I can't believe how fast the time is going by, it feels like the Fashion For A Cause shoot we did last year was just a month away. This year the photoshoot, with the same great photographer Alexander Tamargo from AltaImages, was even bigger- more than 30 Miami fashion bloggers supported this important cause. I just want to remind you how important it is to "touch yourself"; don't be afraid , it's the best way to catch this illness in its early stages. This year's tee is from Peace Love World, and the proceeds from its sale goes to finding the cure. There will also be a cool display with all the pictures in Bloomingdales Aventura and The Falls Shopping Center.
EVENT: "BLOOMIES AND BLOGGERS x Fashion For a Cause"
When? October 17th, 2013 from 6-9pm
Where? Blomingdales Aventura.
Bloggers will be hitting the catwalk to support "Breast Cancer Awareness" wearing Peace Love World and the latest fall collections at Bloomingdales. There will be a styling station by Blo, cupcakes by Bunniecakes, and sips by Societe Perrier.

No puedo creer lo rápido que pasa el tiempo, me parece que fue ayer que las bloggeras de Miami tomamos las fotos de "Fashion For a Cause" del año pasado. Este año la sesión de fotos fue con el mismo fotógrafo, Alexander Tamargo de @AltaImages- y cada vez somos más, este año más de 30 bloggeras de moda nos reunimos para apoyar esta causa tan importante. Me parece importantÃsimo crear conciencia y recordarles la importancia de autoexaminarse. La camisa de este año es Peace Love World, y parte de los fondos recaudados van para encontrar la cura de esta terrible enfermedad. Este año, van a poder ver las fotos en el Bloomingdales de Aventura Mall y "the Falls Shopping Center" hasta el final del mes.
EVENTO "BLOOMIES AND BLOGGERS x FASHION FOR A CAUSE":
¿Cuándo? El 17 de Octubre del 2013 de 6 a 9pm.
¿Dónde? Bloomingdales de Aventura
En este evento, gran parte de las bloggers que participaron van a estar modelando en una pasarela junto a Peace Love World y las últimas colecciones de esta tienda por departmento. Aparte va a haber un estación para arreglarse el cabello gracias a Blo, ponquecitos de BunnieCakes, y bebidas Societe Perrier.

A couple of months ago I added this "leather" vest to my monthly wishlist because I know how versatile it was going to be- and so appropriate to layer in this hot Miami weather. As you can see, I've worn it ith leggings, jeans, dresses, and skirts.... and the best part is the rocker feeling it gives to the look. Let me know which one is your favorite.
Also I'm so excited that H&M is finally opening in Miami; the closest one as like an hour and a half away. So let's celebrate with a $200 giftcard for you to shop there. You only have to show me your favorite H&M look.

Hace unos meses puse en mi lista de compras un chaleco de cuero negro, son igual de versátiles que una chaqueta pero más apropiado para el clima de Miami. Como pueden ver, lo he usado con leggings, jeans, vestidos, y faldas....y lo mejor de todo es que le da un toque rocker a cualquier look. Cuéntame cual es tu favorito.
Les querÃa comentar que finalmente mañana abren H&M en Miami, en la Linconl Road. El H&M que tenÃamos más cerca era a una hora y media- asà que se podrán imaginar la emoción. Asà que para celebrar les tengo un pequeño concurso donde pueden ganar $200 en una tarjeta de regalo... lo único tienes que hacer es mostrarme tu look a lo H&M favorito por Twitter.
