Beauty Sleep Routine + Garnier Ultra Lift® Miracle Sleeping Cream Sweepstakes

That quote basically summarizes my terrible sleep patterns.  I regularly go to sleep very late because that’s when I feel the most productive and the most creative- I answer emails, edit photos, brainstorm ideas, write, etc. Even though I work from home and I’m lucky enough to get my beauty sleep, some days I have to work early and I need a little something-something to feel (and look) refreshed in the morning.  So I’ve been trying to come up with an easy routine to tell my body “it is time to rest”.

El otro día leí una frase que decía: "“My nights are for overthinking and my mornings are for oversleeping”- la cual más o menos se traduce a que paso mis noches pensando demasiado y mis mañanas durmiendo demasiado.

Y esa frase básicamente refleja mis patrones de sueño. Usualmente me acuesto muy tarde porque es cuando me siento más productiva y creativa; respondo emails, edito fotos, pienso en nuevos post, escribo, etc.  Aunque me siento muy afortunada de poder trabajar desde casa y poder dormir hasta la hora que quiera, hay días en que tengo que despertarme muy temprano-  y necesito alguito para sentirme y verme fresca la mañana siguiendo. Por eso, estoy intentando esta rutina que le diga a mi cuerpo "es hora de descansar".

After taking my makeup and cleansing my face, I use a moisturizing night cream. Lately, I’ve been using Garnier Ultra-Lift® Miracle Sleeping Cream™ Anti-Age + Anti-Fatigue Night Cream.  This face cream fights wrinkles and signs of fatigue while you sleep…give me anything that works while I rest!! I’ve been using it for about two weeks and my skin felt softer and smoother even after just one use. Después de desmaquillarme y lavar mi cara, uso una crema hidratante de noche. Ultimamente he estado usando la de Garnier "Ultra-Lift® Miracle Sleeping Cream™ Anti-Age + Anti-Fatigue Night Cream ". Esta crema ayuda a combatir las arrugas y los signos de cansancio mientras duermas…dame todo lo que funciona mientras yo descanso. Llevo usándola por 2 semanas y siento mi piel más suave. También huele rico sin ser abrumador (tiene un toque de aceite de lavanda, extractos de pantas ratas, y adenosina. Ahora tengo ganas de probar la crema para ojos de la misma linea…a ver si funciona en mis mega ojeras.

I like listing what I have to do the next day, that way I don’t go to sleep with a thousand thoughts- everything is written down and ready to be done the day after. Also, I don’t like going to bed with an empty stomach, I like having a healthy snack like strawberries while I watch some of my favorite shows online.  Then, I drink warm tea. Tea has many health benefits as we all know-but even Ancient Chinese medicines believes in its calming attributes. Then I try to put the phone and computer away and instead I grab a book. I’ve always love reading…but I can’t lie, it makes me a little sleepy.

Me gusta hacer una lista de todo lo que tengo que hacer el día siguiente; así no me acuesto con un millón de pensamientos ya que todo esta escrito y listo para hacer el día siguiente.
