Last week, I attended a well-known conference for Latinos called Hispanicize and I was so excited to be there thanks to Olay Fresh Effects.
During the four days of the conference, there were many panels with interesting topics for bloggers. I especially enjoyed “Rules of Engagement” and the fashion panel “Runway Ready: Meet the Influential Latina Fashion Bloggers” - where some of my close fashion bloggers friends spoke.
However, this conference is more than panels that start early in the morning. Throughout the day there were many activities that ended late at night. You know what that means, I wasn’t sleeping the eight hours I should...but with a little help from Olay Fresh Effects, I was ready to wake up, shine and conquer.
Every day, I spent time at the P&G Lounge, where visitors experienced free manicures, hairstyles and makeovers. The P&G Lounge also hosted a daily celebrity meet & greet and photo-op. At the end of each day, I would do a fun giveaway with Olay Fresh Effects via social media: whoever found me first and took a photo with me using the hashtag #FreshAMGirls would win Olay Fresh Effect products.
I had such an amazing time. My favorite part was getting to see some of my blogger friends that
live around the U.S. I also met some amazing people.
Durante los 4 dÃas de conferencia, hubo diferentes paneles con temas muy interesantes para el mundo blogger. Dos de mis favoritos fueron “Rules of Engagement” y “Runway Ready: Meet the Influential Latina Fashion Bloggers” - un panel de moda donde grandes amigas bloggeras estuvieron hablando.
Esta conferencia no se trata solo sobre los paneles que empiezan en la mañana, durante el dÃa continuaban las actividades que se extendÃan hasta muy tarde en la noche. Definitivamente no estaba durmiendo las ocho horas necesarias, pero con un poquito de ayuda de Olay FreshEffects, estaba lista para despertarme, brillar y conquistar el mundo.
Todos los dÃas estuve un rato en el lounge de P&G; ahà estaban haciendo manicures, peinados, y
maquillaje. También todos los dÃas tenÃan una celebridad invitada, con quienes podÃas tomarte
fotos. Finalmente, todos los dÃas estuve haciendo una rifa muy divertida con Olay Fresh Effects:
quien me encontrara de primero y se tomara una foto conmigo usando el hashtag
#FreshAMGirls, se llevaba un premio de muchos productos Olay Fresh Effects .

Hey everyone! As promised, here’s another step-by-step hairstyle tutorial.
As you may have notice, I recently chopped more than 10 inches of hair. Yes, it’s still long but it has been a challenge to style it differently. With this new haircut, I wanted to continue to keep it healthy, prevent split ends and the damages that may be caused from heat styling- so I have been using used TRESemmé’s Split Remedy Split End Leave-In Conditioning Treatment, to restore its moisture!
For this tutorial, I originally wanted to do a
knotted ponytail. However, I have shorter layers in the front that it wouldn’t
let that happen so I thought….let me do a braid first! It worked, I really like
the final result and I promise, it’s very easy to do.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- - A blowdryer
- - A tailcomb
- - TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Illuminating Shine Spray
- - TRESemmé Split Remedy Leave-In Split End Conditioning Treatment
- - Hair Elastics- preferably transparent.

¡Hola a todas! Como les prometÃ, aquà va otro tutorial paso-a-paso.
Como se habrán dado cuenta, en los últimos meses me corté muchÃsimo el cabello. Si, todavÃa esta relativamente largo pero ha sido un reto para mi peinarlo. También quiero mantenerlo saludable y prevenir horquetillas que pueden ser causadas por el uso de plancha/secador- por eso he estado utilizando el acondicionador y crema de TRESemmé llamada Split Remedy Leave-In Split End Conditioning Treatment.
Para este tutorial, originalmente querÃa hacer una cola de caballo con unos nudos. Ya que tengo capas más cortes en el frente, esto no fue posible...asà que se me ocurrió agregar una trenza primero. Me gustó mucho el resultado final, les prometo que es facilÃsima de hacer.
