I got this dress on the mail on Thursday and I couldn't wait to wear it- it's from a new online store called 2020ave.com, they have a lot of cute and affordable items! I love that it's so sheer- the only problem was that I didn't read the description box where it say that it didn't come with the slip so I had to improvise with a simple top and a tight skirt. I paired with camel accessories and a small pop of color in the bracelets. I wore this to a friend's birthday at a cool restaurant in Fort Lauderdale.  I thought it was a casual restaurant- reason why I wore this boho bag- but it was more like a lounge, and everyone was so dressed up! El jueves me llegó este vestido por correo y no podía esperar para usarlo, es de una página llamada 2020ave.com con ropa/accesorios muy económicos y lindísimos. Me encanta que sea totalmente transparente- no me fijé que en la descripción dice que viene sin el forro debajo, así que tuve que improvisar con una camisa de tiritas + falda. Lo combiné con accesorios color "camel" y un poco de color en las pulseras. Esto fue lo que utilicé para el cumpleaños de una amiga, fuimos a comer a un restaurante/lounge en Fort Lauderdale. Yo juraba que era un restaurante casual y por eso fui con esta cartera toda bohemia- y cuando llegamos, todo el mundo estaba como si fuera una discoteca. Por cierto... acabo de abrir una cuenta en instagram, si quieres seguirme "nanysklozet".Un abrazo grandísimo a todas!

From December 1-4, Miami hosted the 10th edition of Art Basel Miami Beach,  which is the most prestigious art show in the Americas (with more than 260 leading galleries  that showcase works by more than 2,000 artists of the last two centuries). After 5 years living here, I finally decided to see what all the buzz was about. First we headed to the "Miami Convention Center"- which was this HUGE gallery. We didn't even know where to start and we didn't even see 1/4 of it. It was so much fun, I took my camera with me and loved taking pictures like crazy (you can see a lot of pics below). Then, we got very hunger so we ate in Miami Beach. Later at night we headed to Wyndwood, there was music, food, fashion, more galleries, and street art. About my outfit: I know I know, another asymmetrical dress. I love this cut right now and the best part is that I can get them hem later when they go out of style. I really like this one because the print makes it more casual- as soon as I thought about tribal print, I wanted to pair the dress with the fringe bag and some huge earrings. Desde el primero al cuatro de diciembre, Miami fue el anfitrión del décimo "Art Basel"- el cual es el show de arte más prestigioso en las Américas (en el cual puedes encontrar  más de 260 galerías que muestran el trabajo de más de 2 mil artistas de los últimos dos siglos). No tengo idea porque no había ido antes, pero este año quise aventurarme a ver de que se trataba todo esto. Primero entramos al Miami Convention Center- el cual tenía muchísimas obras de arte, no sabíamos por donde empezar y nisiquiera vimos la mitad de lo que había que ver (pero tomamos muchísimas fotos, abajo las comparto con ustedes). Después de caminar y caminar, nos dio un hambre terrible y fuimos a comer ahí mismo en Miami Beach. Luego en la nochecita pasamos por Wyndwood- donde había música, cómida, moda, y más galerías. Sobre mi outfit: si, se que es OTRO vestido asimétrico- pero me encantan y tengo planeado cortarlos cuando pasen de moda. Este me gusta muchísimo porque es mucho más casual que otros que tengo- especialmente porque no es tan largo en la parte de atrás y el estampado tribal lo hace más de día. Apenas pensé en estampado tribal, quise combinarlo con esta cartera de flecos y unos zarcillos/aretes grandotes. Espero que disfruten las fotitos del Art Basel! Un abrazo!

I can't believe I haven't published these pictures before- I think it was because I wasn't that happy with the quality of them (it was VERY dark- so by making them lighting, they look a little bit off). This was a couple of weeks ago and my friend Tati was my photographer. Looking at these pics makes me miss the Miami weather right now. I know I complain about how hot it is all the time- but it is FREEZING in Chicago right now (at least for a Venezuelan/Miami girl). Remember I told I spent Wednesday afternoon with Tati from Furor? We did a mini-photoshoot with things from her store and it was so much fun- it's like we were little girls again playing dress up and model/photographer. ¿Se acuerdan que les dije que pasé el miércoles con mi amiga Tati de Furor? Una de las cosas que hicimos fue hacer una mini-sesión de fotos- como les dije, nos sentimos como niñas chiquitas que jugaban a vestirse  y después tomarse fotos. I haven't posted this week because of class- I spent around 8 hours there and I came back home super tired, but I love them all and I'm sure excited about the projects I'm going to be doing. Yesterday, I spent the whole afternoon with Tati from Furormoda.com- we were planning some things together, and she was the photographer of the day ( you rock Tati!). It was so funny because we are like little girls playing dress up. About my outfit: I'm in love with this scarf- I love the white skulls and the way it transforms any outfit (it also reminds me of the Alexander McQueen scarves but for less.. a lot less!). Estos días he estado a millón con las clases- paso más de ocho horas en la universidad, pero me encantan todas mis clases. Ya les mostraré algunos de los proyectos que voy a estar haciendo. Ayer pasé toda la tarde con mi amiga de Furor y estuvimos planeando unas cositas, chismeando y ella fue mi fotógrafa del día. Es súper cómico porque nos sentimos como niñas chiquitas jugando a vestirse con ropa de grande. Sobre mi outfit: estoy "enamorada" de la bufanda- me recuerda a las de Alexander McQueen pero por solo $16! Se que la voy a usar muchísimo porque me encanta el toque que le da a cualquier outfit... los transforma.  Ahorita estoy haciendo maletas porque mañana voy a estar en otro destino... ya les contaré! My boyfriend's bff is in Miami for Labor Day weekend- so we have been taking him out to different places. Today, Friday, I wanted to take them to a small restaurant I went with some friends from school called "100 montaditos"- and I loved the concept. There you can get small sandwiches and they have a lot of flavors- from salmon&cream cheese to nutella&almonds. After that, I headed to the mall to find some of the items of my September's wishlist. Right now, we are trying to figure out if we are going out to drink or to the movies. I hope you are having an amazing weekend! XOXO

I wore this on Sunday- a super relax day... all Sundays should be like that. After sleeping until noon and a late brunch, I headed to JC Penney- I'm super excited since I was chosen to be featured on JC Penney's chictopia. After carefully searching through the whole store, I found the most amazing/colorful jeans- they have them in royal blue, green, yellow, pink, and red. I decided to get two since they were only $17 (originally $40!). Can you guess which ones I got?. Then, I decided to stop by my bf's house and it was a terrible idea... the elevator was broken and I had to use the stairs ( Did I mention he lives in the 13th floor? and yes.. I was wearing these gigantic platforms!) As you can see in the pictures below, my puppy decided to join me while we were taking pics- however, he decided to jump in the lake (which was so funny!) Esto fue lo que utilicé el domingo- el cual fue un día totalmente tranquilo, como deberían ser todos los domingos. Después de dormir hasta tarde y almorzar, decidí aventurarme a JC Penney- ya que esta semana voy a aparecer en la página de JC Penney en Chictopia (que emoción!). Después de recorrer por horas la tienda, encontré unos pantalones ESPECTACULARES de colores (los tienen en azul, amarillo, verde, rosado y rojo!)- aparte que de $40 estaban en $17 (¿adivinan que colores agarré?). Luego pasé un segundo por la casa de mi novio y fue lo peor porque el ascensor estaba dañado, vive en el piso 13, y yo en estas plataformas imensas! Como van a poder ver en las fotos de abajo, chiki (mi perrito) decidió acompañarme en algunas fotos pero por un momento se me desapareció y cuando salió estaba todo mojado..Se había metido en el lago! GRACIAS por visitar el blog! Son las mejores!
