Ok girls! I asked in a recent post what you wanted to see and two things were clear:

I love leggings,  I think every woman does. They are comfortable, versatile, and if we could, we would wear them every day. Reason why I was so excited to find Yummie, a body positive brand that hopes women embrace their shape/curves. Besides having the cutest styles, Yummie leggings are very flattering by comfortable slimming around the tummy.

To combine fashion and comfort, I wasn’t sure if I should get the leggings in suede, denim, faux leather, with a mesh detail, or in VELVET. As you can see by the title, I picked the velvet pair. I think it was my inner- Nany loves Christmas which leads to a velvet obsession. This fabric is very elegant so it works from day to night; from running errands to a date. 

I've been a fan of TOUS since I was a little girl and I remember wanting everything with that cute bear. I've been honored to collaborate with this brand for the past three years and  I especially love how it continues to grow and evolve- how we all should continuously, no matter the industry we are in!

Today I want to talk to you about 5 accessories/jewelry trends for Fall 2017 that I'm excited to incorporate into my wardrobe and I'm actually wearing in these photos!

Creo que me enamoré de TOUS muy pequeña, cuando quería todo lo que tuviese esa hermosura de oso. Los últimos 3 años, he tenido el placer de trabajar con esta marca y compartir con ustedes las nuevas colecciones temporada tras temporada. Y me emociona mucho ver como sigue creciendo y evolucionando (¡como todos deberíamos hacer sin importar en que industria estemos!).

Hoy les quiero hablar de 5 tendencias de accesorios para este Otoño/Invierno que voy a estar incorporando en mi "klozet" y que estoy usando en estas fotos.

There's something about the Holidays that makes me want to dress up a little more. Six years ago, Gabo and I started dating... yeah just before Christmas. Since we are from different countries, it has always been a time where each one goes back home- we have never gotten the chance to spend Christmas together. However, that doesn't stop us to celebrate together; every year we go to a romantic dinner together before leaving Miami... this time I was definitely #dressedFor #romance). I wanted to wear this amazing A|X Armani Exchange black dress; the tulip shape is very flattering on every body and the velvet fabric makes it so elegant. To spice up the black dress, I added a blue/turquoise statement necklace, blue shoes, and a blue clutch. Finally, I added orange lipstick to contrast the blue tones of the outfit. Hay algo del espíritu navideño que no se... a mi personalmente me da ganas como de arreglarme un poquito más. Hace 6 años comencé a salir con Gaby, justo antes de Navidad- y siendo de diferentes países, es una época que no hemos tenido la oportunidad de pasar juntos. Así que cada año, antes de que cada uno viaje a encontrarse con su respectiva familia, compartimos en la última cena romántica del año ( #dressedFor #Romance). En esta ocasión, quise utilizar este vestido A|X Armani Exchange de terciopelo negro estilo tulipán- este modelo de vestidos arma muy bonito ya le da énfasis a tu cintura. Aunque es un vestido básico negro, la tela de terciopelo lo hace más elegante. Quise combinar el vestido con un collar con tonos turquesas/azules; y seguí con los tonos azules en los zapatos y la cartera. Finalmente quise utilizar una pintura de labios naranja, que es el color que contrasta más con el azul rey. Espero que les haya gustado este look romántico y perfecto para la época!

This look was actually from two wednesdays ago, I wore it to go to a bloggers breakfast with  Armani Exchange- I wasn't sure if I should publish it or retake the pics- that day I was extremely sick and I feel it shows a little on my face. I had so much fun since I got to meet and spend time with some Miami bloggers I didn't know as much. Also, we tried half of the store and we got to choose a piece to keep. I found the perfect leather sheath dress...as soon as I tried it on..I felt like it was made for me.  I talked with the AX team for a while and they shared how the brand is taking a trendy/modern direction- and I completely agree, there were so many on-trend pieces. Even though I took my camera with me, I always forget to change the lens ( I use one for the outfit pics that doesn't let you zoom in or out...so it's terrible for indoors since you have to be to far for the whole thing to fit). Este look es de hace dos miércoles que fui a un desayuno de blogueras con Armani Exchange- lo había guardado porque no estaba segura de las fotos, ese día estaba extremadamente enferma y siento que se nota en mi cara. Fue chevere porque fue un grupo de blogueras diferente; tuve la oportunidad de conocerlas mejor y compartir con ellas. También estuvimos probandonos muchísima ropa, y pude escoger un vestido espectacular de cuero (¿sabes cuando te pruebas algo y sientes que fue casi que hecho a tu medida!?). Estuvimos hablando con el equipo de AX y ellos nos cuentas que quieren cambiar un poquito la imagen de la marca- y tienen piezas muy en tendencia. Me llevé mi cámara al evento pero siempre se me olvida cambiar el lente (el que utilizo no tiene zoom in, para que se vea el fondo más borroso- entonces hay que alejarse mucho y no salen bien las fotos). Pero las invito a pasar por AX y se enamoren de muchas cositas. Abrazos grande!

This week's challenge was to be monochromatic... and it was one of the easiest one since you could play with things you had in your closet. This season I'm obsessed with the oxblood color- my closet has been filling up with it. So I knew it had to be my choice for the challenge- and I decided to go all the way with lipstick and matching nail-color. I started out with these amazing pants from H&M- I saw them at the grand-opening and they were the first thing I grabbed. I have actually worn them three times already- don't worry we took pics and you'll see the looks soon (maybe even tomorrow!). I paired the pants with this amazing peplum top and some burgundy heels (the heels are a little darker in person- the velvet looked a little red in pics).  I wore this last Monday, we decided to walk around the city- I love living Downtown... I can take the metro and walk around!  We ended up at a frozen yogurt place- apparently they have a special on Monday where you can eat everything you want for $5! what do you think of the monochromatic trend? El reto de la semana ser monocromática, es decir...utilizar el mismo color de pies a cabeza. Esta temporada, al igual que muchas, estoy obsesionada con el color vino (sin darme cuenta mi closet se ha llenado del mismo). Así que quise utilizar este color para el reto- incluyendo pintura de uñas y labial. Empecé con estos pantalones de H&M, que los compré en la inauguración del primer H&M en Miami- no me los he quitado, tengo otro look bastante monocromático con un suéter vino y otro más sencillo que probablemente verán mañana o pasado. Seguí el tono vino con esta camisa peplum, también de H&M- y terminé con unos zapatos de terciopelo vino (creo que al fotografiarse se ven más claros, como más rojos). El lunes estuvimos explorando un poquito la zona donde estoy viviendo ahora, no se si se han dado cuenta pero es más ciudad...y  podemos caminar y descubrir pequeños restaurantes. Ese día conseguimos un lugar de yogurt que en ciertos días de la semana puedes echarle todo lo que quieras por $5! ¿Qué les parece este look monocromático?
