The past few months, I have not been the blogger- and that's okay. At the end, that's the beauty of it.  This is our choice, we decide how often to blog, how much to share, and as long as we love it.

These pictures are from last Summer, we went to Boston for a wedding and we had so much fun exploring it.

So here's a little update from things I've shared on Instagram.

Changes are coming to the blog! www.nanyramirez.com already works and takes you to this page and now I am @Nany on Instagram. The opportunity to change my last name came and I had to take it!

I don't want you guys to think Nany's Klozet will "diet", it is EXPANDING. Nany's Klozet will still be the fashion section. I'm open to ideas, topics, anything you would like to see. I want NANY to be "closer", I want to share the "not-so-perfect" moments, blogging tips, more lifestyle, more travel. What do you guys think?

Los últimos meses no he sido la MEJOR blogger, pero está bien. Recuerden que esa es la belleza de tener un blog. Es tu decisión, tu decides cada cuando actualizar, que tanto compartir. Lo importante es que lo disfrutes.

Estas fotos se me escondieron pero son del verano cuando fuimos a Boston por la boda, la pasamos espectacular explorando.

Ok aquí les cuento un poco de lo que ha pasado.

¡POR AHI VIENEN CAMBIOS! La página web www.nanysramirez.com ya funciona y te trae acá, y ahora soy @nany en Instagram. La oportunidad de cambiar mi nombre en IG sucedió y tenía que aprovechar.

No quiero que piensen que "Nany's Klozet" desaparece o muero, más bien me estoy EXPANDIENDO. Seguirá siendo la sección de moda. Pero me encantaría oír más de lo que quieren ver. Nany va a ser más personal, más cerca y mas YO. Quiero compartir los momentos no tan perfectos, consejos de blog, viajes, y más.  ¿Qué opinan?

Like I mentioned, the reason why we were in Boston was that Gabe's high school bff, Vice, was getting married (and well, he lives there).  Vice and his wife has the cutest baby girl, and we really wanted to spend time with them since we don't see them very often.

Our day started in Bunker Hill where we walked, had a late lunch, and walked some more! I was wearing my favorite white ripped jeans with the "not -so- perfect"white tee and a camo jacket. As you can see, I wore these items a lot but pairing them with different pieces to really take advantage of my small luggage in Boston.

I'm almost done with the Boston pics, I really loved the city. Can't wait to go back.

Como les mencioné, la razón por la que estábamos en Boston fue por la boda del mejor amigo de colegio de Gabe. El vive allá con su ahora esposa y la hijita (que no tienen idea lo linda que es), y de verdad queríamos pasar la mayor cantidad de tiempo posible con ellos ya que no los vemos seguido.

Esta vez estuvimos conociéndola zona de Bunker Hill donde caminamos hasta más no poder con un descanso para almorzar. 

Sobre mi look: estuve rehusando mucho las piezas que llevé a Boston para realmente sacarle provecho a todo.

Todavía tengo algunas fotitos de este viaje. Pero ya quiero que vean las de New Orleans, Miramar Beach y Orlando. ¡BESOS!

I kept comparing Boston's weather the week  I visited to Caracas'💓 not too warm... but out of nowhere, it was a whole different story (it was so HOT!).

When packing, I always lay down outfits and plan what I'm going to wear (plus I always bring extra options just in case)...this was a total improvised one but it was too hot for anything else .

This embroidered sheer top is definitely a statement piece. I can't wait to wear them over a swimsuit, with some autumn layers, with a denim short underneath, or even a slip dress.

How would you wear it?

Llevaba días diciendo que el clima de Boston estaba más que perfecto (como el de Caracas🙏🏼😍)...pero uno de los días, el calor de los últimos días de verano salió a relucir.

Cuando hago maleta, me gusta poner todo en el piso y planear lo mejor que pueda  y sacarle provecho a todo lo que llevo. Estas piezas no las iba a usar necesariamente juntas, pero funcionó perfecto para un calor muy estilo Miami.

Esta camisa larga transparente es definitivamente una de esas piezas WOW pero eso no significa que no puedas sacarle provecho. Me la imagino sobre trajes de baño, con más capas en otoño, y más elegante con un vestidito negro de tiritas.

¿Cómo lo usarías tu?

Pretending I'm super cool in Acorn Street 🤣...but the truth is, it was a bad idea to be wearing these boots in a cobblestoned street! According to Wiki, " Acorn Street in Beacon Hill is often mentioned as the "most frequently photographed street in the United States." It is a narrow lane paved with cobblestones that was home to coachmen employed by families in Mt. Vernon and Chestnut Street mansions"

 Also, I totally stole this hoodie from Mr. Gabe. He rocks as a shirt, the fit for me is more like a hoodie dress- which I LOVED, especially when paired with these over-the-knee boots.

Dándome de la mas cool en una de las calles de piedritas más antigua de Boston llamada Acorn Street (la cual también, según Wiki, es una de las calles más fotografiadas de Estados Unidos) - pero si les soy sincera, fue una mala idea andar caminando por ahí con estas botas.

El hoodie/suéter es de Mr. Gabe. Obviamente a el le queda genial como camisa- a mi me quedaba larga como un vestidito (cosa que me encantó). Me parece que este estilo de suéter ancho se ve genial con botas a la rodilla para esos días de otoño que están a la vuelta de la esquina.

This day, I put my sneakers and we walked, and walked, and walked around Boston!

Confession, the last time I visited it was right after a summer camp ( I was almost 13) and I hated it! Boy, Little-Teenage-Nany was WRONG...this city is BEAUTIFUL 💓💓 

We headed to a few places you guys recommended: Chloe (vegan place), the Aquarium, Acorn Street, and we had pastries in Vittoria in North End! While we walked, the eclipse was happening and we had no glasses...but a sweet older man and his family let us use theirs; and it was MAGIC 🌞🌚 were you able to see it?💛

Como dice mi mami, hoy caminamos mas que cochino chiquito 🐖🐖🤣🤣 fuimos a muchos de los lugares que me recomendaron en la foto anterior (¡mil gracias!!) y de verdad que estoy enamorada de esta ciudad😍😍

Les confieso que la primera (y única vez) que fui, fue después de un campamento a unas 3 horas de Boston cuando tenía 13 años- y no me gustó para nada. Digamos que la Nany de 13 años no tenía idea lo que estaba hablando.

Mientras caminábamos, todo el mundo estaba afuera por el eclipse ...y nosotros los únicos sin lentes🙄🙄 (por despistados jajaja) pero un señor y su familia nos prestaron los de ellos...y WOW que mágico! ¿Lo pudieron ver?🌑🌞🌙

Aparentemente esta es la foto cliche en un parque en Boston que se llama Lawn on D . Este parque tiene food trucks, bebidas, juegos (que si Jenga gigante, bolas criollas, etc), y estos columpios que no pasaban ni un segundo desocupados (es que entre IG, Stories, Snap, y Boomerangs una fotico se convierte en una sesión). ¡  Todavía tengo fotos por compartir de Boston, poco a poco iré actualizando el blog!

Después fuimos caminando a un restaurante mexicano en el arena (DIVINO). Pero soy un desastre y nunca me acuerdo de los nombres. Mi look es mi uniforme cuando me siento edgy- cómodo y cool para explorar una ciudad.
