Today's is supposed to be "wednesday remix"- but I have so many look to post that I really don't want them to keep piling up (don't worry, the next remix will be double....maybe a couple of tops/bottoms and all the ways I've worn them). Talking about post, I really want to do a Holiday special; so I need your help. I want to do several looks for several styles and different occasions/parties.... so tell me: what are you plans for this Holiday season? OK let's go back to this outfit. I want to wear this skirt all the time- I feel like it goes with everything but the faux leather gives any outfit an edgy/modern feel. This time I wanted to pair it with a top with an embellished peter-pan collar (so you don't need to accessorize in terms of earrings/necklaces). So I kept the look relatively simple- I say "relatively" because if you look closely, the shoes and handbag have sequins/studs. I wore this during the weekend to have an early romantic dinner with Gabo- I like that this look is very feminine but it still have an edge to it. I hope you are having an amazing week! XOXO

Se que hoy se supone que sea "Miércoles de Remix" pero no quiero que se sigan acumulando los looks- luego les hago un mega remix con varias piezas y todas las formas que las he usado (¿qué prefieren: camisas o faldas?). Ya que se acerca diciembre, quiero hacer un especial de Navidad/fiestas decembrinas... así que necesito la ayuda de todas: diganme que planes tienes!! (Así puedo hacer varios looks para ocasiones totalmente distintas). Ok, de regreso a este outfit... estoy segura que le voy a sacar tanto provecho a esta falda de "cuero"- me parece que va con absolutamente todo y por supuesto, el cuero la hace más moderna y divertida. En esta ocasión la quise combinar con una camisa con el cuello de peter pan embellecido- lo que hace que no necesites ningún accesorio extra. Así que mantuve el resto del look relativamente sencillo- digo "relativamente" porque aunque son piezas sencillas como zapatos negros y carterita negra, también tienen sus lentejuelas y detalles. Esto lo utilicé el fin de semana para ir a cenar temprano con Gabo- es un look que mezcla lo delicado/romántico con piezas fuertes como el cuero y las tachas. First of all, I completely admit this look was inspired by Anabelle from Viva Luxury. As a fashion blogger and blogger addict, I spent A LOT of time on bloglovin and lookbook.nu- and I take a lot of inspiration from there (the important thing is making it your own!). As soon as I saw this look from Anabelle, I saved it since I had very similar pieces in my closet and I loved how the casual neon shorts look more polished when paired with a classic and structured blazer (and I'm obsessed with the round sunnies..they totally complete the look). I wore this during the weekend to a restaurant for one of my best friend's birthday- I was the only girl there but I love it.. I think I get along better with guys- they always end up telling the craziest stories and they think I'm one of the "boys". I hope you are having an amazing week! XOXO

Empiezo aclarando algo: este look fue inspirado por Anabelle de Viva Luxury. Como buena blogger, paso bastante tiempo viendo otros blogs de moda- y como todas ustedes, tomo inspiración de todos lados...así sea en una revista o en otro blog- lo importante es que siempre le des tu toque personal. Apenas vi este look de Anabelle hace unas semanas dije "tengo piezas casi idénticas a este look!" y me encantó como se ve el short de neón con el toque más formal del blazer (y amo como se ve con estos lentes redondos, siento que completan el look). Esto fue lo que utilicé para ir a cenar con un grupo de amigos por el cumpleaños de uno de ellos. Era la única mujer entre un grupo de hombres, pero son mis mejores amigos desde hace años y los adoro! Siempre me he llevado mejor con los hombres, me agarran tanta confianza que creo que piensan que soy otro niñito más. ¡Espero que esten pasando una bonita semana! Un abrazo inmenso a todas!

This is my first outfit post from... CARACAS, VENEZUELA! I think I have already mentioned I had to come last minute because I wasn't feeling well- and it's always easier to go to the doctor in your hometown. Even though I spent two days at the doctor doing a variety of tests- everything is okay, nothing to worry about. The big conclusion: I need to eat better and exercise more! I wore this a week ago to the clinic- with loafers and a big bag to carry a book to read while waiting. But I got out earlier than I thought and I changed to wedges and a dressier bag to eat with my family. About my outfit: actually it looks very "4th of July and Independence Day" because of the colors and stars. However, I didn't plan it at all- even though I love Miami and I have been living there for 6 years, my flag will always be "yellow, blue, and red". I wanted to wear the star printed blouse with the bright blue pants, and I added the belt for an extra pop of color (it could have been green, yellow, or purple). I hope you liked it! Mi primer post desde... CARACAS! Creo que ya les había mencionado que estaba en Venezuela- vine porque no me había estado sintiendo muy bien y uno siempre se siente más cómodo yendo a doctores y eso en la ciudad donde creciste. Les cuento que todo salió bien, nada de que preocuparse- estuve dos días completos en la clínica haciendo bastantes exámenes y la gran conclusión... tengo que comer saludable y hacer ejercicio. Esto fue lo que utilicé el primer día de examenes- solo que en la clínica tenía mis loafers negros y una cartera grande. Fue más rápido de lo que pensabamos, entonces fui a comer con mi familia y quise cambiarme los tacones y la carterita para verme más arregladita. Sobre mi outfit: se puede decir que coincidió con el "4 de julio, independencia de EEUU" y los colores de la bandera (y aunque tenga 6 años viviendo en Miami...mi bandera es amarilla, azul, y roja :) ). De verdad que fue de casualidad; tenía esta camisa de estrellitas y quise usarla con mis jeans azules, y agregar un toque de color en el cinturón (que pudo haber sido de cualquier otro color, como verde o amarillo). Espero que les haya gustado este look y mil gracias a mi mamá por ser mi fotógrafa!!

Les tengo que admitir que este reto me costó muchísimo- tengo varias piezas con lentejuelas... incluyendo este vestido vintage de lentejuelas plateadas que use en los Latin Billboards 2011, y esta camisa de lentejuelas bronce. Quería usar una falda que todavía no me he puesto en el blog, pero todos los looks eran muy de noche y no me sentía cómoda. Así que me fui por una propuesta en la que incorporo las lentejuelas solo en la cartera- y los pantalones de flores le dan ese toque primaveral. Como los pantalones son tan llamativos (¿no les parece el estampado bellísimo?? Es una buena opción para todas aquellas que no pudimos encontrar los de H&M); los combiné con piezas sencillas y de colores neutrales, y pocos accesorios. Este peinado va a ser mi mejor aliado este verano- la humedad esta horrible en Miami, me peino y al salir...parezco un león con frizz. Esto fue lo que utilicé el Día de las Madres- y aunque mi mamá no estaba en Miami, igual salí a con Gabo para "celebrar". Hey girls! I swear I've been looking for months for the perfect pair of floral pants- until I found these for $20 at 2020 Ave. At first, I felt in love with the H&M ones that a lot of bloggers have- but the closest H&M is more than 1 hour away, so it was sold out even before I could try finding it. Then, I checked out Zara- but the prints didn't convince me.. and the price was a little over my budget for a trendy piece. The best part about this pair is that the gray+white combo makes it less risky and wearable. Since I was only going to have an early dinner with Gabo, I kept the look very simple with a black tee and fun red pumps (with red lips and red nails!). Do you like floral pants? What about these? Hola a todas! Les juro que estuve buscando meses por el par perfecto de pantalones floreados- me enamoré de los de H&M que tienen muchas, pero el H&M más cercano a Miami queda a una hora y media y se agotaron antes de que pudiera buscarlos. Luego vi bastantes en Zara, pero había algo que no me convencía del estampado. En 2020 Ave tienen estos que, como pueden ver es un estampado floral en grises ( una opción menos arriesgada pero igual de "a la moda".. y lo mejor de todo es que solo cuestan $20). Ya que solo salí a la cita semanal de sushi con Gabo, quise mantener el look casual con una camisa negra sencilla- y le agregué un poco de color con mis zapatos rojos, y uñas + un labial del mismo color. ¿Qué opinan de los pantalones floreados? Un abrazo inmenso... FELIZ FIN DE SEMANA!

This was actually the 1st pictures we took in Miami after my holiday trip to Venezuela and Europe- my bf got upset because I kept complaining on the picture quality (if you look closely, the are not as sharp as the rest of the posts). After changing the lens many times, we realized something was wrong with his camera and he sent it to Canon so they can fix it. Reason why we have been taking them lately with my camera (which I LOVE and a lot people ask me what model it is- Canon Rebel T3i and I use the 50 mm 1.8F lens for those wondering :) ) Back to the outfit, I had been waiting for this bag for a couple of weeks and I was so excited when it got home that I couldn't wait to wear it- it's the perfect size/shape.. and I adore the sequins). This time I paired with simple pieces that equal a super glam outfit and I really like that it is a versatile look that you can wear to a lot of different occasions (like going out with your friends, change the leather pants for black business pants and you are ready to work). I actually wore it to go out with my boyfriend and have sushi (it's like our thing, we are addicted to it).
