We are almost in mid-November; and Miami's fall feels as far as possible- at least it's not that humid so we can pretend to wear some layers. Even though I complain a lot about Miami's tropical weather, I know some of you would love to still enjoy short-appropriate weather. This time I'm wearing a top, shorts, and shoes from Shop Exhale. This  company is based in Miami; they don't only have the coolest washed out shorts but they also put studs on converse shoes..I think it's the perfect touch to give an edge to a classic shoe. This look is perfect for a chill -summer- weekend with friends or family! XOXO

Estamos a mediados de noviembre y el otoño se siente lejos- al menos ya no está extremadamente húmedo. Por mucho de que me gustaría poder experimentar con capas...me encanta poder utilizar shorts todo el año. Esta vez estoy utilizando shorts, zapatos y camisa de Shop Exhale- una compañía en Miami que aparte de tener shorts y camisas super cool, ¡¡le ponen tachuelas a los converse!! Las tachuelas definitivamente le dan un toque especial a un zapato tan clásico pero cómodo. Este look es perfecto para un fin de semana relajado, cómodo, y cálido.

 Hey everyone! I feel like I haven't updated the blog in a while...but I hate making excuses for myself. I'm finally back in Miami and I couldn't be more excited. This is another of the looks I did as part of a collab with  Bululú- a venezuelan store that sells pieces from over 40 venezuelan designers....so yes, I'm wearing venezuelan pieces from head to toes. I realized that there's a big trend in Venezuela with these type of pants: palazzo and with fun prints. There are very easy to pair, they are also very versatile and flattering on different body types. This time I paired the pants with a simple sleeveless blouse (a must have piece in your closet)- I buttoned it up and added a gorgeous gold necklace. This look works especially to have dinner with your friends or family. I hope you liked it! XOXO

I haven't worn this black denim shorts with studs on the side as much as I'd like because they are extremely short. Reason why I have mostly worn them to the beach and with grungier looks. Let me know which look is your favorite. XOXO

Last week, I was the hostess of a fun Traffic event for Miami fashion bloggers- I'm also attaching the invite because I loved the final result. As you can see, it was inspired by "Breakfast at Tiffanys"... definitely a modern Audrey Hepburn. I had so much fun, I enjoy getting together with the amazing Miami bloggers and catch up... and what better way than trying on SHOES! It was an honor collaborating with Traffic because they have so many cute & affordable shoes- I think I didn't see a pair  over $35. For the event and the invitation shoot, I chose a pair of "heel-less" and studded shoes- definitely a statement, not something for everyday! As you can see, we had so much fun taking pictures with some "roman" props...yes swords included. I hope you like the pics! XOXO

La semana pasada tuve la oportunidad de ser la anfitriona de un evento de Traffic para blogueras de moda- llamado "Breakfast for Shoe-lovers" (les dejo abajo la invitación porque me encantó el resultado final. La inspiración fue Audrey Hepburn en Breakfast at Tiffanys). La pasé genial- me encanta reunirme con las blogueras de Miami y compartir con ellas... y que mejor manera que probándonos y escogiendo zapatos. Me gustó mucho colaborar con Traffic porque siempre les digo que no hay que gastar mucho para llevar las últimas tendencias- y todos los zapatos de Traffic cuestan alrededor de $30. Para el evento y sesión de fotos, escogí estos zapatos con tachas y "sin tacón"- muy llamativos y en tendencia. Como pueden ver, también disfrutamos mucho tomando fotos con espadas, escudos y toques "romanos". Espero que disfruten las fotos!

Today's is supposed to be "wednesday remix"- but I have so many look to post that I really don't want them to keep piling up (don't  worry, the next remix will be double....maybe a couple of tops/bottoms and all the ways I've worn them). Talking about post, I really want to do a Holiday special; so I need your help. I want to do several looks for several styles and different occasions/parties.... so tell me: what are you plans for this Holiday season? OK let's go back to this outfit. I want to wear this skirt all the time- I feel like it goes with everything but the faux leather gives any outfit an edgy/modern feel. This time I wanted to pair it with a top with an embellished peter-pan collar (so you don't need to accessorize in terms of earrings/necklaces). So I kept the look relatively simple- I say "relatively" because if you look closely, the shoes and handbag have sequins/studs. I wore this during the weekend to have an early romantic dinner with Gabo- I like that this look is very feminine but it still have an edge to it. I hope you are having an amazing week! XOXO

Se que hoy se supone que sea "Miércoles de Remix" pero no quiero que se sigan acumulando los looks- luego les hago un mega remix con varias piezas y todas las formas que las he usado (¿qué prefieren: camisas o faldas?). Ya que se acerca diciembre, quiero hacer un especial de Navidad/fiestas decembrinas... así que necesito la ayuda de todas: diganme que planes tienes!! (Así puedo hacer varios looks para ocasiones totalmente distintas). Ok, de regreso a este outfit... estoy segura que le voy a sacar tanto provecho a esta falda de "cuero"- me parece que va con absolutamente todo y por supuesto, el cuero la hace más moderna y divertida. En esta ocasión la quise combinar con una camisa con el cuello de peter pan embellecido- lo que hace que no necesites ningún accesorio extra. Así que mantuve el resto del look relativamente sencillo- digo "relativamente" porque aunque son piezas sencillas como zapatos negros y carterita negra, también tienen sus lentejuelas y detalles. Esto lo utilicé el fin de semana para ir a cenar temprano con Gabo- es un look que mezcla lo delicado/romántico con piezas fuertes como el cuero y las tachas. The past few days in Miami have being very windy... and even though for the rest of the world, this is still crazy summer, everyone feels like fall is slowly approaching. So here's what I wore for this week's challenge: Wear leather, I actually wore it a couple of time the past few days and you'll see another version on Tuesday. I wanted to wear this leather jacket with these fun snakeskin print jeans and a simple white tee. I added gold fun accessories to end the look. Since I was going for the rocker look with the straighter hair and everything, I wanted to wear a deep purple lipstick but mine weren't dark enough- so I added a little bit of black eyeliner! Los últimos días en Miami han estado bastante frescos... y aunque para el resto del mundo seguimos en temperaturas veraniegas, todo el mundo ha estado vistiéndose más otoñal. Así que aproveché para hacer el reto de la semana: usar cuero varias veces- originalmente mi outfit del reto lo verán esta semana  y luego les explicaré porque lo tuve que postponer. Ok, volviendo a este look:  quise usar mis pantalones con estampado de culebra con la chaqueta de cuero y una camisa básica blanca. Como era un look más rocker, quería usar una pintura de labios oscura, de un color parecido al de los pantalones...pero ningún color quedaba oscuro así que lo mezclé con un poquitico de delineador negro. Fue un día tranquilo, fuimos a pasear por el parque en frente de mi casa y a tomar merengadas.
