Generally, I don't post on Saturdays but I have so many looks to publish and I don't want to keep posting looks a month old... so let's do this! I have been wearing this Furor shirt non-stop, it really has been with me for several adventures...but how not to? it is so versatile. When I was packing for NYC, I really wanted to take extremely versatile pieces that I could make infinite combinations (hence the majority of looks are black and white... it's harder to pack with a lot of colors). That day, Gabo and I had brunch at a place called Red Rooster in Harlem...it was delicious (if you stop by...be very hungry because the portions are huge). Hope you are enjoying your weekend!! XOXO

Generalmente los sábados he estado publicando looks pero ya que no quiero tener looks de Nueva York hasta el mes que viene, vamos a adelantar un poquito con más looks a la semana. Esta camisa de Furor me ha estado acompañando en muchísimas aventuras.... y es que ¿cómo no? Es tan versátil que la   quiero usar con todo. A Nueva York me llevé muchas piezas que pudiese combinar muchísimo entre si (razón por la cual casi todos los looks han sido blanco/negro... hubiese querido llevarme mis piezas coloridas, pero son más difíciles de combinar). Ese día fuimos a brunch por Harlem... comimos riquísimo (si les interesa el sitio se llama "Red Rooster... y prepárense que las cantidades son inmensas). Espero que estén disfrutan su fin de semana al máximo! Un abrazo inmenso!

And here's a post more about NYC than my outfit , which is very simple as you can see. While Gabo was in the Big Apple, we had to stop at Times Square. Even though it's always full of tourist, I absolutely love the vibe of that place: the lights, the multitude, the stores, etc. After that, we headed to a bar with a couple of friends that went to school with Gabo in Puerto Rico. Hoy les traigo un post más sobre Nueva York que sobre mi outfit. Uno de los días de los que Gabo estuvo en NYC, fuimos a Times Square- una de las paradas obligatorias en la gran manzana.Aunque es un lugar extremadamente turístico, me encantan las luces, las tiendas, la multitud, etc. Fuimos a un bar con unos amigos que estudiaron con Gabo en Puerto Rico después... razón por la cual quise usar un vestidito y tacones.  Espero que les gusten las fotos y no olviden seguir a Gabo en instagram @gabrielsanchezpr o por facebook para ver más de su trabajo!

And here's another look from New York Fashion Week! I wore this last Monday to go to the Mathieu Mirano show, I really loved it...and them I stopped by the Covergirl Beauty Lounge. I really needed some pampering time that included: a makeup/hair re-touch (since the rain kept messing with it), and a manicure. I'm very happy with the new Covergirl nail-polish; I have a couple of Essie nailpolishes and they don't even last two days. This time, the Covergirl nailpolished lasted me almost a week (definitely a record for me!) About my outfit: I wanted to wear pants with a fun print, so I chose this from H&M. I wanted to add a little more color with a burgundy top, and of course: a leather jacket to try to stay a little warm. If you are wondering, yes I wore a big coat to walk to and from the subway- but that way the actual outfit cannot be seen.   Have an amazing week...thanks for stopping by! XOXO

¡Y seguimos con los looks de la Semana de la Moda en Nueva York! Esto fue lo que utilicé el lunes pasado para ir al show de Mathieu Mirano, que me encantó, y luego pasar por el Beauty Lounge de Covergirl. Ahí nos consintieron a un grupo de bloggeras; me retocaron el maquillaje y el cabello (que no paraban de dañarse con la lluvia y la falta de paraguas). También nos hicieron la manicura; algo que necesitaba urgentemente. Y sinceramente estoy encantada con la nueva pintura de uñas de Covergirl; a mi las de otras marcas se me dañan instantáneamente, y esta estuvo 6 días intacta. Sobre mi outfit: quise utilizar estos pantalones con estampado una vez más- pero esta vez contrastarlo con el color vino de la camisa y por supuesto, una chaqueta por el frío. El propósito del sombrero era para que no se me mojara tanto el cabello por la lluvia...pero fue un intento fallido. Espero que les haya gustado este look! Un abrazo inmenso...les deseo una bonita semana!  

Here's the second look I wore during New York's Fashion Week. I wore it to three shows/presentations: Lela Rose, Cynthia Rowley and Nina Skarra. I really wanted to wear something that made an impact...and what better way that wearing neon colors. Even though it looks like a bright dress, it's actually a skirt but the amazing neon collar of THIS shirt.  And of course...the layers: a warm black sweater, a faux-leather jacket, and a big coat for walking to/from the subway. Finally, I added a necklace with a pop of neon, gold accessories, and some cat-eye sunglasses (it was a gorgeous-sunny day). Do you like this look? Aquí les traigo mi segundo look durante la Semana de la Moda en Nueva York. Esto fue lo que utilicé para ir a los shows de Lela Rose, Cynthia Rowley, y Nina Skarra. Tenía ganas de usar algo llamativo y que más llamativo que piezas neón. Quise crear un efecto visual de que estaba usando un vestido neón, cuando el realidad es una falda + el cuello de ESTA camisa de furor. Y bueno, no podían faltar las capas: un suéter calientito negro, una chaqueta de "cuero" encima, y un abrigo. Terminé el look con un collar con un toque de neón, accesorios dorados, y unos lentes cat-eye (aprovechando que finalmente salió el sol). ¿Qué opinan de este look? ¿Han usado color neón en el invierno? Un abrazo grandotote
