So today's post is a little short (but sweet) because I still have to finish my final projects of this semester- at least after tomorrow, I have three weeks off... finally, time to relax! I wore this on Sunday to go to Amanda's place (from Capture Fashion)- all the Miami bloggers are getting together for a special photoshoot that will be the cover of the community, I'm so excited about it and I can't wait to see the final result. Amanda and her boyfriend have been shooting non-stop the past weeks all of the bloggers, I had the opportunity to be there with Steffy (Steffy's Pros and Cons) & Eugy ("The Goodwill project). After that, I went to get my computer back from Apple (after two weeks!! poor Gaby I kept stealing his to update the blog and finish the school projects!) HAVE AN AMAZING WEEK! XOXO
BTW! I haven't said anything about my new header... isn't it amazing? It was a lovely gift from the talented Nicol - check out her blog and her amazing artwork HERE.

Hoy les escribo rapidito porque estoy en la semana final de clases y tengo muchÃsimos trabajos que entregar mañana- al menos tengo tres semanas de vacaciones, finalmente un descanso! Esto fue lo que usé el domingo para ir a casa de Amanda de Capture Fashion- todas las blogueras de Miami estamos haciendo una sesión de fotos juntas para que sea la portada de la Comunidad de blogueras de Miami, ya quiero ver como queda pero por lo que vi... va genial!! Ahi estuve con Steffy (Steffy's Pros and Cons) y Eugy ("The Goodwill project), cada una se tomo su foto y luego nos quedamos compartiendo un rato. Después de eso fui a buscar mi computadora (pueden creer que estuve dos semanas sin compu, tenÃa que usar la de Gabo para poder actualizar el blog y hacer mis proyectos de la uni). FELIZ SEMANA!! Abrazos inmensos!
Por cierto, no les he hablado de mi muñequita en el tÃtulo.. ¿no es hermosa!? Fue un regalito de la linda y talentosa Nicol- chequeen su blog, tiene dibujos hermosÃsimos!

I was so excited on Saturday to post the Teeki Giveaway, that I completely forgot about the outfit I wore on Friday to go to the movies. You have already seen these pants in two occasions- I really want to wear them as much as possible so I can do a fun remix and prove that leopard jeans can be versatile too. The last time I wore them, I wore the exact same shirt too- however, this time I wore it up (instead on butted up) so the look was more casual and laid back (see the previous look HERE). I also paired it with brown/gold accessories so it was less harsh- even though I'm wearing a necklace, bracelet and a ring, the accessories are so simple that they don't overwhelm the pants. I hope you liked the look... let me know what you will wear with these pants! XOXO
_____________Por poner la rifa del bikini de Teeki se me habÃa pasado poner este outfit- esto fue lo que utilicé el pasado viernes para ir al cine con mi novio. Ya estos pantalones los han visto en 2 ocasiones anteriores- quiero sacarles el mayor provecho posible para que vean que una pieza tan llamativa como estos jeans pueden ser más versátiles de lo que pensamos. En esta ocasión estoy utilizando hasta con la misma camisa que vieron AQUI, pero la abrà para darle un toque más casual y relajado. También lo combiné con accesorios marrones en vez de negros para que fuera un look más sencillo. A pesar de que tengo bastantes accesorios (pulsera, anillo, y collar), todos son tan delicados que no le quitan protagonismo a estos pantalones tan llamativos. Espero que les haya gustado! This week, my boyfriend and I are celebrating 5 years together (I know I know, we started dating during my freshman year in 2006!) Would you like to see a post full of pics of us throughout the years? I think this is the reason why I have been dressing a little more romantic than usual (hair do included and everything). Generally... when we take the daily pics, we leave Chiki in the house (or the car, depending on where we are going). So, I decided to take him out but it's so hard to take pics with him; he just wants to run around! When I bought this shirt (from furormoda.com), I was wearing these flare jeans with a white blouse and a leopard scarf. I tried it on and I loved how it looked but I always forgot to wear it this way. Since I was headed to eat and walk around the mall with my bf's family, I wanted to wear something comfy and simple- I saw these earrings and I was like.. they are perfect, they do not overwhelm the shirt! Cuando le compré esta camisa a Tati (de Furormoda.com), estaba usando estos pantalones con una camisa blanca y la bufanda de leopardo. Al probarmela, me encantó como se ve veÃa con los jeans anchos pero no habÃa tenido la oportunidad de usarla de esta manera. Ya que solo iba a comer y al centro comercial con la familia de mi novio, querÃa algo cómodo y sencillo- vi estos zarcillos/aretes y me parecieron el complemento perfecto a la camisa sin que se viera recargada. Un abrazo gigante a todaas!
As some of you might know, I just started studying "Fashion Merchandising" after graduating in Business and working in social media for about a year. I also promised that I would share what I wear to school- the hard part about dressing up for fashion school is that you still want to be comfortable in class but you DO want to look like you study fashion- and it's even harder when it's 6 am and you just want to stay in your PJs. About this outfit: when I was checking out everyone's entries for last week's challenge "Dress like your favorite blogger, I realized I had all the pieces to recreate FanceeNancee's outfit so I went for it. I wore this to school on Wednesday, a day full of quizzes and proyects! I hope you are having an amazing weekend! XOXO
Como muchas sabe, regresé a la universidad después de un año de haberme graduado en Administración y estar trabajando en social media/relaciones públicas. Pero esta vez estoy estudiando "Fashion Merchandising" o mercadeo de moda- y les prometà mostrarles lo que llevo a la universidad. Lo difÃcil de vestirse diariamente para ir a una escuela de moda es encontrar el balance entre "comodidad de universidad" y algo que diga "pero estudio una carrera relacionada con la moda" - y más aún cuando son las 6 am y lo que quieres es ir en pijamas. En el reto de la semana pasada "vÃstete como tu blogger favorita", FanceeNancee compartió un outfit con unos jeans verdes y una fedora- apenas lo vi le comenté fue como "tengo todas las piezas para recrearlo". Como les dije, esto fue lo que usé para ir a la universidad el miércoles; un dÃa lleno de proyectos y examenes! Espero que esten disfrutan el fin de semana! Un abrazo!
