You know that I absolutely love wearing casual/comfy outfits, but I also enjoy getting dress a little extra...especially when it comes to going out to dinner with my boyfriend every week. The best part is that the time changed and now I have an extra hour to take pictures before the sun goes down. About the outfit: you all know I love A-style high waisted mini skirts; they make your waist look smaller (and if you have big hips, they are very flattering too). I don't only like the silhouette but also that it is made of faux-leather in beige (it's still versatile enough to pair it with a lot of things, but it's also more fun that the classic black skirt). This time I paired it with a lace shirt, nude pumps,and gold accents...making it almost a monochromatic outfit. Hope you liked it! XOXO

Ustedes saben que por mucho que adoro un outfit casual y cómodo, me encanta arreglarme un poquito extra para ir a cenar con mi novio todas las semanas. Esto lo utilicé el fin de semana pasado para ir a cenar con Gabo a un restaurante lindísimo (por cierto, menos mal que la hora cambió: ahora tengo hasta las 7:30 para tomar fotitos con sol!). En cuanto al outfit: saben que me fascinan las faldas cortitas en A a la cintura (ayudan a crear una cintura más pequeña visualmente, y si eres de caderas anchas también las disimula). Y esta no solo es del estilo que me encanta, es de un "cuero" beige...lo suficientemente neutral para que combine con muchas cosas pero tampoco es la clásica negra, es más divertida. La quise combinar con una camisa de encaje y tonos neutrales- casi convirtiendo el outfit en un look monocromático. Espero que les haya gustado! ¡Un abrazotote!!

 Today's is one of those looks that "since it wasn't photographed, I'll just wear it again". I wore an almost identical outfit (with a lot more layers) during my stay in New York for a day with Pavan ** you can see all the pics of that day HERE**. But Gabo came back to Miami before me, and it was a crazy day with no time for bothering people for outfit pics. Solution: rewear it since nobody has seen it! I made it more "Miami appropriate" even though it was freezing this weekend in Miami. But let's talk about my favorite part of this outfit: THE SHOES! I've been looking for a pair like this for so long, and  they are even better than I imagined. I got them at Shoedazzle. Este es uno de esos looks que "como no salió en el blog, me lo pongo otra vez". Durante mi estadía en Nueva York utilicé un look muy similar a este- más medias pantys y chaqueta de invierno encima- para un día con Pavan**pueden ver fotos de ese día acá**. Pero Gabo se tuvo que ir antes... y de verdad que admiro a las blogueras que se toman fotos con un trípode. Así que quise volver a utilizar el look mucho más "Miami" durante el fin de semana...que por cierto hizo un frío increíble. Hablando del outfit: estoy enamorada de estos zapatos de Shoedazzle. Tenía tiempo buscando unos de este modelo y estos son exactamente lo que quería y más. Ahora tengo que ponerme  a revisar mi closet porque los "Premios Lo Nuestro" son esta noche y no tengo idea que ponerme. Un abrazo grandísimo!!!

It's time for a WEDNESDAY REMIX!! I have a slight obsession with this skirt; I want to wear it with absolutely everything. As I've mentioned before, I have even worn it more frequently that it was appeared on the blog. One of those times, I wore it with a long-sleeved black blouse for a dinner with friends. I love the pleather texture of the skirt...and the color! This color can be worn with neutral colors (black, white, gray, & beige), with prints (stripes, polka dots, animal print, floral, etc) and with different textures (from lace to denim... and well I broke the rule of leather+leather in look #1). ¡¡Hora de Miércoles de Remix!! Mi obsesión con esta falda no es normal; me la quiero poner con todo. Como les mencioné anteriormente, la he utilizado hasta más de lo que ha salido en el blog- incluyendo una vez con una blusa negra manga larga para una cena con mis amigas que no pude fotografiar. Este color lo puedes utilizar con colores neutrales (como negro, blanco, gris, y crema), con estampados (flores, rayas, lunares, leopardo, etc), con diferentes texturas (mezclilla/encaje..hasta me atreví a hacer un poco de "cuero con cuero" en el #1). Sé que no es la última vez que verán la falda en el blog.... si les gusta, todavía esta a la venta en Romwe por $37.

After so many beach looks from Aruba... here's my first look in Miami. The city has been "hot" in comparison to the rest of the North Hemisphere . However, I'm very used to the hot weather- so any little breeze makes me want to pull out sweater and boots. I wore this for my first day of school and then to go out and eat with Gabo. I ended up running around like crazy at the University; the good news is that I only have 3 classes and I have a lot of time to make the blog better. And the bad, but still good, news is that I had to postpone my internship... but I might do it in NYC (crossing fingers). I'm very excited to graduate in June!! Since this was my first look in Miami, I really wanted Chiki to be with me in the pics ( I missed him sooo much). Hope you like them! XOXO

Después de tantos looks playeros...ya les traigo el primer look desde mi llegada a Miami. La ciudad ha estado calurosa en comparación al resto de Hemisferio Norte. Para mi, que nací, crecí y estoy acostumbrada al calor, cualquier viento se siente bastante fresco. Así que quise utilizar este look para ir al primer día de la universidad- en el cual terminé haciendo millones de diligencias ( el suéter fue perfecto ya que siempre tienen el aire acondicionado a millón ahí).  Las buenas noticias es que tengo pocas clases este semestre y tengo tiempo para hacer videos/ir a más eventos/ y dedicarme mucho al blog. La mala pero buena noticia es que tuve que posponer mi pasantía...y quiero irme a Nueva York en Abril para hacerla allá -- ya veremos que pasa...cruzando deditos. Ya que estoy de regreso, quise que en este look saliera Chiqui, mi perrito, al cual extrañe como nunca estas vacaciones. ¡¡Espero que les gusten las fotos! Un abrazo grandísimo!!
