Since I was little, I can't wait to wear something new- I even used to walk out of the store wearing the new stuff and the old ones would be inside the bag. So I'm wearing several birthday gifts- including the pants, top and necklace. When I met Flor in San Francisco, she gifted me one of the necklaces of her new online store- and the cutest part is that she named it after me ("The Dany necklace"). I really love it because it has silver, bronze, gold, black, and transparent pieces- so you can wear it with anything. I decided to paired it with my new leather pants and this half sheer gray shirt from Madonna's Material Girl collection for Macys. I wore this outfit to go to school with flats; then I changed it up to heels and I headed to have an early dinner with my family. Finally, I wanted to thanks everyone because we reached 5,000 likes on Facebook and 2,000 followers via google! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Nunca he podido esperar usar algo apenas me lo regalan- cuando era chiquita, siempre salía de las tiendas con la ropa/zapatos nuevos y dejaba lo viejo en la bolsa. En este outfit estoy usando varios regalitos de cumpleaños, incluyendo la camisa, los pantalones y el collar. Cuando fui a San Francisco, Flor me regaló este collar, el cual es parte de su nueva tienda por internet- y lo más tierno de todo es que se llama "Dany". Me encanta porque tiene tonos dorados, negros, transparentes y plateados- así que combina con todo. Lo quise combinar con mis nuevos pantalones de "cuero" y esta camisa gris que es parte de la colección de Material Girl de Macys por la hija de Madonna. Este outfit lo utilicé primero en la tarde con flats negras para ir a la universidad y luego para ir a comer con mi familia en la nochecita. Por cierto, quería agradecerles porque llegamos a los 5 mil me gusta en Facebook y a las 2 mil seguidoras por Google! GRACIAS GRACIAS!!!

I didn't post this outfit before because I didn't want to bore you with another asymmetric dress- but I really love them, and the best part is that you can take them to the seamstress to make them super simple. This time I wanted to add my face knitted sweater (which you have seen so many times already), loved that this gives the illusion that I'm wearing a skirt instead. Later that day I headed to Furor's anniversary, where I met two super sweet readers- but I made a slight change to the outfit- I took off the sweater (don't worry that I'm sure you'll see it like that too). Estaba guardando este outfit porque no quería aburrirlas con otro vestido asimétrico- pero de verdad me encantan y estaba pensando que cuando pasen de moda puedo cortarlos y convertirlos en vestidos sencillos. Esta vez quise agregarle un suéter que ya han visto muchísimas veces, de manera que se viera como una falda en vez de vestido. Después en la tardecita pasé el día en el aniversario de Furor, donde conocí a dos seguidoras del blog- pero hice un mini cambio, me quité el suetercito (no se preocupen que pronto lo usaré así también!). The day started at Niketown where we had breakfast and got inspired by these amazing speakers who told us their marathon experiences. Then, they reveled the Tiffanys necklace that every runner would get at the finish line (love it!). After that we had the whole day to do whatever we wanted - Mercedes from Be chic mag and I decided to hop on a tour bus to get to know the city (little did we know we would walk it the next day at the marathon). I absolutely fell in love with the city; the houses, the view, the weather, the sea... We also stopped by the park where the Full House intro was filmed. Later that day, I had an early dinner with Flor (Flor de Maria Fashion) at an amazing peruvian restaurant! My camera died while we were taking the pics so I'll update this post in a couple of hours! El día empezó en Niketown donde desayunamos y luego nos mostraron el collar que Tiffanys le iba a dar a todas las maratonistas al día siguiente. Después de ahí,  me fui con una de las bloggeras a recorrer San Francisco- decidimos montarnos en un autobus turístico que nos paseara por la ciudad. Les puedo decir que quede enamorada de San Francisco; la arquitectura, la playa, la vista, el clima...todo me encantó! Aparte fuimos al parque donde grabaron la introducción de Full House e intentamos buscar la casa pero nos perdimos por la ciudad Después en la tardecita me reuní con Flor otra vez y comimos en un restaurante peruano! Nos tomamos unas fotitas juntas pero con la cámara de Flor así que pronto actualizo este post con más fotitos!

A couple of hours ago I published this week's challenge but... I used pictures from two months ago (where I got inspired by Lovely Pepa, click here to see it). I really do not like to repost outfits more than once. As I mentioned, I had a little problem uploading these pics- but here they are, I hope you like them. My inspiration was Andy from StyleScrapbook- I love her blog&style and I'm so proud that she's a successful latina in Europe. I really wanted to give it my personal stye, reason why I changed the flat black hat to a fedora. About my Saturday: I spent it thrift store shopping but I didn't buy absolutely anything. First I went to a famous thrift store but it was a little scary, there was even a woman with an ankle tracking device. Then, I decided to go to C.Madeleines (a Rachel Zoe fave) where all they sell are vintage designer pieces- everything cost over $400. However, I love going there; everything is gorgeous... Dior from the 60's, Chanel from the 60s and they have everything organized by decade. After that  I had dinner with my boyfriend, and came back home! Did you enter this week's challenge? Hace un rato publiqué el reto de la semana pero con fotos repetidas de cuando me inspiré en el outfit de Lovely Pepa.- y de verdad que no me gusta publicar los outfits más de una vez. Como le había mencionado, tuve un problemita pasando las fotos pero ya lo solucioné y aquí están...espero que les gusten. Mi inspiración fue Andy de StyleScrapbook- me encanta tu blog y me encanta que sea un latina exitosa en Europa. Sus outfits siempre tienen algo especial... muy ella... razón por la que quise inspirarme en el outfit que ven abajo, pero darle mi toque personal. Les cuento que ayer tenía ganas de ir a tiendas de segunda mano/vintage; fui a una a la que nunca había ido y casi me da algo...había hasta una muchacha con la cosa esa del tobillo de la polícia. Tenían muchas cosas y estaba muy organizado pero prefiero ir un día de la semana. Después quise aventurarme a C.Madeleines- es un sitio famoso de cosas vintage pero de diseñador, nada baja de $400. Es  ESPECTACULAR, Dior de los 60s, Chanel de los 70s y así. Todo lo tienen organizado por década y tipo de ropa, como les dije: un espectáculo! On the last post, I told that I haven't worn jeans in ages, but I felt in love with these Forever 21 jeans and  I haven't stopped wearing them. People in school asked me if I got them at J-Brand, I was like "no way, they were only $16!). I also like that I'm challenging myself to make them look chic instead of boring. I know I always complain about how hot Miami is (and it still is) but you always are indoors with the a/c on; reason why I decided to wear this outfit ( and I had the cold still and the a/c is terrible when you are sick). I got this bag a couple of days ago and I'm in love with it.... isn't it gorgeous!? it dresses up any outfit! I took the pics just before arriving to a Furor small shopping event- there we talked for hours, drank wine, and I did a little shopping. I got a shirt that you saw in the Furor Series and a new one- can't wait to show you. I came back home straight to the bed, I had to wake up early to go to school! En el post pasado les conté que tenía siglos sin ponerme jeans, pero encontré estos en Forever 21 y no los he soltado para nada. Hasta me preguntaron en la universidad si eran de J-Brand, pero no!- costaron solo $16 (aparte, creo que me estoy retando a que no se vean aburridos).  Se que seguro pensaran que me estaba derritiendo en Miami con este outfit, pero es que sinceramente en esta ciudad- por mucho calor que haga, siempre estás en un aire acondicionado.  Y como estaba con dolor de garganta y un poquito de gripe, quise agregar la bufanda de verano- y la tela de la camisa es super delgadita, así que es perfecto para estar adentro. Esta cartera me llegó hace 2 días, me enamoré apenas la ví, ¿no les parece una belleza!!?. Las fotos las tomé antes de llegar a casa de mi amiga y dueña de Furor, ya que tuvo un pequeño evento donde podíamos comprar, chismear, y tomar vino. Le compré dos cositas, una camisa que vieron en la serie de Furor y otra camisa que me fascino- se las muestro pronto. Estuve ahí hasta tardísimo la noche del jueves hablando, y llegué directo a dormir porque tenía clases y una presentación al día siguiente. Espero que esten pasando un bonito fin de semana!
