Last Monday, Gabo helped out in a fashion photoshoot at a place called Viscaya, maybe you remmeber it from a post last year. A lot of people go there to take pictures, especially for weddings, a sweet sixteen- you have no idea how many girls were dresses as princess there....crown included. Since that place is AMAZING, I really wanted to go again- and the weather was appropriate for faux leather leggings. However, ombre shirt was definitely the focus of the outfit- a lot of you were asking me about it on Facebook and Instagram (@nanysklozet). I ended up the look with some silver touches like the silver necklace, some studded booties, classic black bag, and some cat-eye sunglasses. I hope you liked the look and have an amazing weekend! XOXO

As you might know, this week's challenge was to wear studs or spikes- after publishing this look with spikes on the heel on Saturday, I realized I could've used that one... but I really wanted to go all out with a fully studded piece. Reason why I chose this coral jacket completely covered in studs (you may remember it from the Neon-ize photoshoot)- to keep the look wearable and simple, the rest of the outfit was plain black. Well, I also added a little bit of studs in the shoes (but since they are only in the heel, and both pieces are not close... I thought they didn't clash). I wore this on Sunday to go out with my mom and Gabo. As always; if you wore studs this week, leave your link at the end of this post! XOXO
ps: check out this fun interview I did with WhatIwear!!

Besos!
The other day I was talking with my blogger friend Steffy about how to keep the blog fresh (meaning that we don't want to bore out readers) while keeping our signature style. Reason why I wanted to try more of a "rocker" look while still being ME. If you saw my wish list for March, you know I've been looking for an 80s band shirt like crazy- and I finally found it... at Target (at the men's section, it's a size small!). I paired with this amazing pleated "leather"skirt and my favorite ankle booties. My day started doing a final project for my "trends" class, I swear my living room was full of magazine cut-outs! After that, my boyfriend picked me up to have sushi (if you live in Miami, I totally recommend this place. It's called Sushi Café and they have the best chicken sushi ever). Then we headed to the mall because my bf was looking for a pair of black jeans and I want a hat that I couldn't find. At Forever 21, a girl came to say hi and tell me that she reads my blog (such a great feeling!). I hope you are having an amazing weekend! XOXO

This was actually the 1st pictures we took in Miami after my holiday trip to Venezuela and Europe- my bf got upset because I kept complaining on the picture quality (if you look closely, the are not as sharp as the rest of the posts). After changing the lens many times, we realized something was wrong with his camera and he sent it to Canon so they can fix it. Reason why we have been taking them lately with my camera (which I LOVE and a lot people ask me what model it is- Canon Rebel T3i and I use the 50 mm 1.8F lens for those wondering :) ) Back to the outfit, I had been waiting for this bag for a couple of weeks and I was so excited when it got home that I couldn't wait to wear it- it's the perfect size/shape.. and I adore the sequins). This time I paired with simple pieces that equal a super glam outfit and I really like that it is a versatile look that you can wear to a lot of different occasions (like going out with your friends, change the leather pants for black business pants and you are ready to work). I actually wore it to go out with my boyfriend and have sushi (it's like our thing, we are addicted to it). Finally I just wanted to say thanks for stopping by my blog- don't forget to leave your comment ( I love reading what you liked, what you didn't like, what you would change, how much you wear X piece). XOXO

Sincerely, I'm not a Kardashian freak- I do watch the show because I like Kourtney and Scott. However, I think Monica Rose sometimes does an amazing job with Kim's outfits. I saved this outfit in my computer months ago since I had similar pieces to recreate it; but at that time, Miami was extremely HOT. Yesterday I was going through my files and I decided to wear it (oh and the weather was perfect outside for this!). I added all the prices so you can compare the items- Kim's complete look costs around $7,400, while mine is not over $300. I wasn't sure about how much my jacket and my boots cost because both were gifts (my dad got me the jacket for my birthday and Flor de Maria Fashion gifted the booties to me when she stayed with me in Miami)- I went through the brands website and pulled out the price of similar items. This is what I wore to a small get together at a friend's house. HAVE A GREAT WEEK! Thank you SO much for stopping by! XOXO

We are still trying to improve the pictures after the sun goes down- it's harder and even though we were using a professional flash (borrowed), sometimes it focused what it shouldn't. When I got home I realized I was blurry and the Britto art in the back looked perfect. After going to the Everglades in the afternoon, I got back home and got ready to go out. I really wanted to wear my new "leather" shorts ( can you believe they cost me only $15? and they are super comfy). This time I paired it with studded booties and a studded bag for a rocker vibe- however, the feminine lace balances it out. My boyfriend got obsessed with 100 montaditos so we went there AGAIN- but this time it was more to hand out/drink than eat (they have an amazing drink called "tinto de verano"- which is wine and Sierra Mist...delicious!). We stayed there until they kicked us out around 11:30- so we headed to Miami Beach. What would you wear with this shorts? Thanks for stopping by, I love reading your amazing comments! YOU ROCK!
If you want to see the first outfit from the Furor Series, click here. This look is definitely one of my favorites- and as someone said on the Facebook page, it is "glam-rock". We were inspired by the B&W shirt, Tati (Furor's owner) calls it "the mullet"- long in the back, short in the front . I think I'm going to get it, I really liked it- the color is so versatile. We were thinking about a fall outfit- reason why we chose the booties and the leather jacket ( ankle booties make my legs shorter, reason why I wanted to wear the skirt as short as I could). I also loved the bulky bag, the size is perfect for so many ocassions.. from the office to running errands. What did you think of this outfit? Which one is your favorite so far? Thanks for visiting the blog! XOXO
