Yay wednesday remix is back this week- this time I'm wearing the same sheer skirt four different ways ( I actually wore it a fifth time for the H&M Miami grand opening, but I didn't take outfit pics... I'll retake them soon because I really liked the look). I feel like this skirt is perfect  for every style personality; the first one is kinda grunge, the second one comfy/casual, the third one elegant/glamorous, and the last one is a little rocker. Regresamos con los miércoles de remix- esta vez les muestro 4 maneras como he utilizado esta falda un poco transparentosa (aunque tengo una quinta que utilicé para la apertura de H&M que no pude tomarle fotos). Siento que esta falda es perfecta para todas, sin importar tu estilo; el primer look es como grunge, el segundo casual, el tercero elegante/glamoroso y el último rocker.  ¿Cuál es tu favorito?

As I've said multiple times, I don't really get dressed for pictures- it's the other way around, I sneak the pics into my everyday life. However, Gabo and I don't have class/work on Mondays...and instead of staying in my pjs all day, I came up with the idea to do a couple of looks, for different styles and different types of Holiday parties.  You have seen this sheer skirt a couple of times in the blog, I absolutely love it...you can dress it down or make it very glam like in these pics. Also, there's something I really like about mixing gold/black, it looks luxurious. I'm sure many of you saw the resemblance of the  "bonjour" belt to the classic "Moschino" one- but I think is more fun and it's not so "let me spell it to you...I'm wearing a designer belt". I love statement necklaces for night-outs and parties, but it was enough with the sequined crosses on the shirt- since I had my hair up, the perfect solution was a pair of statement earrings (these used to be my mom's, from the 80s... and yes, they are clip-ons. Gabo was making fun of me because they are "grandma" earrings- which it's funny because it's true, my mom will be a grandmother next year...and I'll be the coolest aunt ever!). To finish to "gold theme" I added these shiny leopard pumps. What do you think of this look? Would you wear anything like this during the Holiday season? XOXO

Como les he mencionado no soy de las que se visten solo para tomar fotos- al contrario, tomo fotos para documentar mi estilo día a día.  Pero ya que Navidad están tan cerca, quería hacer varios looks para darles ideas de que se pueden poner en estas fiestas decembrinas,  looks más arregladitos que lo que están acostumbradas a ver en el blog. Los lunes, ni Gabo ni yo tenemos clases, entonces quisimos aprovechar y desarollar esta idea de "¿Qué me pongo en Navidad?. Esta falda me la han visto usar en el día a día muchísimo, y me encanta como se puede transformar en una falda de fiesta con las piezas adecuadas- aparte que hay algo tan elegante en la mezcla de negro/dorado. El cinturón de "Bonjour" es muy similar al Moschino- excepto que es más divertido, y por supuesto económico- y sin deletrearle a todo el mundo que estás usando un cinturón de marca. Como la camisa tenía las crucesitas de lentejuelas, no quise agregarle ningún collar- pero me pareció genial agregarle estos zarcillos/aretes vintage, erán de mi mamá (Si si, son de clip  y Gabo se estaba burlando de mi porque son de abuelita. Lo que aparentemente es totalmente cierto- mi mamá va a ser abuela el próximo año... y yo tía!). Finalmente, para ser en el look dorado, agregué los zapatos de leopardo. ¿Qué les parece esta opción para alguna de las fiestas decembrinas?. Espero que les haya gustado! Abrazos grandísimos!

I feel like lately I've been wearing a "rocker" outfit one day and the next day a super girly bright one- so following the pattern, it was time for a darker look.... I hope you don't mind my bipolarness!. Like I've been saying, I spent 5 days moving to a new place and it was crazy- I finally slept in for the first time yesterday. However, I have to admit I got very emotional when closing the door of the apartment I lived for 6 years. So many memories came to my mind; I started my independent college life there, so many fun moments... when I look back I can't believe how much I've grown. But I'm ready for this new stage in my life and I'm glad I'll be able to share it with all of you. About my outfit: these were some of the last pieces I had in my closet so I decided to mix and match them - this skirt is so versatile and I really how it looks with the moto vest and a band tee. Btw, I'm selling these shoes my little threadflip shop- they are in great condition! Hope you liked it! XOXO

Siento que he estado un día un "rocker", un día super femenina, un día "rocker"... y así sucesivamente- así que hoy definitivamente tocaba un look más rockerito...espero que no les moleste esta bipolaridad que tengo. Como les conté, este fin de semana me estuve mudando y fue una locura-. Ayer dormí en el apartamento por primera vez y estoy extremadamente contenta- solo faltan algunos detallitos como guindar unos cuadros y fotos. También les tengo que admitir que me dio mucha nostalgia dejar el apartamento donde viví los últimos 6 años- cuando estaba cerrando la puerta, tantos recuerdos pasaron por mi mente... ahí empecé mi vida universitaria y profesional, tantos momentos. Pero estoy lista para esta nueva etapa y muy emocionada de compartirla con ustedes. Sobre mi outfit: quería mostrar la versatilidad de esta falda usandola con una camiseta y un chaleco de "cuero". Y los zapatos los estoy vendiendo en Threadflip y están como nuevos! Espero que les haya gustado este look!
