There's something magical about flowy maxi dress.. I always wear them when I have no idea what to wear- or when I want to be comfortable but still look put together. I wore this last week to go to my boyfriend's house for his sister's birthday. It was a small get-together but I always have a need to dress up a little more to be with his family. I wanted to wear flats or a small heel- but I'm so short that all maxi dresses are VERY long on me. The dress is also very sheer on top- reason why I went for my favorite bra: the bralette (I have it in several colors and different styles). I hope you liked the look and have an amazing week!!!

Siento que hay algo mágico en los vestidos largos con movimiento...siempre los utilizo cuando no tengo idea de que ponerme o cuando simplemente quiero estar cómoda (pero arreglada). Esto lo utilicé para ir al cumpleaños de la hermana de mi novio- y por muy pequeña que sea la reunión...siempre siento la necesidad de arreglarme un poquito más con su familia (estoy segura que muchas de ustedes me entienden). Hubiese querido usar unos zapatos más bajitos, pero todos los vestidos largos me quedan...largos! El vestido es bastante transparente en la parte de arriba; por eso recurrà a los bralettes (tengo strapless y de muchos colors...son lo mejor ya que si se ve, es solo un poco de encaje). ¡Espero que les haya gustado este look y que tengan una bonita semana!
While most of the north is getting ready for fall... in Miami, we still have like two more months of crazy hot temperatures. So today's looks is definitely "summery" and it's party of a small collaboration I'm doing with Levi's and Lookbook.nu. Generally, I try to look for dresses that highlight my waist...however, this season there are a lot of dropped waist sillouhettes and I love it....these types of dresses are extremely comfortable. I paired this floral dress with a tan bag and shoes and a fedora. I wore this on Sunday for a family day and ceviche. Hope you liked it! XOXO

Puede que el hemisferio norte se esté preparando para el otoño....pero aquà en Miami todavÃa nos quedan como 2 meses de temperaturas extremadamente calientes. Asà que hoy les traigo otro look bastante veraniego parte de una pequeña colaboración que estoy haciendo con Lookbook.nu y Levi's. Generalmente me gusta buscar vestidos que resalten mi cintura, pero para la próxima temporada vienen muchas siluetas de "cintura caÃda"...que por cierto son comodÃsimos. Quise combinar el vestidito floral con accessorios color camello y una fedora. Esto fue lo que utilicé el domingo, un dÃa familiar y de ceviche! Espero que les haya gustado! Abrazos!!

The third day of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim was amazing, and a little long too! It started at the TRESemme suite where Marco Peña, celebrity hairstylist, did my hair- we went for natural bohemian/beachy waves to go with my striped dress. Gabo came with me to the suite; we ate, drank, try new products, and did a fun video with a Jennifer Lopez song (the "I wanna dance"one). After that, I met with a UK magazine called Grazia UK and they took some outfit pics! Then we headed backstage where Marco Peña was in charge of doing the mode's hair, and Gabo had lots of fun taking some candid pictures of the models. Finally, we went to the "Agua Bendita" fashion show- which was AMAZING; I absolutely loved the prints and the bright colors. Oh and btw, the stripe dress was not only because it was perfect for the Miami heat... it worked with this week's challenge too. I hope you like the pictures! XOXO

El tercer dÃa de Mercedes Benz Fashion Week en Miami fue otro dÃa largo y espectacular- empecé en la suite de TRESemme en donde Marco Peña, estilista de celebridades, me peinó con unas ondas naturales y bohemias que fueran con mi vestido largo. Gabo me acompaño a la suite de TRESemme; y aparte de probar productos de la nueva colección, tuvimos que hacer un pequeño video con unos cartelitos y de fondo una canción de Jennifer Lopez. Después me reunà con una revista de Inglaterra llamada Gracia UK y me tomaron unas fotos. Ya más tardecita tuvimos la oportunidad de ir a los bastidores donde estaban peinando y maquillando a las modelos del siguiente desfile. Y finalmente fuimos al desfile de Agua Bendito, el cual me fascinó por sus estampados y colores- pueden ver muchas fotitos debajo. Sobre mi outfit: me morÃa por usar este vestido de rayitas (no solo por el reto, sino que fue perfecto para el calor infernal de Miami). Espero que disfruten las fotos... se que son muchÃsimas! Un abrazo grande!
I've always said that when it comes to fashion, inspiration is all around us. A couple of weeks ago, I saw Tati, from Furor Moda, wearing an all-white outfit with a fun leopard cardigan and I loved it so much that I even wanted to borrow her cardigan. Then for the "Fashion Blogger's Do it Better" fashion show, I wore a similar outfit with pieces from IShine365 (instead of a black tube top, I had a fringed bikini top). Later, I was looking through outfits from celebrities couples to do a "look for less" with Gabo and I saw Miley wearing high waisted shorts with a tube top and a plaid shirt. So I took in all the inspiration and gave it my own twist. This is what I wore on Saturday- casual and comfy but still appropriate for this crazy Miami heat. I hope you liked it! Siempre he dicho que cuando se trata de moda, la inspiración está en todos lados- hace unas semanas vi a Tati, de Furor Moda, toda vestida de blanco pero con una blusa de leopardo abierta y tenÃa ganas de copiarle el look. Luego para el desfile de "Fashion Bloggers Do it Better", la tienda de IShine365 me puso en un outfit muy muy similar a este- solo que en vez de tener un top negro debajo, tenÃa un traje de baño de flecos color militar. Luego querÃa hacer un look de celebridades con Gabo, y vi a Miley con unos shorts de este estilo, un top negro, y una camisa de cuadritos. Asà que decidà mezclar un poquito todas las ideas para darle mi toque personal. Este fue mi outfit del sábado- casual y cómodo! Espero que les haya gustado este look, pronto verán un remix de esta blusa ya que ya la han visto varias veces y probablemente no se han dado cuenta porque han sido totalmente diferentes! Un abrazo grandÃsimo!
After days and days of unstoppable rain (it got so crazy that you couldn't even drive where I live because of the water on the streets)... the sun was finally out, which means crazy heat and humidity. Reason why I wanted to wear my favorite skirt: it's not only gorgeous with the prettiest coral color, it's also very flawy and light (perfect for this weather). Even though it's already sold out at 2020ave, I left a link below with different stores that have similar styles. I wore this yesterday to visit my friend and owner of Furor Moda, Tatiana- we spent hours and hours talking and playing with clothes, as usual. Oh by the way, the star you see in the pic is not a real tattoo, it's a temporary one from Inkwear. Years ago I wanted a star there, but A LOT smaller- but I never got it because I always change my mind... reason why it's better to play with this temporal tattoos. Do you have any tattoos? Después de dÃas y dÃas de lluvia (tanto asà que por donde vivo, las calles se inundaron tanto que no se podÃa manejar)... salió el sol, y con él vino una humedad y calor increÃble. Razón por la cual decidà usar mi falda favorita- que aparte de tener un color espectacular, es vaporosa para este calorón (aunque esta agotada en 2020ave, les deje una página con muchas faldas similares abajo). Esto fue lo que utilicé para ir a visitar a Tati de Furor Moda ayer- estuvimos hablando por horas y horas, sobre todo planeando algunas cositas y más. Por cierto, el "tatuaje" de estrellita que tengo en la mano no es de verdad- es de una página llamada Inkwearque tienen muchÃsimos tatuajes temporales (duran entre 3 y 5 dÃas). Hace años querÃa una estrella en la muñeca, pero MUCHO más chiquita- nunca me hice ningún tatuaje porque soy muy indecisa, por eso me gusto la idea de jugar con estos temporales. ¿Tienen algún tatuaje? ¿O te harÃas uno? I have to admit that I have a couple of outfits ready to go (but I can't publish them until they are featured in a super cool website, so excited about that! and I'm still not sure when it's going to be up). So for now, I wanted to show you these pics from a photoshoot I did with Furor Moda a couple of weeks ago- specially because I loved this outfit and the background we chose for it. I also wanted to invite all of the Miami/South Florida girls to a fashion show Furor Moda is having next week (Tati is trying to make me model, but I don't know! I'm definitely not a model). Les tengo que admitir que tengo varios outfits acumulados que no puedo publicar (ya que van a salir en una página de moda bastante conocida... **que emoción** y todavÃa no se cuando va a salir). Asà que por ahora comparto más fotitos de mi sesión de fotos con Furor Moda de hace unas semanas- especialmente me encantaron estas fotos y estoy enamorada de esta falda larga tribal. También querÃa aprovechar esta oportunidad para invitar a todas las que viven en Miami a un show de moda que va a tener Furor la semana que viene (Tati me esta intentando convencer para que modele, pero me da mucha pena- yo no soy modelo!).
