Ahhhh today I have some super exciting news! ✨✨💓💓 As you can see in the title: I designed a CHOKER!!
For a couple of months, I've been working with Taudreyt o bring to life my DREAM CHOKER! And it's finally here!
I wanted a delicate choker that can be easily dressed up or down. And I have to say it: it's so gorgeous! It looks so pretty by itself or with other dainty necklaces (all the necklaces I'm wearing here are also from Taudrey- as you can see, I've been a fan for SO long)!
You can customize the petite coin with your initials, a moon, or a star!
Inspired by the city where my family is from in Venezuela, Merida, this stunner presents a statement in a delicate and dainty manner. And boasting a celestial theme, the gold choker is a stylish reminder to shoot for the moon.

Como pudieron ver en el tÃtulo, diseñe una gargantilla junto a una marca de Miami llamada TAudrey (¡¡sus accesorios son mis favoritos!! Todos los que llevo en esta foto son de esta marca).
¡Asà que oficialmente les presento al "Merida Choker", mi gargantilla soñada y que no he dejado de usar!
Por cierto: se llama Merida en honor a la ciudad de donde es mi familia en Venezuela🇻🇪🇻🇪porque todo lo que hago es con todas las ganas de dejar el nombre de Venezuela en alto!

I’m not going to call it a full rant but kinda!
A couple of friends have been asking why I am not sharing pictures over here as often as I used to...and the reason is simple: I want to be more present, I want to enjoy life without looking at it through the screen of my phone. That’s the reason I’m so bad at Snapchat or IG stories; I like to put my phone down when I’m out with my friends or even at work events. I like having a real conversation with the people I’m with, instead of scrolling down my phone while pretending to listen. We need more “me” time to get inspired and find ourselves, we need more “real we” time to become better partners, better friends, better people!
He estado medio desaparecida por acá, y la razón es simple; quiero estar más presente en vez de sentir que vivo a través de la pantalla de mi teléfono. Creo que por eso es que soy tan mala en Snapchat e IG stories; me gusta poner mi teléfono en la mesa cuando estoy con mis amigos y hasta ignorarlo cuando estoy en eventos del blog. Me gustan las conversaciones de verdad, no de las que le hablas a alguien y mientras están texteando a otra persona. Creo que todos necesitamos más tiempo para nosotros, para inspirarnos, para crecer...y necesitamos más tiempo real con los demás para ser mejores amigos, mejores parejas, mejores personas.
To go to Cuenca we drove up from Guayaquil, it was a 5 hour trip (approximately). We stopped several times since we were a big group and someone was always hungry or wanted to go to do bathroom...or to take a pic (that was Gabe all the time).
The road was a little foggy but when it showed us the view...it was absolutely beautiful!.

Para ir a Cuenca manejamos desde Guayaquil. Son alrededor de 4-5 horas...o bueno eso fue lo que nos tardamos nosotros porque, al ser un grupo grande, siempre habÃa alguien que tenÃa hambre, ganas de ir al baño, o de tomar fotos (ese último era Gabo todo el tiempo).
HabÃa muchÃsima neblina, pero cuando despejaba, era realmente hermoso.
Espero que les hayan gustado estos 3 posts de Cuenca...cuéntenme si alguna vez han visitado este hermoso lugar. ¡BESOS!
I love weddings...and all the celebrations around it! Who needs an excuse to celebrate love?
The rehearsal dinner, generally the night before the wedding and right after the ceremony run-though, is key to starting off the celebration in the right direction. On my wedding, this was the day my guests got to meet each other, eat, drink...and we had way too much fun.
Dressing appropriately for the rehearsal dinner can be a little tricky because the overall dress code is a litlle vague. Hopefully the invitation has some direction but if it doesn't, don't be afraid to ask the groom/the bride/anyone in the bridal party.

Como siempre les digo, a mi me encantan las bodas y todas las celebraciones de boda (y más que aquà en Estados Unidos se celebra no solo la despedida de soltera, si no también el bridal shower y la cena del ensayo).
Esta cena generalmente se hace la noche anterior de la boda pero justo después del ensayo ( donde practica la entrada, la salida, quien va con quien, cuando se dan los anillos, etc etc). Pero lo mejor de este dÃa es que es el momento donde se rompe el hielo, los invitados se conocen, y se empieza a pasarla bien.
Vestirse apropiadamente para esta cena es complicado porque el código de vestimenta es más general. Puede que salga en la invitación, pero si no...no dudes en preguntarle a la novia/al novio/a la familia.

When I was younger I was very shy; I never spoke in class and public speaking would make my knees shake out of pure fear. During my first semester in college, I stepped out a classroom because we had to do an improvised presentation - that’s how self-aware I was.
I know most of my close friends and high school classmates wonder how I’m able to take pictures of myself almost every day and share them on platforms where people are not necessarily nice from time to time…or how I’ve spoken in conferences in front of hundreds of people. I used to be very self-conscious about my body, my voice, my shyness, my “awkwardness”.

Cuando era niña era muy tÃmida, nunca hablaba en clase y hablar en público hacÃa que el cuerpo entero me temblara. Esta timidez me acompañó hasta la universidad, una vez hasta me salà de una clase porque tenÃamos que improvisar en frente a la clase...casà me da algo.
Hasta el dÃa de hoy estoy segura que muchas de mis compañeras del colegio se preguntan como esa niña tÃmida es capaz de exponerse en un blog de moda (donde de vez en cuando la gente no es muy simpática)...o como puedo hablar en conferencias frente a cientos de personas. Y lo admito, no me sentÃa cómoda con mi cuerpo, mi voz, my timidez, mis "rarezas".

One of the biggest lessons that this blog, Nany’s Klozet has taught me is how to be “comfydent”- comfortable with myself, my body, my personality…even my craziness that just makes ME; and confident that I can reach whatever goal I put my mind into.
Y si hay algo que le agradezco a este blog fue como me enseño a sentirme segura de mi misma- cómoda conmigo misma, con mi cuerpo, mi personalidad, mis locuras....por que todo eso me hace YO- y con esta seguridad puedo alcanzar cualquier meta que me proponga. Porque el miedo no te lleva a ningún lado....pero luchar contra tus miedos te lleva lejos.
Fear doesn’t get you anywhere or anything; conquering your fears with “comfydence” WILL.
I’ve learned that confidence comes from the little things. It’s not about having the trendiest outfit or an expensive pair of shoes; it’s about how you comfortable you feel in whatever you are wearing.

Les cuento de mis favoritos:Hanes Cool Comfort Hipsters porque no se marca, y la tela tiene una microfibra que te mantiene fresca (perfecto para ciudades como Miami donde el otoño parece llegar una semana al año). Aquà también estoy usando ComfortFlex Fit Bra- que tiene una tecnologÃa de "talla inteligente"- es decir no hay copas como tal si no que se ajusta a tu busto para conseguir tu talla...cómodÃsmo.
I might be wearing just jeans and a simple black tank, but I really felt badsass! Because when a stylish outfit is also oh-so comfortable, you are ready to say:

Puede que en este look este usando solo una camisa negra y jeans...pero cuando un look estilos también es extra cómodo, te sientes lista para decir:

I'm so excited to be collaborating as a key style icon with Zappos for several weeks.
Zappos has become one of my favorite sites to find absolutely everything I need...from the cutest fall booties to my fave designer bags and everything in between.
By the end of the month, I'm going with Zappos to Las Vegas for Life Is Beautiful Festival so I ordered some festival-focused items: hello perfect nude Dolce Vita booties, and that burgundy bag! I was saving them for the festival but the shipping was so fast and the items were so cute I had to wear them as soon as I opened the box....but I already have some ideas to revamp this dress and wear it again in Las Vegas.
You all know I love dressing bohemian (it's one of my fashion alter egos), so as soon as I hear festival my style goes into boho chic mode.
Here are my fashion essentials for festivals:
- Flowy dresses with earthy colors.
- Wide Brim Hats
- Round sunglasses
- Fringe in at least one item.

Estoy super emocionada de contarles que voy a estar colaborando con Zappos con una "style icon" por varias semanas.
De la nada Zappos se ha convertido en mis páginas favoritas porque siento que lo puedo encontrar TODO en una página: zapatos, carteras, accesorios, todas las marcas, distintos presupuestos.
A finales de este mes voy a estar en Las Vegas junto a Zappos para ir a un festival que se llama Life Is Beautiful...asà que mi mente entró en modo bohemio y ordené varias piezas que gritan festival (¡Hola hola flecos y botines de Dolce Vita!). Les confieso que lo pedà para usarlo en el festival pero el shipping es tan rápido que no me aguanté y los tuve que usar antes de tiempo. Pero ya tengo varias ideas para darle otro toque a este vestido y reusarlo sin que se den cuenta en las Vegas.
Algunos de mis esenciales para festivales:
- Vestidos vaporosos en colores neutrales.
- Sombreros de ala ancha.
- Lentes de sol redondos.
- Flecos en alguna pieza.
- Botines cómodos con los que pueda bailar todo el dÃa.

While we were in Napa Valley, a couple of people recommended "Castillo Di Amorosa". It is a castle/vineyard...VERY VERY touristy (get ready for tons of people unless you get there very early). The entrance fee is not too expensive and you get to try 5 wines. You also get to choose which ones to try. We prefer white and sweet wines so all of them were like that.
100% recommended!
Estando en Napa nos recomendaron que fuéramos al Castillo Di Amorosa. Es un sueño de castillo/viñedo....bastante turÃstico (hay que llegar temprano porque de verdad que habÃa muchÃsima gente). La entrada no es cara e incluye una cata de vinos. Uno escoge cuales quieres probar, y si no hubiese sido por que no sabÃamos como llevarlos, probablemente hubiésemos agarrado alguno.
¡100% recomendado!

I have been living in these staples all summer long. I have not stopped wearing this top since last Summer, and this skirt goes absolutely with anything. I've been thinking of getting it in black...but I don't want to be that crazy girl with the same style in different colors. Meh whatever, as long as you wear something a lot...all excuses are valid!
These sandals are a low cost version of the Chloe ones, and they are so comfy. I linked to similar versions below too.
