BLOGGER SWAP with "Our Favorite Style"

Friday, July 5, 2013

I've always mentioned how my main source of inspiration are...other personal style blogs. Being a fashion blogger doesn't mean you need to have a 100% unique style. I love taking ideas from other blogs and making them my own style. A couple of weeks ago, Raquel from "Our Favorite Style" reached out to me so for a blog collaboration...and this idea came to my head. So why not make it a bi-monthly section on the blog? So keep an eye for this blogger swapping...

Looking for what look to swap with Raquel was hard, her style is very cute and I see myself wearing a lot of her outfits. I ended wearing this one because I had almost identical pieces. Even though the color of the shorts is different, the basic is exactly the same: neon shorts, denim shirt, gold necklace, and nude booties. I hope you like the idea of this segment and I hope I'll introduce you to an amazing group of bloggers !

Don't forget to check out which of my looks inspired "Our Favorite Style". XOXO

Spain, day 6: GRANADA!

After a full day in Sevilla- we decided to stop by Granada before going back to Madrid (and sadly get ready to return home)- it was around 6 hours driving, but it was completely worth it. I feel like every city that I visited was completely different than the previous one. The cool part about this one was the huge Islamic influence on the architecture, culture and food (now I really want to go to Morroco). Mainly we were at the "Alhambra"- which was a palace, fortress and gardens -check out a little more about it here. After walking A LOT in the crazy heat, we stopped to eat at an arabic restaurant- different from the Spanish food..but so yummy.

Many of you might already know that Google Friend Connect is not working any more- if you followed me there, I'd love for you to follow my blog via bloglovin. XOXO

Gabo's birthday was almost two weeks ago... and this is what I wore to his birthday. He turned 26, I can't believe how old we are. I remember like it was yesterday when we celebrated his 20th birthday in Venezuela (we were on Spring Break). Every year, I have planned some type of surprise party at my place- but this year, I passed the torch and let his sisters planned the whole thing. We had a lot of fun- a small group of his closest friends was there. We ate pizza and a lot of delicious cake (which was shaped like a camera). I have to admit that every time I have to go to my boyfriend's house, I end up wearing something girly/romantic (It's not that I change my style... it's just that I don't find it appropriate to wear something very edgy, tight, or super trendy. Is it just me?) I chose this flowy white dress and added a long green necklace (which has some pink splashes...so I went matchy matchy and wore pink wedges). I hope you have an amazing Friday and enjoy the weekend! XOXO
