If you follow me on Instagram (@nanysklozet) you probably saw my excitement after the "Despierta America" fashion segment on Friday. This show is one of the biggest morning shows in the hispanic community in the United States. I'll share the behind the scenes pictures at the studio, but first I'm waiting for them to post the video on Univision.com so you can see it too. Btw, that's why I have so much makeup up...TV makeup is aways crazy heavy. For the show, I wanted to wear these cute shorts with a simple black blouse and some gold accessories. However since it was so cold inside the studios and chilly outside, I wore a warm knit sweater. Finally, I ditched my small bags and grabbed a big one because I was running around with so many things. I picked this gorgeous nude bag from Furor Moda. After returning the clothes the models used on the segment right after it aired, I headed to a fitting for a cool project I have this week. Si me siguen en Instagram (@Nanysklozet) tal vez vieron que estuve en el programa "Despierta América" el viernes (que emoción). Pronto compartiré fotos detrás de cámara en el estudio, estoy esperando a que suban el video en Univision.com para compartirlo en ese artÃculo también. Por eso es que estoy tan maquillada. Como van a ver, quise usar estos shorts que han visto anteriormente con una blusa negra- y ya que hacÃa frÃo en el estudio y afuera, usé este suéter vino tinto. Como tenÃa mil cosas que cargar, opté por una cartera grande clásica de color nude de Furor Moda. Después del segmento de moda, corrà a devolver las cosas que me habÃan prestado. Y luego a probarme la ropa para un proyecto muy chevere que voy a estar haciendo esta semana...ya les contaré más. Espero que estén disfrutan su domingo, yo ando en mi dÃa de trabajos para el postgrado. Les mando un abrazo inmenso.

This week went by incredibly fast! I feel like we needed more time to do this challenge- I have been waiting almost a month for a package from Romwe.com (which included the perfect metallic sweater for this challenge).. however, things happen and it didn't arrive on time. So this was my plan B, my amazing gold/metallic jeans from Mango (already worn with a black blazer and simple white tee, and with a black shirt and detachable gold collar). I wore this to go out with a couple of friends- I'm so excited because there's a cold front right now in Miami and I can't wait to wear something less summery tomorrow (I say only tomorrow because I know it's going to last like two days)! ¡Que rápido pasó esta semana! Siento que fue ayer que publicamos el reto de usar metálicos- llevo desde el mes pasado esperando un pedido que hice en Romwe (el cual incluÃa un suétercito metálico que hubiera sido perfecto).. pero que se va a hacer, no llegó a tiempo. Asà que opté por mi plan B, estos jeans dorado metálico que han visto en dos ocasiones (la primera con un blazer negro y camisa blanca, y la segunda con una camisa blanca y un cuello dorado). Esto fue lo que utilicé para salir un ratito con unos amigos- les cuento que hoy bajó la temperatura muchÃsimo en Miami, estoy emocionada porque mañana puedo ponerme algo más abrigadito. I'm officially obsessed with collars- I even want to do my first DIY by adding pearls to the collar of a simple blouse! I felt in love with this Akira leopard collar, I love how it transforms a simple shirt like this one. I wanted to wear it with black pants so the leopard accent will really stand out (but then I realized I need to buy simple black pants)- and these dark red pants kept calling me... I know I know I've worn them like crazy (they are even ready for a remix, it'll probably be up this week). I wore this to eat at an amazing cuban restaurant and then I headed to the university- I don't have class on Fridays but I needed to do some paperwork. Since we were with Chiki, we stopped by park that's close by school. Hope you are having an AMAZING weekend! XOXO
________________________________Ultimamente estoy obsesionada con los cuellos decorados- vi uno de como agregarle perlas a una camisa blanca y queda ESPECTACULAR (tal vez intenté el primer DIY por aquÃ, ¿qué les parece?). Este cuello de leopardo es de "Akira" y me encanta porque transformó esta camisa básica negra. QuerÃa usarlo con un pantalon negro de manera que solo resaltara el cuello de leopardo- pero estos pantalones me llaman y me llaman... aparte que con este look completo el #5 y está listo el remix con ellos. Esto fue lo que utilicé para ir a comer comida cubana y pasar por la universidad a hacer una diligencia rápido (como estabamos con Chiki, decidimos parar un segundo en un parque cerca de la uni). FELIZ FIN DE SEMANA!
I had a lot of time without wearing my red jeans (click here to see how I've worn them)- this time I decided to paired them with a sheer blouse as a cardigan, a simple tank top, and touches of leopard. The sheer blouse is originally super elegant, I know I would wear it as a button up to. This is another "modified outfit"- I wore it to school without the fedora and black flats. However, I got out super early of my first final so I spent the day with my parents (they are visiting from Venezuela). TenÃa tiempo sin usar mis pantalones rojos (si quieres ver como los he usado, haz click aquÃ), asà que esta vez decidà combinarlos con leopardo y una blusa transparente como si fuera un "blazer" o cardigan- es tan delgado que es perfecto para el calor de Miami pero cubre un poco en el frÃo de los aires acondicionados. Este es otro outfit "modificado"; para lo universidad lo utilicé sin la federa y con flats color negro- pero salà super temprano de mi primer examen final entonces salà a comer y a pasar con mis papás que están visitando en Miami. De resto: como les digo, estoy en examenes finales asà que a estudiar mucho. Espero sus comentarios, mil mil gracias por visitar el blog! Un abrazo grandÃsimo a todas!

I spent most of my Sunday doing a final project for school- I was so excited about it that I kept posting pics on Facebook. I think I'm going to dedicate a full post here just because I'm so proud of my hard work. While I was covered in pink paint, I got a text from my friend/blogger/boutique-owner, Tati- she invited me to have a super late brunch so I headed midtown. I wanted to wear something casual but still a little put-together; I got this shirt the other day at Forever 21 and I felt in love with it (and it's only $14)- I'm sure you are going to see it here A LOT. I also imagine this shirt+necklace with a simple black shirt and nude pumps for a ladylike/feminine look. Oh btw... a lot of you thought I cut my bangs; but I didn't. I was wearing clip-on bangs- I love them, they look so natural. However, I really want to get a makeover :) Thanks for stopping by. XOXO
El domingo estuve todo el dÃa haciendo el proyecto final para una clase- estuve compartiendo fotitos por Facebook de como iba pero estoy tan emocionada que tengo ganas de hacer un artÃculo completo mostrándoles como quedó desde todos los ángulos. Mientras estaba fajadÃsima pintando, recibà un mensajito de mi amiga Tati (de Furor y Gold Plated Dreams) invitándome a un almuerzo super tarde. QuerÃa usar algo casual pero arregladito al mismo tiempo- estoy enamorada de esta camisa (es de Forever 21 y apenas costó $14 ); se que la voy a usar muchÃsimo. También me la imagino con el collar pero con una falda negra y unos tacones sencillos para un look más fomal y femenino. Por cierto, querÃa aclararles que no me corte el flequillo (pollina, fleco, o como le digan)- en las fotos anteriores tenÃa unas extensiones que se quitan y se ponen. Pero tengo ganas de hacerme un cambio de look bastante drámatico... tal vez las sorprenda pronto. Un abrazo gigante a todas!
