Today I’m really excited to go back to my roots and do a little REMIX with probably the most versatile piece of clothing a woman can own: a white shirt. My go-to for ultra-light cotton tee is the Hanes Nano-T® Crew Neck.  I love the sleek fit, it’s very flattering in all silhouettes!  I always get it in size Medium because I like a little of an oversized fit.

Here comes the first post of 2017. I wanted to share this one earlier but I've been in family mode and I like disconnecting and really enjoying the time I have with them.

For 2017, I don't want to be a "new me": I want to be the best version I can be. 2016 was a great year for me, a year of learning, a year of opportunities, a year of personal growth and understanding.

I originally was writing of the things I wanted for 2017. But I realized I should be writing "I will" instead.

I want to will blog more often.
I want to will do more videos.
I want to will continue traveling, and I want to visit new places.
I want to will continue working out, but I could use a little bit of more healthy eating.

 ....because life is not about wanting things but going after them.

Aquí viene el primer post del 2017 (whoop whoop). De verdad que quería compartirlo antes pero estoy de viaje con mi familia y para mi es super importarte disfrutar el tiempo que tenemos untos, especialmente porque vivimos todos tan lejos unos de los otros.

Para este año nuevo no quiero ser una "nueva yo", quiero ser la mejor versión de mi misma. A pesar de los hechos mundiales, el 2016 fue un año increíble para mi; un año donde aprendí muchísimo, lleno de oportunidades, donde entendí la importancia de decir que no, y poner la felicidad de uno antes de todo. Y quiero que este año nueva traiga más oportunidades, más aprendizajes...porque  quiero seguir convirtiéndome en una mejor versión cada año.

Igual me he puesto muchas metas y deseos. Pero en vez de escribir que quiero publicar más seguido, o que quiero seguir viajando. Voy a escribir que lo haré- porque la vida no se trata de deseos si no de hechos.

As soon as I saw this skirt, I knew I had to have it (one of those "I didn't know I needed you until I saw you- you know what I'm talking about!!).  Wearing such a statement piece can be hard, you don't want to overwhelm your outfit

I have many ideas on how to wear this skirt. This time I paired it with basics that must be in everyone's wardrobe : a white tee, a leather jacket, ankle booties, and cat eye sunglasses.

But what about accessories? Again, you don't want to overwhelm your look with over-the-top accessories. Instead of a statement necklace or earrings, go for delicate pieces. I added two tiny of the classic TOUS bears to my earring layering (not sure, if that's a thing, but I'm going to call it that!). I also added three bracelets from the Icon Mesh collection, I love how they are all different metallics...so yes, don't be afraid to mix and match gold, silver, and gold rose!!

Final touch? This GORGEOUS Tous backpack; it has leather, it has suede, it has mesh details...perfect Holiday gift too!!

Me han estado pidiendo ideas de looks decembrinos y aquí les traigo uno que les  gusto mucho en Instagram.

Apenas vi esta falda supe que tenía que ser mía (si, si...de esas cosas que no sabes que "necesitabas" - ustedes saben a lo que me refiero! Pero usar una pieza así de llamativa puede ser complicado- no quieres que tu look se vea pesado o exagerado.

Tengo varias ideas de como usar esta falda- así que prepárense que la verán más. Pero esta vez opté por básicos (de esos que no pueden faltar en tu guardarropa): una camiseta blanca, una chaqueta de cuero, botines negros y lentes de sol estilo gato.

Pero hablemos de accesorios. Como les dije, no quieres que tu look se ve muy cargado cuando se trata de accesorios. En vez de usar un collar grande o aretes largos, busca piezas más delicadas. Yo tengo 4 huesitos en una oreja, y agregué dos pequeños ositos de TOUS y me encantó el resultado. También añadí 3 pulseras de la famosa colección Icon Mesh, me encanta como las 3 son de diferentes tonos: dorada, plateada, y oro rosa- así que ya saben, no tengan miedo de mezclarlos.

¿Toque final? Este hermoso bultito de TOUS- tiene cuero, gamuza, el detalle de malla- perfecto para un regalito navideño también.
