On Saturday, Lookbook.nu organized a dinner for all the lookbookers in NYC for Fashion Week. I had so much fun- it was great seeing all those people you have followed on Lookbook for so long. As usual, I was the first one there.. I'm not complaining, I actually like being the first one everywhere (so I had the change to spend time with the Lookbook.nu team: Yuri and Huan). It was not only great meeting amazing bloggers but also getting to see others again, like Camilla from Glamgerous ( I met her in NYC last summer). Also, I loved seeing my Miami girls, Steffy, Erika and Ria, in a different environment. After having dinner, we headed to a BCBG after party at a rooftop (gorgeous view!!). There, I saw Chiara from The Blonde Salad, and I finally met Sydne Summer- whom I admire so much! I hope you feel like you were there with me by looking at the pics! XOXO

El sábado, Lookbook.nu organizó una cena para todos los lookbookers que estuviese en Nueva York por la Semana de la Moda. Yo la pasé genial- y fue muy interesante ver en persona a gente que sientes que ya conoces de tanto ver en internet. Como a todos lados, llegué de primera-no se porque soy de las que prefiere estar ahí temprano e ir saludando a todo el mundo mientras llega...que llegar a una fiesta y estar como perdida- loqueras mías. Pero así tuve la oportunidad de compartir un poquito más con el grupo de Lookbook, Yuri y Huan.  No solo me encantó conocer a bloggers que sigo y; sino también reencontrarme con Camilla de Glamgerous, que no la veía desde un evento en NYC en agosto. Y por supuesto...fue lo máximo ver a las blogueras de Miami, Steffy, Ria y Erika, en un ambiente totalmente distinto. Después de comer, recibir camisas con HYPE, y disfrutar con los bloggers, nos fuimos a la fiesta de BCBG- ahí vi a Chiara (The Blonde Salad) de lejitos.. y conocí a Sydne Summer, a quién admiro muchísimo desde hace años. Espero que sientan de alguna forma con las fotitos que estuvieron conmigo ahí! Un abrazo grandísimo!

I had an extremely long-but-fun Sunday with 5 Miami bloggers and the Pavan Liqueur team. Since I'm waiting for the photos of the actual event, I decided to share the pictures of what I wore first. I knew I wanted to wear this fun camouflage pants I just found at Forever 21. At first I had a super casual look ok... sneakers and everything. But I ended making the outfit more "classy" with a timeless white blouse and cap toe pumps.... a combo that never fails. The necklace is amazing- itused to be Ana's (Chic Streets and Eats), and I love that it has silver and gold tones... that way it's easier to mix them in your outfit.

El domingo tuve un día larguísimo pero espectacular junto a otras 5 bloggers y el equipo de Pavan Liqueur. Ya que estoy esperando las fotitos del evento como tal, quise compartir primero lo que utilicé como tal. Sabía que quería usar estos pantalones de camuflaje que acababa de encontrar en Forever 21- primero tenía en mente una combinación super casual... que probablemente termine utilizando esta semana porque estoy enfiebrada con mis pantalones nuevos. Quise optar por una combinación un poquito más "clásica" pero los pantalones le dan un toque divertido. La camisa flaca y unos zapatos puntiagudos nunca fallan. El collar era de Ana- Chic Streets & Eats- de casualidad lo agarré en el intercambio al que fui la semana pasada y me encanta porque mezcla accesorios dorados+plateados (combinación que nos da miedito hacer).

I seriously can't get enough of this skirt; I want to wear it with everything. I think I've worn it more times that I has been featured on the blog (remix coming soon). This time I wanted to wear it with a fun t-shirt with a pout, a denim jacket, and fringe ankle booties. I love this booties because of the chunky heel, they are extremely comfy. I also added the necklace to make the shirt a little dressier. I wore this during the week to run a couple of errands and then we headed to a birthday dinner.

Esta falda me la quiero poner con TODO; me encanta el color, la textura, el estilo...todo. En esta ocasión, quise combinarla con una camisa divertida con una boquita y una chaqueta clásica de mezclilla. Al usar camisas tan sencillas/deportivas, me gusta como se ve el toque de un collar... hace que te veas más arreglada. Finalmente quise usar mis botines con flecos; ya tienen un tacon bajito y grueso, son comodísimas para usar durante todo el día. Esto lo utilicé en la tarde para hacer unas diligencias y luego en la noche para un cumpleaños.
