And we arrived to TOLEDO; a gorgeous city in central Spain. We fell in love with this city because it was intact- it looked straight out of a medival movie set (you know that feeling when you are not sure if they are actual houses or just cardboard like in Disney). There is an incredible mixture in architecture and culture because of the coexistance of Jewish, Muslim, and Christian cultures. It is also known for its swords;  we didn't know why they were selling things from "The Lord of the Rings" in every corner (it's because apparently all the swords used in the movie are from Toledo). As usual, we walked a lot, ate more, and had even more fun. That day, Gabo let me "style" him...and we ended up looking a little matchy matchy (with black bottoms, gray shirt, and denim) but still cute right!? ope you like the pictures and have a fantastic weekend!

Y en el cuarto día llegamos a TOLEDO; una ciudad que nos fascinó. Al ser tan amurallada, está intacta- hay momentos que sientes que viajaste en el tiempo o que estás en el set de una película medieval . Aparte tiene una mezcla de architectura y cultura debido a la gran convivencia de católicos, judíos y musulmanes. También es conocida por sus espadas; nos llamó la atención que en cada esquina vendían algo del Señor de los Anillos y es que las espadas de la película son de Toledo. Como siempre: caminamos muchísimos, comimos muchísimo, y disfrutamos aún más. Este día Gabo me dejó "vestirlo"- y terminamos estando medio gemelitos (ambos con pantalones oscuros, tonos grises, y mezclilla). Espero que les gusten las fotos! Abrazos y FELIZ FIN DE SEMANA!!

On our third night in Spain, we headed to a small city very close to madrid called "Alcalá de Henares" (small parenthesis, yes I changed outfits twice in a day ...hello, I was in a gorgeous country!). This city is well- known because of Miguel de Cervantes- the main plaza has his name and there is a fun statue of "Don Quijote" (check out the selfie I took with him). We walked around the city, and I absolutely loved it- I'd love to live in a place like that. After walking, we ate tapas with all my aunts that were in Spain too ( a total of 5 sisters including my mom). That day was a little colder than I expected; there was a moment I wished I was wearing pants...but that's okay!! Hope you like the pics!!

En la noche del tercer día en España, fuimos de visita a un pueblito muy lindo llamado "Alcalá de Henares" (pequeña aclaratoria: cada vez que ibamos a un pueblo nuevo, quería utilizar un outfit diferente aunque fuese el mismo día para aprovechar cada post al máximo). Esta ciudad es conocida por ser la cuna de Cervantes- la plaza principal lleva su nombre y hay una estatua muy divertida de Don Quijote y Sancho Panza.  Estuvimos paseando mucho por las callecitas, todo espectacular- y terminamos comiendo tapas con todas mis tías , 5 hermanas contando a mi mamá. Ese día estaba haciendo más frío de lo que imaginaba- hubo momentos que me hubiese gustado tener pantalones jaja. ¡Espero que les gusten las fotitos! Un abrazo inmenso!!

As I've mentioned in the past; this has been one of the longest "Miami Winters" (not the coldest...but definitely the longest with cool temperatures). For the first time I have been experimenting with light layers and wearing more jackets than usual. This leopard dress is very tight and short...so I tried making it more casual (less sexy) with a fun cargo jacket and tights. Since the leopard print is so bold, I kept the accessories to the minimum...well except for one of my favorite hats. I'll be arriving in NYC shortly...so stay tuned for my new adventures around the city. I'll be there around 10 weeks to do my internship for school (not sure if I can see exactly where, but it's at an amazing magazine). Hope you enjoy your weekend! XOXO

Como les he estado contando; creo que este ha sido uno de los "inviernos" más largos de Miami  (no el más fuerte, pero si definitivamente uno bastante fresco y por bastante tiempo). Lo cual por primera vez me ha dado la oportunidad de experimentar un poquito con las capas y usar más chaquetas de lo que estoy acostumbrada. Este vestido de leopardo por su cuenta es bastante sexy y cortito - razón por la que intenté hacerlo más casual para no caer en lo vulgar. Como el leopardo es tan llamativo, mantuve los accesorios al mínimo...bueno excepto uno de mis sombreros favoritos. Dentro de poquitico llego a Nueva York para hacer la pasantía en una revista...síganme por instagram o twitter @nanysklozet para estar pendiente de todo lo que pasa.
