Quality and Versatility in Skincare...with VICHY

Tuesday, December 13, 2016

When I’m shopping for clothes I always think “how many ways can I wear this item”. If the answer is less than 3, that item stays in the store or on my online shopping cart.
I always think of a mix of quality and versatility…but what about in the beauty department?

I’ve seen friends who use many (way too MANY) products when it comes to their skincare routine. Your daily routine should be simple and efficient; the products you use should have as many benefits and as many quality ingredients as possible.

One of my favorite things about being a blogger is that I get to try different products; and I love partnering with brands that I can’t stop raving about their products. The past month, I’ve been using these 3 fantastic products from VICHY that make my skincare routine not only efficient but my skin is feels incredible.

If you are not familiar with the brand, VICHY is the #1 anti-aging brand in European pharmacies…and the reason is simple: high quality products (that are Paraben free and allergy tested) + great price point. They are seen as being staple in French skincare regimen and designed and proven to maximize skin health, hydrate, nourish, and defend skin against aging. And like that wasn’t all, the core of every VICHY product formula is pure mineralizing thermal water from the French Volcanos…how cool is that!?

STEP 1: CLEANSE: PURETE THERMALE MICELLAR SOLUTION ($14.50)

My number one beauty rule is never, ever, going to sleep without makeup on.  No matter how tired I am or how late it is. So just like my shopping rule, I was instantly drawn to anything that says 3-in-1. Using a cotton pad in sweeping motions, it removes impurities, soothes irritation, and removes face and eye makeup…all in one!  Besides the Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water from the French Volcanoes, it has vitamin B5 and moisturizing glycerin…making it safe for sensitive skin and contact lens wearers.

STEP 2: PREP: MINERALIZING THERMAL SPA WATER ($14)

I was super excited to try this mist, it was one of those products that you cannot help but wonder how they work…and I was impressed!

The Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water mist contains 15 essential minerals to strengthen and protect skin against internal and external aggressors like pollution, stress and fatigue.

This mist is the perfect second step for your morning and night routine; but you can use it during the day to refresh your skin and protect against aggressors like pollution and even fatigue.  Also, it can be used to set your makeup (or make it dewy after a long day), and thin out heavier moisturizers.

STEP 3: HYDRATE: AQUALIA RANGE

The last step is my favorite: HYDRATION!
My skin is very dry- even in hot humid Miami weather; so I’m all about keeping it hydrated.
I’m loving how fresh and silky my skin feels when using VICHY Aqualia Range Thermal Dynamic Hydration Rich Cream- one of the best hydrating moisturizers out there. It is infused with the highest concentration of Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water and a unique 48 hr. Dynamic Hydration technology to lock water in evenly throughout the face.

(If you skin type is more on the oily/combo side: I recommend Aquaria Thermal Mineral Water Gel)

SEE, this is what I’m talking…look for amazing products that you can use multiple ways and/or have different benefits.
