This looks makes me go a little edgier. Because of the babydoll shape, I love how it looks with high high socks or boots. On the first look I put a belt on it to make it more A-shaped. It's great with jackets...either jean or leather...but you tell me..

Como pueden ver, con este vestido mi estilo es un poco más edgy. Como es sueltito, me parece que va perfecto con medias/botas a la rodilla. También va perfecto con chaquetas..así sean de jean o de cuero. Y aparentemente también he experimentado con peinados y extensiones al usar este vestido. ¡¡Cuéntame que look es tu favorito!!

The best formula for those days you want to look dressy without over thinking what to wear is : cute dress + killer heels + small bag. I really liked this dress because I saw myself wearing it in multiple occasions; it's perfect for a date night but also cool enough to wear with your friends…and it's even appropriate for a lunch with the in-laws! I'm "terrible" at accessorizing lace…especially when it is as pretty as this lace. I feel like lace doesn't need a lot of accessories, I always let that fabric speak for itself. I wore this for an event but I ended up changing …so if you see me wearing this around, pretend you didn't see it on the blog! XOXO

Para esos días que tienes algo especial pero no tienes ganas de pensar que ponerte esta combinación de vestido + tacones + carterita nunca falla. A mi no me gusta ponerle mucho accesorios a las piezas de encaje porque me gusta lo delicadas que son, y siento que no necesitan mucho. Este tipo de vestido también sacan de muchos apuros ya que puedes usarlos tanto para salir con tus amigas, en una cita con tu chico…¡ y hasta para visitar a los suegros! Esto me lo iba a poner el otro día para un evento pero tengo que admitir que me arrepentí y terminé cambiándome…así que si me ven con esto puesto, hagan como si nunca lo hubiesen visto jaja. ¡BESOS!

I'm a 90s kid…I love 90s fashion- I guess it's a way of being reminiscent of our childhood. I have two older brothers who were teens in the 90s and I wanted to dress like their friends and like the girls on the shows they watched or like the girls on the bands they listened to.

Having magic powers was one of those things I wished for every single day. My favorite show was (which I still watch on Hulu) Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Also, I would watch "The Craft" on TV every time it was on…a this movie was exactly the inspiration behind this look- yeap because of the baby doll dress, the choker, the knee socks, the dark lips…everything screams The Craft <3

Los 90s me recuerdan a mi niñez. Siempre me ha encantado la moda de los 90s- tal vez porque me pongo sentimental recordando lo simple que era todo (¡cuando éramos felices y no lo sabíamos). Yo tengo dos hermanos mucho mayores que eran adolescentes en los noventas;  y eso hizo que me creyera grande desde pequeñita. Quería ponerme lo que sus amigas usaban, escuchar la música que ellos oían, ver los shows de Televisión que ellos veía.

De chiquita soñaba con despertarme un día y poder hacer magia. Mi show de televisión favorito era (y que todavía me encanta porque lo veo en Hulu) Sabrina La Bruja Adolescente. También me encantaba ver "Jovenes y Brujas"…que aparte me enseño que todo lo que uno hace en la vida, sea magia o no /sea bueno o malo, se devuelve 3 veces (karma!). Este look definitivamente está inspirado en esta película- me imagino a cualquiera de los personajes principales utilizando este look. Espero que les haya gustado! BESOS>

Before writing this little paragraphs, I always find the links where you can find what I'm wearing. I started with the skirt and....the model is wearing the exact same way, with a long-sleeved crop top. I swear it wasn't on purpose- it might have been because the styling on the model or on mannequins at the store are the first idea we get on how to wear something (and I guess it stuck in my mind). I wore this two Saturdays ago to help Gabo at a photoshoot with the sister of one of our best friends. It was so much fun, she's amazing and their family was there..so I had a blast. Since we were on Lincoln Road, a street full of restaurants and stores, we stayed and ate Latinamerican food. Later we headed to a candy store (check out my instagram pic below!). Antes de empezar a escribir, siempre busco los links de los enlaces de las piezas. Justo ahora empiezo por la falda...y estoy usándola igual que la modelo en la página de Motel Rocks - con una camisa manga larga cortita. De verdad que no fue al propósito, aunque el estilismo de las páginas es importantísimo porque nos da la primera idea de como usar una pieza. Bueno esto lo utilicé hace dos sábados para acompañar a Gabo a una sesión de fotos para la hermana de uno de nuestros mejores amigos. Como estabamos en la Lincoln Road, calle llena de tiendas y restaurantes, nos quedamos comiendo con ellos y después pasamos por una tienda de caramelos. Un abrazo grandísimo a tod@s!




HAIRSTYLE WITH VIDAL SASSON + CHICTOPIA:



Today I'm joining Chictopia and Vidal Sassoon to showcase a fun and unique-do. After watching the Met Gala a couple of weeks ago,  where several celebrities had this deep side part and the smaller part pulled back so it looks like you shaved half of your hair, and I really wanted to try it. You just need to do a deep side part and twist the smaller side and pin it back. I also curled my hair a little to give it dimension ( I used Vidal Sasson's heat protectant first), and I added a Vidal Sasson's hairspray to keep everything in place.

"In life, we must always remain inspired. Whether it be with family, friends, or loves, we must always be searching for the next adventure in our lives. Isn't that what life is about? I had to share Furor Moda's meaning behind the tee. Besides being a versatile and cute shirt, I absolutely love the meaning and I relate to it so much because of my recent (but temporary) move to NYC. Heading to a new adventure is challenging...but it always leads to great experiences. Adventures make us grow and learn...and like Tati said, they create the most beautiful memories. The best part of an adventure: having someone to share it with... so the whole concept of "Adventure with me" is...inspiring.

Back to the outfit: I have a very similar outfit but casual...so you can see how  this tank can be transformed in just seconds. This time I paired it with a royal blue skirt with a fun zipper across it on the front. I also added some fun heels and a simple black clutch. I wore this a couple of nights before coming to NYC to have dinner with Gabo.

Esta camisa creo que es mi favorita del momento....empezando con que me siento super orgullosa de mi amiga Tatiana de Furor Moda por haberla diseñado junto a Enter Utopia.  Y me encanta el significado detrás de ella... especialmente porque me siento muy identificada en estos momentos por mi nueva aventura en NYC. En la vida, nunca podemos dejar de buscar "aventuras"- aventuras que nos reten, aventuras que hagan crecer, aventuras que nos inspiren, y aventuras que se vuelven en los mejores recuerdos. Y lo mejor de experimentar estas aventuras...es tener alguien con quien compartirlas...familia, amigos, pareja, etc- así que el concepto de "Aventurate conmigo" me encanta..

Volviendo al outfit: ya verán otro muy similar pero casual...para que vean lo fácil que es llevar esta camisa de casual a arreglado en cuestión de segundos. Esta vez lo combiné con una falda azul con un cierre diagonal más unos zapatos muy llamativos y una carterita sencilla. Esto lo usé en una de mis últimas noches en Miami para ir a cenar con Gabo.
