Layering in Miami is very hard...but not impossible. My main recommendation is looking for light pieces and even better if it's sleeveless (meaning that vests are your best friend if you live in a tropical climate). When I got this vest online, I thought it was made ou of faux-leather... and I'm actually glad it wasn't (it's more like "linen" so I can wear year all year round). As you can see, I've worn it with dress pants, jeans, short sleeve tops, sleeveless tops, and dresses (but the possibilities are endless, I want to wear it a lot more on the blog). Usar capas en Miami es difícil...pero no imposible. Mi recomendación es buscar telas ligeras y mejor aún si es sin mangas ( es decir, para jugar con capas en climas calurosos lo mejor son los chalecos). Cuando compré este chaleco por internet, pensé que era de cuero- pero ahora me alegro que haya sido de hilo porque puedo usarla mucho más. Como pueden ver en las fotos, este chaleco blanco lo he utilizado con pantalones de vestir y con jeans....con camisas sin mangas y con mangas... y con vestidos. Pero las posibilidades son infinitas... estoy segura que lo verán más seguido porque me gusta mucho.

I love finding versatile pieces, items that you can wear to different from day to night or on different occasions... And that's exactly what I love about these GAP pants. The cut is very classic, so you can wear it with a blazer to the office; but the print makes it fun enough to wear out with your friends. For this outfit, I tried making the look more casual with a trendy white vest; also, I choose blue accents that contrasted with the light pink of the pants. It was so much fun collaborating with GAP Styld.by and I hope you like this outfit and gives your some inspiration! XOXO

Como saben, me encanta encontrar piezas versátiles- piezas que puedas usar del día a la noche o en diferentes ocasiones. Y esto es exactamente lo que me encantó de estos pantalones de GAP. El corte es bastante clásico (así que puedes usarlo con un blazer en la oficina) pero el estampado es divertido como para usar al salir con tus amigos. En este outfit quise mantener el look más casual y a-la-moda al combinarlo con un chaleco blanco; también escogí toques azules que contrastaran con el rosadito de los pantalones.  Este look fue parte de una colaboración con Gap Styld.by y me siento muy agradecida de la oportunidad. Espero que les haya gustado el look y las haya inspirado a intentar una combinación nueva. Abrazos!!

I found this look for a couple of week's ago- I wasn't sure wether to publish it or not. But whatever, it was one of those days that I didn't plan the look at all (I'm glad Gabo is always carrying his camera...just in case he sees something cool). There's something about the background I wasn't sure- that day the wind was crazy and this was the only alley that kinda worked. One of the things I love the most about the new place, it's that the metro it's right around the corner... so we can go to different areas, restaurants, and shops without having to drive (which is amazing if you hate driving as much as I do). Since I wanted to be comfortable walking around, my option was these wedge sneakers... plus a comfy dress that's actually long (I use a belt and fold it over- check it out as a maxi HERE)... plus a fun layer: a white vest. I hope you like this casual/improvised look! XOXO

Encontré este look de hace varias semanas que no estaba segura si publicar o no- fue uno de esos días super casuales y fue como "tomemos las fotos rapidito aquí" (menos mal que Gabo siempre tiene su cámara por si ve algo chevere). Pero hay algo del fondo que no me convence todavía...es definitivamente en el medio de "downtown" y tiene esa vibra....pero ese día había un viento terrible y en esta callejón fue el único que no salía el cabello volando. Una de las cosas que más me gusta de vivir del apartamento nuevo es que queda justo al lado de un metro y puedo moverme por todo el area... y de ahí nos podemos ir caminando a restaurantes, tiendas , y parques. Ese día quería estar cómoda: así que la opción perfecta fue usar los sneakers con plataforma, un vestido negro (que originalmente es largo- lo usé con el truco de doblarlo con un cinturón para que quede del largo que quieres...miralo como maxi AQUI), un chaleco blanco y una cartera con tachuelas. For a couple of months, I kept looking everywhere for the perfect white vest- I love this one because it looks like it's leather when it's actually regular fabric...making it even more versatile. I originally wanted to wear the gray shirt and vest with some leopard jeans and black shoes- but I ended up switching the leopard print on the shoes and some burgundy pants. I finished the look with gold accessories and a cool black and white necklace. I wore this last Saturday to go to a Puertorican restaurant with my parents and Gabo- the food was delicious... I forgot the name of the place. Then we headed home to decorate the house and get zombified for the birthday party. Hope you have an amazing day ! XOXO

Llevaba buscando un chaleco blanco desde hace varios meses; este me encantó porque parece ser de cuero cuando en realidad es de tela...lo que lo hace más versátil aún. Originalmente tenía en mente esta combinación  de camisa gris y chaleco blanco con pantalones de leopardo y zapatos negros- pero terminé intercambiando el estampado a los zapatos y agregando unos jeans color vino. Terminé el lok con accesorios dorados y un collar con bloques blancos/negros. Esto lo utilicé el fin de semana para ir a comer con mis papás y Gabo a un restaurante Puertoriqueño en Miami- idea de Gabo por supuesto, comimos riquísimo y seguimos a mi casa para decorarla y maquillarnos para mi fiesta de cumpleaños ZOMBIE. Espero que tengan un bonito día...gracias por pasar por aquí!!
