At the beginning of the week I invited my Miami girls to a fun event called StyleWars- I have so many fun pictures that I decided to divide the post in two: what I wore and the actual event. I have to admit that dressing up for the event wasn't easy- I wanted something that truly represented my style since we were going to be judge somehow. After going to class, I waited for hours for the mailman to arrive...hoping he will have a fun package for me. When I was about to leave the house, he was ther- and I couldn't resist to wear this shirt. I added the hat because we were supposed to bring accessories to the event, and I was taking it anyway. Finally I added simple jewelry and this gorgeous shoes with glitter and studs. Come back tomorrow to check out pics of the event, the looks we created, and to see what was all about. XOXO

A principios de esta semana las invité a un evento llamado StyleWars y tengo muchísimas fotos del evento como tal así que preferí dividirlo en dos partes- hoy les pongo fotos de lo que usé y después del evento como tal. Les tengo que admitir que vestirme para este evento fue un poco complicado; quería usar algo que representara mi estilo, y al ser una competencia de estilo...sabía que iba a ser juzgada yo también de alguna forma u otra. Esa tarde estuve esperando como una loca al correo, y dos segundos antes de salir de mi casa llegó esta camisa... y no pude esperar para usarla! Para la competencia teníamos que llevar accesorios y quería llevar este sombrero- así que porque no usarlo puesto de una. Finalmente agregué estos zapatos con escarcha y tachas... y listo. Regresa mañana para ver fotos de la "competencia", ver de que se trataba, y los looks! Abrazos grandotes!

I'm a little upset because the colors are a little wrong in these pictures -especially the skirt which is a really bright coral. Yesterday was an extremely rainy day and the weather made it seem like we were using a gray filter on the camara. Well.. let's talk about my outfit! One of my favorite shirts was a lace shirt from Forever 21- but as everything from that store, I wasn't expecting it to last forever (*REMIX HERE**) So I replace it with this one from Jolie Molie (excellent quality and I know I'm going to wear it a lot too). Since the main focus of the look was the bright skirt, I kept the look very neutral and simple. Also, I'm in LOVE with these shoes; I felt like my "shoe collection" needed an update and these from  LoveShoppingMiami were exactly what I was looking for (can you believe they are only $34!?). I hope you liked this look with a romantic vibe- also you can switch to flats and it's the a put-together look for the summer! Hope you are having an amazing weekend! XOXO

Estoy un poco molesta porque el color de esta falda no se aprecia bien en estas fotos (es más neón)- estuvo lloviendo todo el día y parecía que la cámara tenía un filtro gris. Pero bueno...les cuento de mi look!  Una de mis camisas más usadas era una de encaje de Forever 21- pero como todo lo de Forever 21, no esperaba que durara toda la vida (**REMIX AQUI**)- así que quise reemplazarla por esta de Jolie Molie, la calidad es excelente y se que le voy a sacar mucho provecho. Para que el centro de atención fuera la falda coral de  StyleGodis, mantuve el outfit bastante neutral con cremas/blancos. Ahora sobre los zapatos: hace unos meses sentí que necesitaba "modernizar" un poquito mis zapatos, y estos de LoveShoppingMiami son exactamente lo que quería- aparte que pueden creer que solo cuestan $34!! Espero que les haya gustado este look con un aire romanticón- también al usarlo con unos flats/sandalias nude, se vuelve perfecto para el día a día veraniego.
