Wednesday was a LONG day; after spending the whole night finishing up an advertising for fashion project, I had to get ready to present it (thankfully, I didn't have to since the class is big and there wasn't enough time for everybody). After that, I had to run home to get ready for a "Despierta America" interview (for those of you who aren't hispanic, it's a popular morning show on the biggest hispanic TV network. But you are not going to believe what happened, I got home and the power was out- big problem when you are expecting cameras and lights (and when you need the curling iron to get ready lol). Thankfully, one of the camera men had something on his car that transforms the battery power into electrify... so my house ended up full of cables everywhere. It was an amazing experience and I'm so grateful for it. The interview will be aired on Tuesday, but I'll be able to share it online so I'll post it here too! El miércoles fue un dÃa larguÃsimo; después de pasar toda la noche anterior terminando un proyecto de la clase de publicidad de moda, tuve que prepararme para presentarlo en la mañana (menos mal que como éramos muchos, y no alcanzó el tiempo.. me toca la semana que viene). Luego salir corriendo para mi casa porque el equipo de "Despierta America" me iba a entrevistar sobre mi experiencia como bloggera latinas en el mundo de la moda. No van a creer lo que pasó, se fue la luz en toda la zona donde vivo- y tenÃan que poner las luces, cámaras, etc (aparte que no pude ni arreglarme mucho porque no habÃa luz ni en el baño jajaja). Menos mal que uno de los camarógrafos tenÃa algo para el carro que convertÃa la energÃa de la baterÃa en electricidad, y mi casa termino llena de cables para poder prender todo. Después de varias horas, todo salió súper, la entrevista sale el martes que viene- igual estoy casi segura que la ponen online y yo la comparto con ustedes por aquÃ! Un abrazo grandÃsimo, y de verdad que mil gracias por es por ustedes que se me presentan estas oportunidades tan incr eÃbles!
A white blazer is as versatile as a black one- and it gives a polished twist to any outfit. I got this blazer at Zara last summer; and even though, it was a little over my budget. It definitely was an investment, the quality is amazing and I know I'm going to keep wearing it in the upcoming seasons

Yo compré este blazer en Zara el verano pasado, y aunque costaba un poco más de lo que pagarÃa por un blazer.. considero que valió la pena. I was so excited on Saturday to post the Teeki Giveaway, that I completely forgot about the outfit I wore on Friday to go to the movies. You have already seen these pants in two occasions- I really want to wear them as much as possible so I can do a fun remix and prove that leopard jeans can be versatile too. The last time I wore them, I wore the exact same shirt too- however, this time I wore it up (instead on butted up) so the look was more casual and laid back (see the previous look HERE). I also paired it with brown/gold accessories so it was less harsh- even though I'm wearing a necklace, bracelet and a ring, the accessories are so simple that they don't overwhelm the pants. Ya estos pantalones los han visto en 2 ocasiones anteriores- quiero sacarles el mayor provecho posible para que vean que una pieza tan llamativa como estos jeans pueden ser más versátiles de lo que pensamos. En esta ocasión estoy utilizando hasta con la misma camisa que vieron AQUI, pero la abrà para darle un toque más casual y relajado. También lo combiné con accesorios marrones en vez de negros para que fuera un look más sencillo. A pesar de que tengo bastantes accesorios (pulsera, anillo, y collar), todos son tan delicados que no le quitan protagonismo a estos pantalones tan llamativos. Espero que les haya gustado! As the title says.. this is definitely a back to basics looks- I'm wearing a lot of pieces that you should have in your closet: dark skinny jeans (courtesy of Big Star USA), black platforms, a simple white tee.. and yes.. a red bag (it spices up any look, no matter how simple it is). It was a very relaxing Sunday- it included a little shopping ( I found the adhesive bra I told you on my shopping list for march). We also ate at a french bistro nearby my house and then I spent the whole day working on a project due this week. Happy monday! XOXO

I love dressing up, even if it's just to go out with my boyfriend to have dinner. A mi me encanta arreglarme, asà sea solo para ir la cena obligatoria semanal con mi novio- esta vez combiné una camisa roja con el cuello de lentejuelas con mi falda negra favorita (ya hice un remix.. pueden ver todas las formas como la he usado AQUI). Le agregué las medias negras porque siento que se ve muy cortita al usarla con tacones. También mantuve los accesorios al mÃnimo para que toda la atención estuviera en la camisa. I promised I would share more of what I wear to the university.. so here's a super comfy outfit with my flared jeans and a flowy shirt. I don't know if I have mentioned something about how short my semesters are- they are actually called quarters (4 a year and they last 11 weeks)- and the 1st quarter of the year is about to end, which means FINAL PROJECTS! As you can imagine, I've been super busy with huge projects due in the next two weeks- I have to do a store window display, develop a fictitious full line of 6 products (from the designing process to the launch of the store), and do an ad for "evening wear" where I'm the model! I'll definitely share the end results! About my outfit: if I wear heels to school, 99% of the times are wedges. Also, I absolutely love this shirt- I really like the asymmetrical hem and the slits on the shoulders! HAVE AN AMAZING FRIDAY! Xoxo

_____________________Les prometà más outfits de universidad...asà que hoy les traigo uno con jeans cómodos. No se si les he contado pero en mi universidad los "semestres" son "quarters"- porque son 4 al año y pasan VOLANDO (ya en primer quarter del 2012 está apunto de acabarse y estoy a millón con los proyectos finales). Hay varios trabajos que me encantarÃa mostrarles- uno de ellos es una vitrina de tienda que vamos a hacer, otro en el que tengo que ser yo misma "la modelo" de un anuncio en la clase de publicidad, y finalmente uno de una colección de zapatos que hice (habÃa que desarollarlos desde el diseño hasta la invitación del lanzamiento de la colección!) Asà que como se pueden imaginar.. he estado ocupadÃsima con la universidad. Sobre mi outfit: la camisa la compré en Forever 21 hace muchÃsimo tiempo, me gusta mucho que es asimétrica (más larga por detrás) y me encantan los huequitos en la parte de los hombros. FELIZ VIERNES! Un abrazotote!
pd: siempre que menciono algo de la universidad me preguntan que estudio. Estudio "Fashion Merchandising"- todo la parte de la moda que no es diseñar y coser; desde publicidad de moda hasta la producción de fashion shows.
