A couple of months ago I opened my little shop called ""Shop My Klozet" ; there you can find new and gently used items in the "As seen on Nany's Klozet" section. I also want to remind you that the used items are in perfect condition and I'm selling them for a lot less than what you will find them online (also, the profit from that section goes to a non-profit organization in Venezuela that helps kids without a home). I'm seling two things from this look: (1) the designer inspired bag ($40, retails for over $100) and (2) the shoes ($15) almost identical to the Valentino Rockstud shoes. Hace unos meses abrí mi tiendita "Shop My Klozet" donde pueden conseguir cositas nuevas y "usadas" en la parte de "As seen on Nany's Klozet". Les recuerdo que las cosas "usadas" están en perfecto estado y a menos de la mitad del precio original- y que toda la ganancia de las cosas usadas va a una fundación en Venezuela para niños sin hogar.  De este look estoy vendiendo dos cositas: (1) la cartera ($40, originalmente costaba alrededor de $100): que es de un color y estilo clásico que vas a poder usar con todo y (2) los zapatos ($15): casi idénticos a los Valentino Rockstud. Years ago, I expressed my "hate" towards jeans- because I feel like people wear jeans just to avoid thinking "what to wear"...they just grab the first shirt they see.  So I stopped wearing them to challenge myself to try new combinations and to wear more skirts/shorts/dresses (hello, this was in 2009!). Lately I've been feeling the need to challenge me the other way around: how to make classic blue jeans fashionable? And what I like about this look is its simplicity...simple colors, simple lines, simple pieces. I wore this to go have dinner at a place in Midtown called "Lemoni Café"- for all my Miami guys/girls, I completely recommend it! Have an amazing day!! Hace años les comenté lo mucho que evitaba los jeans- ya que siento que la gente por flojera, utiliza jeans y agarra la primera camisa que ve. Si quieres retarte en el mundo de la moda, olvida tus jeans.. esto te pone creativa en cuanto al combinar diferentes piezas e intentar nuevos estilos. Pero últimamente me he retado de una forma distinta...¿cómo hacer que los blue jeans se vean a la moda? Este look, al contrario, es extremadamente sencillo...pero eso creo que es lo que me gusta: su simplicidad. Esto lo utilicé el fin de semana pasado para ir a comer a un sitio que se llama "Lemoni Cafe"- se los recomiendo a todas las Miameras...es riquísimo. Un abrazo inmensisimo! After a couple of days of crazy wind and a little bit of rain because of Hurricane Sandy (nothing like the affected areas right now... hope all of you are safe!), we are enjoying perfect weather....not a cloud in the sky and lower temperatures that are finally fall-wardrobe appropriate. So I took out this fun snakeskin print blazer, which is more like a jacket...it's really warm. I have to admit I was inspired by one of the main characters from Pretty Little Liars who wore it with a blue top- I ended up adding my favorite hat, which apparently needs a rest, to give the look a casual/relaxed vibe...it was looking too polished without it. Since the blazer is the main focus, I kept it very simple when it comes to accessories...just a classic watch and a nail-head bracelet. I wore this on Sunday to have sushi with my parents and they to walk around the bay with Gabo- definitely loving this weather! Thanks for stopping by! XOXO

Después que el huracán "Sandy" pasara levemente por Miami (Un abrazo grande a todas las personas que esten en zonas afectas, tengan mucho cuidado!), nos dejó con un clima espectacular sin una nube en el cielo y una temperatura finalmente otoñal. Así que quise sacar este blazer, que más que un blazer es como una chaqueta porque es peludita por dentro- tomé inspiración de como la utilizó una de las protagonistas del show Pretty Little Liars con una camisa azul- el look originalmente se veía muy formal así que terminé agregando este sombrero, que se que no me lo quito ultimamente, para darle un toque más casual y relajado. Como el blazer es tan llamativo, no quise recargarlo con accessorios- apenas una pulsera que parece un clavo doblado y un reloj sencillo. Esto lo utilicé el domingo para ir a comer sushi con mis papás y luego estuvimos caminando por la bahía aprovechando este clima tan perfecto. ¡Gracias por pasar por el blog! ¡Abrazos!
