Just by looking at these pictures you can tell how exhausted I was. I wore this right after my finals in school to go to film a segment for CNN in Spanish with L'Oreal and celebrity stylist, Marcos Carrasquillo. However, we didn't take the outfit pictures until the next day...when I was even more tired. I didn't go to sleep until very late because I was packing for NYC; then, I woke up at 4am to go model two more segments at Univision in a morning show. I got back home around 9am (ps, I'm not a morning person- I'm a night owl and I don't function until 11am) to help Gabo in a photoshoot for an accessory brand. I actually wore a similar version to work this week- minus the heels and the cap. I hope you have an amazing weekend! I'm so excited because my parents are coming tomorrow , I haven't seen them since Christmas!! XOXO

Veo estas fotos y siento que se nota lo cansada que estaba. Esto fue lo que usé justo después de mis exámenes finales para ir a filmar un segmento de TV para CNNE junto a L'Oreal y el estilista Marcos Carrasquillo. Pero estas fotos no las tomé hasta el dÃa siguiente, donde estaba aún más cansada porque después de estar en el salón de Marcos, estuve haciendo maleta hasta tarde. Luego me tuve que despertar a las 4 am para ir a dos segmentos más con Marcos en Univisón, y llegué a ayudar a Gabo en una sesión de fotos de accesorios y a terminar de hacer maleta. También usé una versión casi idéntica en Nueva York esta semana- solo que flats en vez de tacones porque en esta ciudad no se puede estar en tacones. Espero que tengan un feliz fin de semana!! Yo estoy super emocionada porque mis papás vienen a visitarme hoy viernes.... tengo desde Navidad que no los veo!! Un abrazo inmenso!
Tropical prints were all over the Spring/Summer 2012 runways- and I love them, it's a fun twist of the regular floral prints. As soon as I saw this one from LOVE .. I loved it (yes double love!)- since it's such a big statement, I kept the accessories to the minimal. I just added a pop of color with the bag, but since it's such a small purse, it really doesn't take away from the dress. As you have seen on the blog, I love wearing my classic black pumps; but I feel they can look too dressy. Reason why I got these wedges at Payless they are more casual, and SO comfortable (best part, they cost less than $30). I wore this on Friday to go to a salad/wrap restaurant, nothing special- we just wanted to go out and eat healthy. After that I headed to the mall to find neon accessories- I'm so excited because next week I'm doing my first official photo shoot as a stylist and the theme is neons! Los estampados tropicales fueron vistos en muchÃsimas pasarelas en la temporada Primavera-Verano 2012- a mi personalmente me encantan ya que no es el tÃpico estampado floral/primaveral... y este vestido de LOVE me fascinó!. Mi consejo es mantener los accesorios al mÃnimo, apenas estoy usando dos pulseritas delgadas y mis perlas de accesorio. Como han visto, utilizo mucho mis tacones negros- razón por la cual querÃa una versión más casual para todos los dÃas, por lo que finalmente encontré este par en Payless la semana pasada (les juro que son comodÃsimas, y solo cuestan $30!). Esto fue lo que utilicé el viernes para ir a comer con Gabo a un sitio de wraps, nada del otro mundo- querÃamos algo súper saludable. Después fui a dar una vuelta al centro comercial porque ando buscando accesorios neones para una sesión de fotos en la que soy la estilista! Espero que estén pasando un fin de semana lindÃsimo!
