Okay so before sharing all the fun things we did in Texas,...I want to share some of my looks there! After a full day of working, we went to the hotel to change . Since the plan was to explore, I put on my white sneakers (super on trend, of course haha..but mainly because they are so comfortable). Our first stop was this cool wall that says "Greetings from Austin, Texas". Then we went for cupcakes and we had a sushi double date to celebrate my birthday! Hope you like the look! XOXO

Este fue otro de mis looks en Austin...querÃamos pasear y conocer un poquito más de la ciudad- por eso me puse cómoda en mis zapatos de goma blancos...y nos fuimos a explorar. Fuimos a una de las famosas paredes de graffiti de Austin que dice "Greetings from Austin, Texas". Pronto les cuento más de lo que estuvimos haciendo como tal...mientras les muestro el look :) Cuéntenme que les pareció! ¡Un abrazo!
I have a weakness for black jeans…I think they are dressier, more versatile, and even more flattering than a regular pair of blue jeans. I also think they add a touch of coolness to any outfit…and what if I they are ripped or distressed? Even better…I feel like a rockstar or a petite model off-duty (it’s all about the attitude, right?)!
Black ripped jeans are a must-have for this coming Fall. They go hand in-hand with plaid, leather jackets, chunky knits, etc. This pair from Express is my new favorite; they are a little high-waisted and extremely comfortable. I paired the jeans with this black tee from the new Express One Eleven collection. I especially love the back of it…but the best part? The bralette underneath!! Express has the coolest bralettes for shirts with cool backs or cut-outs. I have to admit I got several styles, including this one with straps on the back and another one that’s a racerback with a strappy side. Final touch? A B&W plaid and some mules!

Este otoño no pueden faltar jeans rotos de color negro en tu guardarropa. Van genial con el estampado de tartán, las chaquetas de cuero y suéteres. Estos de Express son mis nuevos favoritos...son un poco a la cintura y extremadamente c´modos. Los combiné con una camisa negra de la nueva colección Express One Eleven para un look "total black". La camisa es sencilla por delante pero por detrás tiene la espalda al aire...por esta razón agregué un barrilete de tiritas que le da un toque super divertido. Toque final? Una camisa de cuadritos (un par de tallas más grande para un look "oversized" y unas sandalias altas.

The 70s vibe ruled the runways in all Spring/Summer 2015 runway shows…bringing back flare jeans!! Honestly, I was a little tired on seeing skinny jeans anywhere and everywhere. Don’t get me wrong, I love my skinnies but also love being able to play with different styles!
I was very excited to find this pair at Express. The wash is extremely versatile, I love the buttons (and don’t worry it has a side zipper so no need to unbutton and button them up every time!), and they look so chic and on trend!
Did I mention this style of jeans is also very flattering? It balances out your figure, and if there are high-rise + you wear them with high heels: HELLO long legs! If you are petite, like me, you know how exciting that is! (but make sure to take them to the tailor if they are too long….I remember how I used to drag my wide jeans on the floor in the early 00s- not cool Daniela, not cool!).
This time I went for a simple look by just adding a white tee from Express’ new collection One Eleven…which you are going to see A LOT- the fabric is so soft and it’s perfect for layering! Final touches: a hat, a fringe mini bag, and gold accessories…perfect laid back look for the weekend!
So dish your skinny jeans…and let’s bring back the flared jeans!
