Esta semana me uno a Flor de MarÃa Fashion para empezar algo que llamaremos "Te reto a...". En esta sección semanal, retamos a todas las bloggers y lectoras a usar ciertas tendencias- y nos encantarÃa que nos acompañaran. Cada martes publicaremos el reto, y el lunes de la siguiente semana, compartiremos como lo usamos nosotras y pondremos un espacio para que ustedes dejen el link de sus artÃculos. Esta idea fue inspirada en "Bloggers Do It Better"- pero queremos darle nuestro toque único y personal. Queremos que las latinas y bloggers de habla hispana participen y que sea algo semana. Esperamos que les guste la idea; regresa mañana para ver el reto de la semana que viene.

This week, I teamed up with Flor de MarÃa Fashion- we decided to start something called "I challenge you to...". In this weekly special, we challenge our readers and bloggers around the globe to wear specific trends- and we would love if you could join us. Every Tuesday we'll publish next week's challenge, on Mondays: we'll show you how we wear the trend and you'll be able to share your link&outfit. We were inspired by "Bloggers do it better" but we want to give our own twist to it! Come back tomorrow to check out next week's challenge!

Esta semana empezamos con faldas largas, son cómodas y -si escoges la de la tela correcta, puedes usarlas durante el verano o durante el invierno. Esta vez estoy utilizando una falda larga un poco arriesgada ya que como pueden ver es de estampado de leopardo. Por esta razón quise mantener el look simple y con pocos accesorios. Esta falda la han visto como "bufanda", pero originalmente es una falda y hoy quise usarla como tal. Sobre mi dÃa: estuvimos horas en un parque de perritos al lado de la playa- el dÃa estaba espectacular (voy a dejar que las fotos de abajo hablen por si solas!)
This week we are going to start with maxi skirts- they are comfy but super chic- and if you choose the right fabric you can wear them during the winter or during the summer. As you can see, I'm wearing a leopard print maxi skirt- which IS a little harder to wear than a solid maxi. Reason why I kept the look simple with basic pieces and not many accessories. You have seen this skirt before... as a "scarf"- isn't that crazy? About my day: We spent hours at a doggy park right beside the beach- it was so pretty outside (I'm gonna let the pics below speak for themselves)!

Before heading to the awards, I wanted to take some pictures of my outfit at the hotel lobby- I didn't want to take my bff's huge camera. I had so much fun, we got to see the celebrities at the red carpet: we took pictures, videos, and we talked with them a little. The show was amazing too, I loved the performances- specially Don Omar's and Pitbull's. Then, we headed to the after party, I had to leave extremely early because I'm having a family trip this weekend. I'm so grateful that Telemundo invited me to be part of this opportunity! About my outfit: this dress used to be my mom's. She wore it to a wedding 20 years ago, I took it to a tailor because it was LONG and it was a little big on my. I paired it with a simple black blazer to balance out the shiny sequins! Have a great weekend! xoxo
Antes de salir para los billboard, me quise tomar unas fotos detalladas del outfit en el lobby del hotel ya que no querÃa llevar la cámara grande para los premios. De verdad que la pasé buenÃsimo, pudimos ver a los artistas en la alfombra roja: tomarles fotos, videos y hablar un poco con ellos. Luego disfruté muchÃsimo el show, especialmente las presentaciones de los cantantes. Después fui un ratito a la fiesta de Telemundo pero me tuve que regresar rápido porque tengo un viaje familiar este fin de semana! Ya veran fotitos. Estoy super agradecida con Telemundo por esta oportunidad! Sobre mi outfit: este era un vestido que mi mamá utilizó hace 20 años en una boda- lo corté muchÃsimo porque era EXTRA largo. Lo combiné con un blazer para equilibrar el libro de las lentejuelas! FELIZ FIN!
Yesterday, I wanted to wear another thrift store shirt- I love the cut and the bright blue (I think it was around $3!). I paired it with a necklace from Pop of Chic (Isn't it beautiful!?) and a floral skirt. Finally I added the nude pumps and the gold bag. About my day: I worked in the morning, had lunch with the family and we ended going to this beautiful park Downtown. There were dogs running around (poor chiqui was on a leash because he's not that friendly with MALE dogs), people doing yoga, and jogging. Ayer querÃa usar otra de las camisas vintage que compré (esta salió en $3). Me encantó el color y el modelo es super versátil y clásico- buscando entre mis faldas vi está que tenÃa el mismo tono de azul en las flores! Luego me pareció que le hacÃa falta un collar y este de Pop of Chic es una hermosura - finalmente le agregué los zapatos nude y mi carterita dorada. Sobre mi dÃa, nada del otro mundo: trabajé un poco, comimos familiarmente y luego fui a un parque espectacular en Downtown. HabÃan miles de perritos jugando y corriendo- pobre chiqui, lo tenÃa con la cuerdita porque es medio pelión con los machos jaja. También habÃa gente haciendo ejercicio, yoga y más! Super lindo el lugar. Les querÃa contar que empecé un reto de Cover Girl, les cuento abajo de que se trata. Feliz Martes!! Besos!
