que no era mi estilo- así que les doy un consejo: nunca dejen de usar algo que les guste porque no va con ustedes, es divertido intentar algo que crees que no es "TU". También quiero invitarlas a que chequeen la nueva tienda online de Pink&Pepper, de donde son estas botas... si eres como yo de fanática con los zapatos, te va a encantar. FELIZ VIERNES! ¡besos!!

On Thursday I wanted to wear something extremely comfortable- so I went for this gorgeous dress, that I seriously don't want to stop wearing. It is made of rayon and spandex so it's falls beautifully. Like I said, I just wanted to be comfy... I just realized I wasn't wearing any jewelry- but to make the look pop a little bit more, I added the panama hat and the red lips (it's such an amazing color that I'm totally recommend it: Covergirl LipPerfection in 305 HOT). I wore this during the day around Downtown and later that day I picked up one of my best friends from Venezuela and we had dinner!  I hope you have an amazing Sunday! XOXO

El jueves quería llevar totalmente despreocupado; así que opté por este vestido, que no me he querido ni quitar de lo cómodo que es, es de seda artificial con un poco de spandex - lo que lo hace pesado y cae lindísimo. Como les dije, quería estar cómoda y ni accesorios quise llevar; apenas el sombrero, los lentes, y mi pintura de labios roja favorita (por si preguntan: es Covergirl LipPerfection en 305).  Esto lo usé durante el día para estar paseando por Downtown y en la noche fui a buscar a una de mis mejores amigas que estaba de visita en Miami y fuimos a comer!  Espero que tengan un bonito domingo!!!

PD: Una nota especial a tod@s l@s venezolan@s: no quise hablar de las elecciones porque hablar de política fue uno de los temas que prometí nunca hablar aquí pero siento la necesidad de hacer un pequeño paréntesis. Lamentablemente tuve problemas al inscribirme para votar en Miami, lo que me dejó con muchas ganas de acompañar al gentío que está en New Orleans. He leído comentarios tan duros como "no eres venezolano si no votas" o "ni te mereces pisar Venezuela otra vez si no votas y vives afuera"- que me daba miedo como me fuesen a juzgar aquí. Pero yo no me quedé con los brazos cruzados, quería ir a New Orleans de apoyo pero en vez de quitarle un puesto en el autobús a un venezolano que pudiese votar, doné todo el dinero que hubiese gastado en el viaje para que varios ocuparan mi puesto, viajaran gratis y dieran su importante voto. Pero no quiero dar excusas....me encantaría verlas votar y me encantaría celebrar con ustedes en el post que escribiré mañana en la noche. Así que ya saben.. A VOTAR :)
