I was supposed to publish an outfit color-blocking with primary colors- but I'm in Caracas an obviously I couldn't bring a lot of clothes. I was planning on wearing a bright blue blazer but I want it to get it tailored for the challenge and it's not ready yet . I'm really sorry. I hope I can post it soon.On Sunday, Father's Day, we had brunch with my mom's family at the small city I told you I was this weekend. We ate delicious Venezuelan food ("arepas"). After that, we drove back to Caracas, got ready and we went out to had a late lunch/early dinner. We went to my dad's favorite sushi restaurant (I know it sounds like it was my idea to eat sushi, but it was his). About my outfit: I wanted to wear my bright pink blazer with neutrals and a pink belt. Se supone que hoy fuera el outfit del reto de usar colores primarios, pero vine a Caracas antes de escoger el reto y lo que me quería poner está en el costurero (me quedaba grande, y lo mandé a arreglar. Tenía la esperanza que estuviera listo hoy.). Así que discúlpenme, pero les prometo publicarlo después.El domingo, día del padre, primero la pasamos con la familia de mi mamá e hicimos un "brunch"/desalmuerzo con arepitas. Después de eso recogimos y regresamos a Caracas para comer con mi hermano. Mi mamá iba a cocinar, pero mi papá quiso ir a comer sushi (suena a que fue idea mía, pero no!). Nos fuimos al restaurante favorito de él ya en la tardecita, y comimos hasta que no podíamos más. Estas fotos las tomamos en un mirador y me encanta la vista, se ve toda Caracas y el Avila. Sobre mi outfit: quería usar mi blazer rosada otra vez- pero la combiné con colores neutrales y otro toque de rosado en la correa. Lo chevere de esta correa es que tu mismo puedes escoger los colores, hay una opción que dice "customize" y puedes elegir el color de correa, de la hebilla y del palito (he visto unas super originales- para ver más sobre los cinturones, haz click aquí.). FELIZ SEMANA! 

This weekend, as I told you, we traveled to a small city a couple of hours away from Caracas. My mom's family is from there and we like to visit them as often as possible- we go the family's country house. This is what I normally wear there: a comfy outfit (it's very hot there), no shoes, no bag, no accessories! (even though, I decided to add a statement necklace because the romper is very simple).  We had a lot of fun; I played with my little cousins, read a book, relaxed, and ate like crazy. Este fin de semana, como les conté, viajamos a una ciudad a unas horas de Caracas para pasar un tiempo con la familia de mi mamá. Siempre vamos a una casa de campo familiar muy linda- ahí tenemos diferentes animales: perros, guacamayas, loros, gallinas, etc. Generalmente utilizó un outfit cómodo (con traje de baño abajo), sin zapatos, y nada de preocuparme por la cartera y accesorios. Esta vez quise agregarle un collar llamativo para transformar el romper. Fue un sábado muy relax y familiar; jugué con mis primitos, leí, dormí, y comimos muchísimo. Today, Father's Day, I wanted to do a quick post dedicated to my dad. My dad has always being there for me, he taught me to fight when you want something and to follow your dreams- he taught me that setbacks make you stronger, and that love and family is unconditional. He holds me by the hand when I need him the most and he lets me fly because I've always wanted to reach to the sky. My dad has always been my # 1 fan and he'll always  be my role model. Thank you so much Daddy!  I LOVE YOU!

Hoy, Día del Padre, quería aprovechar esta oportunidad para dedicale este artículo a mi papá. Mi papá es la persona que más me ha apoyado, el que me enseño que hay que luchar cuando se quiere algo, el que me enseño que los tropiezos te hacen más fuertes, y que el cariño es infinito y no tiene condiciones. Mi papá me ha agarrado de la mano cuando más lo necesito y me ha dejado volar porque siempre he querido alcanzar el cielo. Mi papa siempre ha sido mi fan #1 y el siempre será mi ejemplo a seguir. Yesterday was a LONG day- I never wake up early, but I wanted to go to the gym with my mom. We took a dance class at 8am- I had so much fun, I love dancing. I came back home, took a shower, dressed up... and it was only 12pm- it felt like 6 (at least!!). There was a slight change of plans and we decided to visit my mom's family at a small city about 2 hours from Caracas- but there was so much traffic, we got here at night. I have limited internet access (and when it works, it's super slow); I don't even know how I uploaded this pictures. About my outfit: I love how the stripes look with leopard, it's super classy (and I love this dress, I've worn it a couple of times). Ayer fue uno de esos días extremadamente largos- yo jamás me despierto temprano pero quise acompañar a mi mamá a una clase de baile a las 8 am. Fui, la pasé super, y ahora me duelen las piernas horriblemente. Eran las 12 y sentía que eran las 6 de la tarde jaja. Me bañe, me vestí, y hubo un pequeño cambio de planes.. y decidimos viajar en carro a visitar a la familia de mi mamá. Pasamos todo el día en un tráfico horrible, llegamos ya de noche. Ando con poco internet (y cuando funciona, es lentísimo). No se ni como pude subir estas fotos. Sobre mi outfit: me encanta la combinación de rayas con estampado de leopardo- me parece super clásico y este vestido me encanta (ya me lo he puesto varias veces aquí). El resto del outfit cómodo y simple. Espero que les haya gustado y que esten pasando un bonito fin de semana. Gracias por pasa por aquí. Un abrazo inmenso a todas!

Yesterday was EXHAUSTING!- I spent hours and hours and the US embassy- as I told you before, I got accepted to study Fashion Merchandising in Miami ( can't wait, I'm so excited!). I woke up early to be there in time, I had to do at least 10 lines (and they made me do them the three times- first I needed to get rid of a flashlight, then the folder was too big, and finally I was missing an important paper!). I spent 5 hours standing up, it was hot and then rainy, and the lines were HUGE; but it was all worth it... I'm ready to go back to school! After that, I went back home to eat (I was starving!!), cleaned my face, changed my flats to heels, and I was ready for the pictures..... it started raining again!  I hate taking pictures indoors- but there's nothing I can do about it.  We went to the mall to get my thrifted dresses tailored (they really needed a makeover!) I'm so excited to see them ready (I'll show them to you obviously !!) . XOXO

Ayer fue un día realmente agotador- pase horas en la embajada americana para poder seguir estudiando- que como les conté me aceptaron para estudiar Fashion Merchandising en Miami. Me desperté temprano para llegar allá con tiempo, hice mínimo 10 filas ya que me devolvieron 3 veces; una por tener una carpeta muy grande, otra por tener una linterna y finalmente me faltaba un papel. Después de 5 horas parada, un palo de agua, un solazo, y mucha paciencia, me la aprobaron. No puedo esperar para empezar a estudiar moda, estoy super emocionada. Llegué a mi casa cansadísima y muerta de hambre,  almorcé, me lave la cara, me cambié los zapatos bajitos por tacones y cuando estaba lista para tomar las fotos... una lluvia impresionante. Por esta razón tuvimos que tomar las fotos adentro, y- aunque no me gusta tomar fotos adentro- así quedaron y quería compartirlas con ustedes. Después de eso nos fuimos al centro comercial a llevar unos vestidos vintage que necesitaba arreglar (o mejor dicho, transformar!). Ya les mostraré como quedaron. Un abrazo a todas!

As I told you, I'm in Venezuela spending some time with my family. Today's photographer was  my mom! I taught her how take the pictures with my camera, and she learned so fast! I'm super proud of her, she was amazing! About my day: I woke up very late because I was tired from the flight the day before ( I hate traveling), I had lunch with my parents and I headed to the hair salon. I really needed to cut my bangs and trim it a little. After that, we run some errands and had some dessert at a little cafe. For today's outfit: I really wanted to try a different combination with different elements like the booties. I really like how the denim shirt looks with the pink jeans- finally, I added this beautiful fuchsia bangle! Thanks for visiting my blog! XOXO

Como les conté, estoy en Caracas visitando a mi familia. Hoy la fotógrafa fue mi mamá, felicítenla! Le enseñé como usar la cámara, como agacharse, etc etc y si la vieran, aprendió rapidísimo!! Estoy super orgullosa de ella,  buenísima fotógrafa. Me desperté tardísimo porque estaba agotada del viaje el día anterior, almorcé con mis papás y de ahí fui a la peluquería. Necesitaba urgente que me cortaran las puntas, y la pollina (flequillo/fleco) estaba tan larga que ya no podía ser considerada pollina. Luego fui a hacer unas dilifencias con mi mamá y terminamos merendando en un café. Sobre mi outfit: quería intentar una combinación diferente con mis jeans agregándole una camisa de denim y una pulsera grande fucsia.  Mil gracias por visitar el blog! Un abrazo inmenso!
