Mad for plaid ♥️♥️ When I got this statement plaid coat a few years ago, I never thought I would wear it as much as I have...I have to update the remix for it but if you search on the blog plaid coat, you can see the other 4 ways I've worn it.

This time I went for a sporty vibe with a funky hat and my new favorite sneakers.

For our anniversary, we headed to our favorite city in the U.S: NEW YORK! We got there in the afternoon and we rushed to Central Park to see the lovely fall colors. We were there just in time, the following days were raining non-stop- which meant many of the last leaves fell.

My look was most about comfort than anything else! Also, check out our first travel video log (v-log lol).

Para nuestro segundo aniversario, fuimos a nuestra ciudad favorita: NUEVA YORK! Apenas llegamos, salimos corriendo a Central Park para disfrutar de los colores del otoño. Y llegamos a tiempo porque los siguientes días estuvo lloviendo sin parar...y la hojitas que quedaban se cayeron!

Mi look fue más comodidad- a mi vestirme glam en el frío no se me da. También les dejé abajo nuestro primer v-log en este viaje. Me cuentan que les parece!

I dream of living in New York, a few blocks from Central Park. I dream of seeing it bloom during the Spring, of planning a summer picnic under a tree, seeing the leafs fall in Fall, and then all white in Winter. I dream of walking Chiki and letting him play with the dozens of dogs you see.

One day New York, one day...

Sueño con vivir en Nueva York...a un par de cuadras de Central Park...con ver cada árbol florecer, con planear un picnic en pleno verano, ver todo el parque color naranja y luego blanquito después de una larga nevada. Sueño con pasear a Chiki ahí, leer un libro en sus bancos, encontrar nuevas esquinas que nunca había visto...

Algún día Nueva York...algún día.

I know this look is very plain- there's isn't anything extremely trendy (well, I love the jacket!). It was one of my days off as a fashion blogger. My parents went to New York to visit me- and I couldn't be any happier. I haven't seen them since Christmas and it was also my dad's birthday. All we did was WALK and EAT- specially on this day. We walked like 30 blocks in Central Park and another 20 to Times Square. Then we headed to Little Italy to eat; and later, I had a reflexology massage in Chinatown (those massages HURT, I had no idea...but it was a cool experience). These Keds became my feet's best friend in New York...you have no idea how comfortable they are. Have an amazing day and enjoy the pics from Central Park!!

Este es un look super relajado- no tiene nada especial (bueno la chaqueta es hermosa- ya la vieron en este look más arregladito). Mis papás fueron a visitarme unos días en Nueva York, y no podía estar más contenta. No los veía desde Navidad y era el cumpleaños de mi papá. Paseamos muchísimo por Nueva York, especialmente este día que caminamos más de 30 cuadras en Central Park y de ahí unas 20 más hasta Times Square. De ahí seguimos hasta Little Italy para ir a comer...y ya estabamos agotados!  Así que terminamos el día con un masaje en Chinatown. Estos Keds de lunares fueron mis mejores amigos en NYC, son los zapatos más cómodos que tengo. Espero que disfruten las fotos de Central park. Un abrazo inmensísimo!

As you already know, I'm still in NYC doing my intership before I graduate in June....and well, I didn't bring a lot of clothes with me. The past couple of weeks, I have being a walking WednesdayRemix- rewearing things over and over. Reason why you already saw this sweater my first week in NYC, and you'll definitely see it again before I go back to Miami. I have been working like never in my life...so I was so excited when Gabo told me he was visiting me. I had so much fun with him...we walked so much around the city. The place I'm staying at is very close to Central Park, just three blocks away- so stopping by Central Park was a must. I absolutely love how the scenery has changed over the past month...I love how the trees are now full of flowers and leaves (you have to remember I was born and raised ...and now live in a place where we don't have seasons. So getting to experience it for the first time is exciting haha). I hope you like the pictures!! XOXO

Como saben, estoy en Nueva York haciendo una pasantía... y bueno, viajé con la menor cantidad de ropa posible. Siento que las ultimas semanas, mi vestimenta ha sido un WednesdayRemix andante- he repetido las mismas piezas infinitas veces. Este suéter lo vieron en mi primer artículo desde NYC, y definitivamente lo van a ver más..así que prepárense. He estado trabajando como nunca en mi vida y de verdad que llego todas las noches agotada. Razón por la cual fue genial que Gabo viniese a visitarme el fin de semana pasado; paseamos como nunca. Central Park queda a tres cuadras de donde me estoy quedando, así que no podía faltar un día paseando por el parque. Cuando llegué a Nueva York, fui al parque y todos los árboles estaban peladitos...me encanta haber vivido la primavera completa acá. No solo el clima está cada día mejor, sino que el paisaje ha cambiado tanto...con todos los árboles llenos de flores ((recuerden que nací en Venezuela y vivo en Miami...en ninguno de estos lugares hay estaciones...por eso mi emoción jaja). ¡Espero que les gusten las fotitos!!! ¡Abrazos!

Nemo, the blizzard, apparently decided to hit NYC at the same time I did. However, I'm so happy it changed Manhattan's scenery to WHITE! I've seen snow just a couple times in my life; if I'm not mistaken this was just the third one (so you can imagine how excited I was). So excited that we woke very early just to see the snow before it turned into a brown mess because of the cars. We first headed to Central Park- which was breathtakingly beautiful, like out of a Hollywood movie. Kids were sliding down the small hills, dogs running and playing..even some people were skiing. I really just got dressed to be able to be outdoor for a long time- so it was all about layers ( I had another jacket underneath, plus two sweaters- tights underneath the pants and knee socks). I really want to thank my friend Valentina from Vahife Boutique (with the cutest accessories) for letting me borrow this amazing black coat, I would have frozen otherwise. Nemo, la tormenta de nieve, llegó al mismo tiempo que yo a Nueva York.  Así que después de que estuviese nevando toda la noche, nos levantamos tempranito a ver Central Park todo nevado. Son pocas las veces que he visto nieve en mi vida; creo que esta fue la tercera- se podrán imaginar, parecía una niña chiquita. Ese día lo agarré de descanso en cuanto a shows de moda, y nos fuimos a turistiar por la ciudad. Nueva York la conozco en verano, pero en invierno de verdad que es otra. Lo que más me gusto fue ver a la gente diviertiendose hasta más no poder en el parque; los niños deslizándose, otros esquiando, los perritos corriendo... y aparte todo blanquito, parecía de película. Sobre el outfit: este fue más por comodidad que por "moda"- sabía que iba a estar muchísimo tiempo al aire libre y tenía todas las capas posibles para aguantar el frío. Mil gracias a mi amiga Valentina de Vahife Boutique, que me prestó este abrigo negro (el cual me salvó del frío en todo el viaje). Espero que disfruten las fotos de NYC! Un abrazo inmensisísimo!
