You have no idea how hot it is in Miami right now (well, unless you live here). I can't believe it's just June...this July/August is going to be crazy. You already know my uniform for hot/casual days: high waisted shorts and crop tops. This time I wanted to pair a mint short with a contrasting purple bag and a gorgeous crochet top. To finish the look, I added nude booties and dainty gold accessories. Beside the hot weather, it is really humid too- so any hairstyle lasts around 2 minutes. Reason why I ended up doing a milkmaid braid- I haven't done a milkmaid braid in years (even though, I even did a tutorial on youtube in 2011). This is it for today... I have to pack my bags. No tienen idea el calor que está haciendo en haciendo en Miami... y apenas estamos en Junio (ni me quiero imaginar como va a ser este Julio/Agosto). Y ya conocen mi uniforme en día casuales y calurosos: shorts a la cintura y camisas cortitas. En esta ocasión quise usar este color menta con una camisa de crochet y una cartera morada que contrastara. Finalicé el look con unos botines color nude y accesorios delicados.  El otro problema es la humedad- cualquier peinado que me hago no dura ni dos minutos. Por esto, recurrí a un tipo de trenzas que tenía al menos dos años sin hacerme  (y eso que hice un tutorial en Youtube de como hacerla). Eso es todo, las dejo porque tengo que hacer maleta- probablemente cuando lean esto ya estaré volando. (Destino:...les doy una pista. Un país de Europa al que nunca he ido!). Un abrazo grandísimo!

You can say that this look went through 2 transformations on Saturday; it started with leopard loafers to go to a dog park with Chiki, then I changed to the ankle booties to have lunch with Gabo, and later that day I changed the pants for a leather skirt to go to the Art Walk (more on that tomorrow- even though it basically the same). I wanted to wear something simple and comfortable but still classy- I haven't stopped wearing these jeans, I absolutely love the high-waisted cut. I paired them with a timeless white button up and gold accessories (Isn't the tiger bracelet amazing!!?).  To fnish the look, I added the red bag and red lipstick- if you are wondering, it IS the best red ever...305 hot by Covergirl. Se puede decir que este look del sábado sufrió 3 transformaciones; primero lo usé con unas flats de leopardo para pasear a chiqui por un parque de perritos, luego me cambié a los botines para ir a almorzar con mi novio, y después en la noche cambié los pantalones por una falda de cuero para ir al Art Walk (ese look lo subo mañana; aunque como les digo, es básicamente igual). Era un look sencillo y cómodo- desde que compré estos pantalones negros a la cintura, no me los he quitado! Y esta vez quise combinarlos con una camisa clásica abotonada con accesorios dorados (díganme si la pulsera del tigre no está genial). The past few days in Miami have being very windy... and even though for the rest of the world, this is still crazy summer, everyone feels like fall is slowly approaching. So here's what I wore for this week's challenge: Wear leather, I actually wore it a couple of time the past few days and you'll see another version on Tuesday. I wanted to wear this leather jacket with these fun snakeskin print jeans and a simple white tee. I added gold fun accessories to end the look. Since I was going for the rocker look with the straighter hair and everything, I wanted to wear a deep purple lipstick but mine weren't dark enough- so I added a little bit of black eyeliner! Los últimos días en Miami han estado bastante frescos... y aunque para el resto del mundo seguimos en temperaturas veraniegas, todo el mundo ha estado vistiéndose más otoñal. Así que aproveché para hacer el reto de la semana: usar cuero varias veces- originalmente mi outfit del reto lo verán esta semana  y luego les explicaré porque lo tuve que postponer. Ok, volviendo a este look:  quise usar mis pantalones con estampado de culebra con la chaqueta de cuero y una camisa básica blanca. Como era un look más rocker, quería usar una pintura de labios oscura, de un color parecido al de los pantalones...pero ningún color quedaba oscuro así que lo mezclé con un poquitico de delineador negro. Fue un día tranquilo, fuimos a pasear por el parque en frente de mi casa y a tomar merengadas.
