Last Saturday I attended an event called "Trend Evolution" a close friend planned it...and I 'm so proud of her (she's also the owner of an accessory boutique called Vahife). The idea was to support new and creative artists.. ranging from designers, painters, entrepreneurs...and even  a cup-cake business. The best part was that some of the profit went to an AIDS organization. Also, Vahife is finally online...and there you can see my pictures "modeling" with a crazy amount of accessories. El sábado pasado fue el evento "Trend Evolution"- planeado por una gran amiga y dueña de la boutique de accesorios, Vahife Boutique. La idea era apoyar talento emergente en en moda, accesorios, fotografía, arte, etc. Cada compañía tenía su puestito donde tenían sus productos a la venta, y parte de la ganancia fue donada a una asociación de SIDA. Fue genial ver como todo se armó poco a poco... estoy full orgullosa de Valentina y todo lo que ha logrado. THE EVENT: TREND EVOLUTION

 Even though I take pictures of my outfits almost every day, I would never consider myself a model- first I need to grow like 20 cm. However, my close friend Valentina from Vahife Boutique asked me to model, along with Karina from Moda On The Rocks, for her new website (it'll be up next week.. so you are getting a special sneak peek that's why they are B&W). It was a great experience (and it was so much fun getting over the top hair and makeup). Now I see models differently... their job is a lot harder than it looks like.

If you live in Miami or in South Florida, here's an event you cannot miss. It's called TREND EVOLUTION- it's next Saturday, March 2nd from 5pm to 10pm at 500 Brickell Ave.  There will be a lot of new artists and talent....from fashion to art and photography (plus light bites and drinks!)
