A mi me gusta tener un pequeño recordatorio en mi muñeca...como este reloj Movado de la nueva colección Edge. Es super elegante pero al mismo tiempo va con todo...moderno, edgy y minimalista...todo al mismo tiempo!

Pero no crean que hay días en que no quisiese una hora extra...pero en vez de desearlo...vivamos la vida al máximo! Soltemos el teléfono de vez en cuando, y tengamos conversaciones sobre la vida, las metas, y los sueños...

I went to Vegas for the first time last November for the Latin Grammys. Since then, my dad had been wanting to go for ages…so my grad school graduation seemed like the perfect excuse to go. What we didn't imagine was how hot it would be! We thought it was going to be like Miami but it was WAY hotter (and we actually missed the humidity!). We just went for a couple of days because of Gaby's job but we got to see a lot…we even went to the Grand Canyon as seen in earlier posts. I took this two piece set I have worn recently…but I wore it with sandals instead of heels and with my hair in a braid (because wearing my hair down was not an option in that heat). I added a pop of color with the red lip and my favorite cat eye sunglasses. Have an amazing day!! XOXO

La única vez que había estado en Las Vegas fue para los Grammy Latinos en noviembre…desde hace meses mis papás tenían muchas ganas de ir, así que mi graduación del postgrado fue la excusa perfecta para ir. Por el trabajo de Gaby solo fuimos de viernes (tempranito) al red-eye del lunes. Pero aprovechamos al máximo. Una de las cosas que más nos impresionó fue el calor…jamás nos esperábamos esas temperaturas (y cero humedad!!). Me llevé este set de dos piezas que ya han visto pero esta vez lo combiné con unas sandalias plateadas (ya que íbamos a estar caminando muchísimo) y con una trenza (porque eso de andar con el cabello suelto no era una opción). Le dí un toque de color con el labial y mis lentes de gato (que me encantan!!!).  Les mando un abrazo grandísimo!!!

One of the reasons why we loved Dallas so much had to do with the fact that we had the best tour guides: Ashley fromAshes into Fashion and her husband Daniel. They really showed us around and we got to see a lot of touristy stuff but also what locals do. Ashley and i wanted to do an outfit post together…but we never planned anything! However we were a little matching the second day…so why not?  i really love how the pictures turned out! We wore this to go to a mexican marketplace where we got tons of Mexican candy and then to go to a mall. Since none of us are party people we headed to the instead. We watched "Age of Adeline"…i'm still not sure if i liked it or not! Have you watched that movie? What were your thoughts?

Creo que una de las razones por las que nos encantó Dallas fue por Ashley de Ashes into Fashion y su esposo Daniel- quienes fueron nuestro guías turísticos. Nos pasearon por toda la ciudad y la pasamos increíble. Ashley y yo habíamos hablado de tomar unas fotos juntas pero nunca planeamos nada…esto fue requete improvisado pero a mi me encanta como quedaron las fotos y se puede decir que combinábamos. Esto lo utilizamos para ir a un mercado Mexicano donde compramos muchos dulces y después para ir a un mall grandísimo donde terminamos yendo al cine. Vimos "Age of Adeline"- yo todavía no se si me gustó o no jajaja. ¿La vieron? ¿Qué les pareció?

Like I shared on the previous post, this Easter weekend we headed to St Augustine. Lately we really want to travel more and get to actually see the world. I feel that we are very lucky because we can work from anywhere (thankfully the blog has become our job and we even believe it will enrich the blog too). We want to start with shorter road trips around Florida, and then we really want to do a coast to coast road trip (especially focusing on smaller towns rather than big cities). So our first destination was the oldest town in the U.S and on our second day we headed to "El castillo de San Marcos" (which looks a lot like Puerto Rico's El Morro..which is one of my favorite places ever!). Como les conté, este fin de semana nos fuimos a San Agustín. Ultimamente tenemos muchas ganas de viajar y de conocer el mundo. Nos sentimos muy afortunados porque nuestro trabajo (que gracias a Dios, el blog se ha convertido en nuestro trabajo) lo podemos hacer desde donde sea y no queremos atarnos a un sitio (aunque a mi me encanta Miami y me parece el sitio indicado por su comunidad bilingüe). Queremos empezar por Florida, ir en carro a diferentes ciudades e ir documentando lo que hemos visto en el blog. Así que nuestro primer destino fue la ciudad más antigua de Estados Unidos. El segundo dia fuimos al Castillo de San Marcos (el cual nos recordó a un Morro pequeño…el Morro me encanta así que no pudo decir mucho al respecto jajaja). Aquí les dejo muchas fotos del castillo. Para pasear utilicé una braga negra y unos zapatos cómodos color plateado. Feliz semana para tos@s! XOXO

Hey girls! I need to stop with the excuses but I went to New York this weekend to do a fun video with GUESS! (if you follow me on Instagram you probably saw my awesome co-stars: Luanna from le Happy, Lo Bosworth, and Marianna Hewitt!). I arrived so tired in Miami and I don't officially finish class until next Sunday..so almost there! Many of you don't know but Gabe takes all my pictures and he is working until 9pm most of the days. We used to have every day every week…but now we have been struggling a little to create all the content we want to!

Let's see…about this looks! First, get ready because you can win the bag I'm wearing in this post! Also I want to tell you about my big purchase: these Manolos <3 <3 Last year I decided I was going to save up to gift myself a nice bag on my birthdays and a nice pair of shoes for Christmas. So the condition is to sell on Poshmark..and the more I get "rid" of things, the more space there is for a nice something-something! I couldn't decide what shoes to get this Xmas and I finally chose them (well, after some serious talks with Adriana Castro and Flor de Maria Fashion..who both have tons of designer shoes and they were giving me advice on what to invest in). I went for a classic classic pair of black pumps! I have to admit I was tempted by the Valentino Rockstuds but I'm scared to spend that amount of money on something that will be out of fashion very soon. What do you think? did I make the right choice?

¡HOLA!! No me he olvidado de ustedes…este fin estuve en Nueva York grabando un video con Guess (y Luanna Perez, Lo Bosworth y Marianna Hewitt…pasen por mi Instagram que hay fotitos con ellas!). Llegué a Miami un poco cansada y por eso no he actualizado el blog; pero ya que termine oficialmente las clases la semana que viene, todo va a regresar relativamente a la normalidad. No se si les llegué a contar, pero Gabo esta trabajando casi todos los días hasta las 9pm así que tenemos menos tiempo de lo que teníamos antes para los looks.

A ver que les puedo contar de este look. Estén pendientes en mi IG mañana Lunes (@Nanysklozet) porque voy a estar rifando varias carteras como la que llevo en este look. También les quería contar de esta gran adquisición: mis Manolos! En mi cumpleaños pasado decidí que cada cumpleaños iba a ahorrar todo el año para regalarme una cartera buena, y cada Navidad unos zapatos buenos. Hice lo mismo, vendí muchas cositas en Poshmark y ahorré para comprarme estos zapatos (que en teoría me los debí haber comprado en Navidad…pero no lograba decidirme que zapatos comprar). Después de hablar con varias amigas..entre ellas Flor de María Fashion y Adriana Castro; me fui por un par clásico que puedo utilizar con todo y para todo… ¿qué les parecen?! En un momento quise comprarme los Valentino Rockstud pero eran el doble de caros y me da miedito que las tachuelas pasen de moda pronto.

The Gingham print was seen all over the runway shows for Spring/Summer 2015. It used to be a boring grandma-type of print…but not any more. To make it modern and fresh, wear it on fun pieces like romper, flirty dresses, or two-pieces. Even though this is one of the main prints for Spring…we are still in a transitional time- reason why I paired it with over the knee boots and a faux leather vest. I'm sure I will wear it later on with flat sandals and a fedora to go to the beach.

An update on my thesis: I finally started my presentation and I'm feeling motivated. I can't wait to finally close this chapter of my life and start working on tons of projects and professional goals I've made! OXOX

Ahhhh I'm supposed to turn in the written part of my thesis in two days and I still have things to do…so this one is going to be very short #verystressed. However, I enjoy the whole blog thing so much that it is a way to get a way for a little bit and forget about my masters. Ahhhh se supone que en dos días entrego al tesis y todavía me faltan cositas por hacer. Pero disfruto tanto el blog que es como una manera de despejarme un ratito. Hoy les muestro un look simple y una opción cómoda para los fines de semana…ya hay visto versiones bastantes parecidas a este look un par de veces, pero es que nunca falla. No me puedo "despejar" por tanto tiempo así que me despido y deseenme suerte!!! BESOS!
