You know it...it's Wednesday Remix!! This time I'm wearing the same pair of Mango pants three different ways. I've been saving this remix for a while because I wanted to add at least a fourth way- but I'm sure they'll make an appearance when the weather gets tolerable. Even though mine are MNG b mango, I added 4 styles from 4 different stores for different budgets in case you are interested in checking/purchasing one. Hope your week is going amazing! XOXO

Otro miércoles...¡¡otro remix!! En esta ocasión les muestro las 3 formas como he usado estos pantalones dorados/metálicos. Llevaba meses guardando este remix porque quería agregar una cuarta forma de combinarlos aquí les traigo varias ideas. Los míos son de MNG by Mango pero se agotaron hace meses, por eso les agregué 4 opciones de distintos precios en dado caso que les interesen estos pantalones. Espero que esten aprovechando la semana! Un abrazo inmenso!

Here comes a post FULL of pictures from a day at the pool- I think I've mentioned how I want to start going more often to the beach/pool (specially because this weather is begging to live close to the water). So on Sunday, without any plans, we headed to the pool- I guess we had the same idea as another 100 families that wanted to enjoy the last day before school started. We spent all the afternoon there, we took food, water, sunscreen, books, magazines, etc. This time I wanted to wear my new La Belle Rebelle retro swimsuit; I feel like all the Hispanic women at the pool, who are used to the brazilian little bikini, were staring at me like "what's wrong with her!!" but I absolutely love my retro bikini, it's so different and it has an old-hollywood vibe! If you like this silhouette but you are scared of the tan lines, it's simple: wear sunscreen!! (It's always better to use self-tanners or to be a little pale while preventing skin cancer). My outfit to go to the pool was very basic, I basically grabbed the 1st things I saw: jean shorts, crochet top, bright small bag just for the wallet and club ID, and my fedora. Aquí viene un post LLENO de fotitos de un día en la piscina- creo que les he mencionado anteriormente que no voy a la playa/piscina tanto como me gustaría (especialmente porque el clima en esta ciudad es de estar todo el día sumergida en algún cuerpo de agua). Así que el domingo sin nada que hacer nos aventuramos a la piscina de la urbanización, junto a cientos de familias que aparentemente tuvieron la misma idea- sobre todo porque era el último fin de semana de "vacaciones" de los niños en Estados Unidos. Estuvimos ahí gran parte de la tarde, nos llevamos comida, dulcitos, agua, mucho protector solar, y entretenimiento (libros y revistas). En esta ocasión quise utilizar mi traje de baño nuevo de La Belle Rebelle- que se ve muy retro ya que es a la cintura. Creánme que todas las latinas, especialmente aquellas en bikinis con hilo, se me quedaron viendo como "esta se volvió loca". Pero a mi me encanta, es diferente al típico bikini miniatura- y si les gusta pero les preocupa el bronceado: apliquen bastante protector y ya... como digo yo "es mejor estar pálida pero prevenir el cáncer de la piel". Mi outfit para ir a la piscina fue bastante básico y agarré lo primero que vi: unos shorts de jean, una camisa de crochet que habían visto AQUI, una fedora y una cartera pequeña neón (perfecta para llevar mi carnet al club y el monedero, no necesitaba nada mas). Espero que les haya gustado y cuéntenme que opinan de este tipo de traje de baños!

And seriously... the rain doesn't go away! Taking these pics was IMPOSSIBLE- we kind of run in between thunderstorms to take them. As soon as this dress arrived in the mail, I felt in LOVE- not only because of the print, but also because of the back detail. To continue the vintage/retro vibe of the dress, I added cat-eye sunglasses and a high bun (since humidity kills any hairstyle!). To finish the look, my bf made my grab his new but vintage camera (it's from 1976, and it still works perfectly). I wore this on Thursday to my second fitting for next week's fashion show and event. I'm modeling two looks, one from Furor Moda and the other one from I-Shine365; I'm so excited and I hope that if you live in Miami/South Florida, you'll stop by! Have a fun Sunday and a great week! ¡Y nada que deja de llover en Miami! Tomar estas fotos fue casi una misión imposible entre palo de agua y palo de agua. Apenas me llegó este vestido, se convirtió en uno de mis favoritos....no solo por el estampado, sino por la espalda (aparte que viene con unas copitas para no tener que preocuparse de usar nada). Para continuar la onda retro del vestido, quise usar mis lentes de sol tipo gato y un moño (porque en esta humedad y lluvia, ningún peinado aguanta). Para completar, mi novio me puso a posar con su cámara de rollo "nueva" (es de 1976, y todavía funciona perfectamente!) Esto fue lo que utilicé el jueves para ir al segundo fitting del evento de la semana que viene. Voy a modelar un look de Furor Moda y otro look para I-Shine365- ya saben, si vives en Miami/Sur de la Florida... espero verte ahí el próximo jueves. Feliz domingo y feliz semana a todas!
This outfit reminds me so much of Paris: mostly because of the matelot shirt, the two-tone shoes a la'Chanel, the colors... the only thing missing is the Eiffel Tower as the background **sigh, I love that city**. About the outfit: I know I wore this skirt+belt VERY recently, but I feel the vibe of the outfit is completely different and you all know how much I love re-wearing things. I finally found this shirt last month on Romwe, and I like how the stripes start just below the shoulder line. Also, check out how the shoes from the DIY look on- I'm sure when I get tired of the white, I'll add a layer of fun neon color . I wore this on Saturday to go to have sushi at my favorite restaurant with my parents and Gabo- then we headed to an ice-cream/yogurt place for dessert.. I hope you liked my Parisin chic look! Este outfit me recuerda al cliché parisino: la camisa de rayas, los colores, la punta de los zapatos a le'Chanel... lo único que me falta es la Torre Eiffel de fondo **suspiro**. Sobre el outfit: se que usé esta falda la semana pasada, y aunque los colores son similares... la vibra del outfit es completamente distinta- aparte, ustedes saben lo mucho que me gusta re-usar las cosas. Llevaba meses buscando una camisa tipo matelot, en la cual las rayas empiezan mas abajo de los hombros. También pueden ver como quedan los zapatos del DIY puestos, estoy casi segura que más adelante le voy a echar otra capa de pintura neón o metalizada. Esto lo utilicé el sábado para ir a comer sushi con mis papás y Gabo- después fuimos a un sitio de yoghurt! Espero que les haya gustado mi outfit inspirado en Paris! AU REVOIR!
A couple of weeks ago I asked on Facebook if you liked the idea of a section called "What should I wear to...? Here I'll what would I wear to occasions that don't necessarily go with my lifestyle (like in this case, I don't work right now... but this is what I would wear to a creative job). The blog is not going to change at all; it's just in days that I'm not doing anything (the more ideas, the better right?). Like I said, this outfit is perfect for creative jobs where you can be a little more risky with your style but still look put-together and professional. I wanted to pair this striped dress with a white blazer ( I think that wearing white looks more modern than a black blazer). Finally I added a chunky necklace (which is actually the handle of a handbag), a classic big bag (so it fits absolutely everything, even your laptop), and black pumps. Before continuing this section, please... let me know what you think! and tell me if you like this outfit! Right now I'm in Venezuela, in the middle of the country side with limited internet connection. But I promised I'll take lots of pics of my brother's wedding! XOXO

Hace unas semanas les pregunté por facebook si les gustaba la idea de una sección llamada "¿Qué me pongo en...?", en esta sección les voy a dar ideas de que usar en ocasiones que siempre me preguntan (como en esta caso, en el trabajo). El blog no va a cambiar para nada, solo que en días que no tengo absolutamente nada que hacer, en vez de dejar el blog vacío.. les doy más ideas! Este primer outfit es para trabajos creativos, en los que puedes ser más arriesgada con tu estilo pero todavía viéndote profesional. En este caso quise combinar un vestido de rayas azules y negras, con un blazer blanco ya que el negro se vería muy sobrio- finalmente agregué un collar grandote (que originalmente es la cadena de una cartera) y accesorios clásicos como los pumps negros y la cartera grande (estas carteras son lo mejor para el trabajo porque entra hasta la computadora). Antes de continuar con esta sección, quiero saber que les parece esta idea y que les pareció el outfit. En estos momentos estoy en Venezuela, en un pueblo en medio de la nada y con poco internet... pero les prometo fotitos de la boda por la iglesia de mi hermano. Un abrazo grandísimo!

Creo que les he mencionado lo mucho que me gusta usar piezas nuevas lo más que puedo- les juro que intenté guardar este outfit lo más que pude para que no pensaran "ay Daniela poniéndose lo mismo"... pero no me pude controlar. La camisa ya la vieron con unos jeans, AQUI, y la falda con una camisita de estrellas, AQUI. ¿Se acuerdan que les mencioné sobre la cartera "Wanderlust"? que viaja al mundo en manos de diferentes blogueras y pueden usarla de 3 formas; en esta ocasión la estoy usando abierta en vez de clutch (como vieron AQUI). Sobre mi día: esto fue lo que usé para ir a clases y luego almorzar tarde con la familia de mi novio en un sitio mexicano. Gracias por visitar mi blog... son las mejores!
