Your real sense of style kicks in when you are wearing clothes that you feel confident in; when you stop trying too hard and just start being YOU.

I’ve been sharing my personal style for 7 years and I’ve had tried many trends and styles and I’ve found some great sites. Today I want to tell you about this new site called ELEVTD , a shoes.com company. They are dedicated to choosing the top fashion forward pieces from top designers and cutting edge brands. My whole look from today is from there and I loved how highly curated the site was.

and.. I have 3 style rules that I want to share with you today:

1. The key is purchasing versatile pieces:
Before adding anything to my online cart or trying it on. I think of at least three ways I could wear that item. Remember, versatility doesn’t mean boring. On the contrary, look for cool details that make a piece unique. For example, I’m loving the tie in the back on this Kendall+Kylie grey sweater- a stylish twist in a classic piece that works with everything.

2. Don’t be afraid to invest
You work hard, you deserve to treat yourself. My weakness when it comes to luxe items: shoes and bags. I fell in love with these Ferragamo fringe sandals; they are chic and sophisticated. I’m loving the rose gold detail and the fringe detail. These are going to be my Holiday-party go-to, but they also look incredible with jeans (see, versatile, unique and luxe!)

Less is more- and quality over quantity any day of the week!

3. Forget about sizes
We need to stop comparing ourself with what we see online, in magazines..and even in our past selves. Wear what makes you feel BEST- and the size, that’s just a number. For example, when it comes to boyfriend jeans (like this amazing Rag & Bone pair I’m wearing right here.), I like going a size up and the fit is always so much better!
