I'm going to make this post short, I'm heading out to a city 4 hours away from Miami for the wedding of Steffy (from Steffy's pros and cons). I wore this last week for after a Univision segment (hence, the amount of makeup). I'll share the photos of the models and the tips I gave soon. I wanted to be comfy but still dressy (by mixing sporty elements like the jacket and distressed jeans with classy heels and a statement necklace). I hope you enjoy your weekend..big hugs!!

Les escribo rapidito porque voy saliendo a una ciudad como a 4 horas de Miami para la boda de Steffy (de Steffy Pros and Cons). Esto lo utilicé la semana pasada después de un segmento en Univisión (por eso el maquillaje un poco distinto). Luego compartiré fotos y les diré los consejos que di allí.  Quería estar cómoda pero igual como más arregladita, por eso combiné elementos más deportivos (como la chaqueta llamativa y los jeans rotos) con unos más elegantes (el collar y los zapatos nude). Espero que estén disfrutan su fin de semana ...y les mando a todos un abrazo inmenso (especialmente a mis queridos venezolanos, sigan luchando con todo! BESOS)

No puedo creer que ya estamos a finales de Noviembre...las buenas noticias: se acercan el día de Acción de Gracias, Black Friday, y las fiestas decembrinas. Probablemente compartiré con ustedes diferentes looks para diferentes fiestas de esta época. Hoy me uno a Lookbook y a 2b Bebe para mostrarles un outfit perfecto para las reuniones más casuales de estas fechas... y lo mejor de todo es que 2b Bebe va a tener unas rebajas increíbles en Black Friday (¿pueden creer que este top y pantalón van a costar solo $20). ¿Ya están listas para las fiestas decembrinas?¡Díganme ocasiones/fiestas que tengan para hacer outfits y darles ideas! I feel like 2013 is going by as fast as 2012... I still can't believe we are already in February. And since February brings this aura of romanticism and love... here's a Valentine's Day look I did for a collaboration with Bebe. If I'm completely honest, I feel like this date was created by society to sell more chocolates/flowers... and to make every single restaurant full. I believe that every day should be Valentine's Day... don't wait for a specific date to bring flowers to your love one. Go out for dinner when you feel like it... not because it's Valentine's Day. So basically this look will work for any romantic dinner or date; the lace dress is very feminine and delicate, and the red touches (lips, nailpolish, and shoes) make even more romantic. Creo que el 2013 va a pasar igual de rápido que el 2012... no puedo creer que estamos en febrero! Y febrero suele asociarse con el Día de San Valentín, así que hoy les traigo una pequeña colaboración que hice con Bebe para esta fecha. Aunque considero que el Día de San Valentín fue creado por el dueño de una fábrica de chocolates/flores para vender más- también creo que todos los días deberían ser Días del Amor y de la Amistad. No esperen a que sea 14 de febrero para darle un regalo/flores/chocolates/abrazo a alguien, hazlo porque te salga del corazón y no porque la "sociedad" dice que hay que hacerlo. Así que este look es más una idea de lo que puedes usar en cualquier cita romántica... sin importar la fecha. Los vestidos de encaje siempre son delicados y femeninos- para hacerlo más romántico aún, agregué pequeños detalles en rojos (labial, pintura de uñas, y zapatos). Pueden ver lo que utilizaron el resto de las blogueras en esta colaboración con Bebe, pasa por aquí. I always get a lot of emails about what to wear to special occasions like weddings... so here's an option. First of all, I'm IN LOVE with this dress.. I don't even know what part is my favorite: the detail on the top part, the sheer skirt, the slits, or the movement *sigh** I wanted the dress to speak for itself and I let it be the main piece, I barely added accessories....just the coolest snake bracelet I've ever seen and a simple gold ring. Finally, I wanted to wear my hair down but since I always wear it down... I added a little braid/headband. I hope you like this look for special occasions! XOXO

Siempre me llegan muchos emails preguntándome sobre que utilizar en bodas y ocasiones más formales... así que hoy les traigo una opción. Primero que nada estoy enamorada de este vestido: entre el corte, el color, el detalle de la parte de arriba, la transparencia de la falda... todo *suspiro*!! Para dejar que el vestido hablese por si mismo, lo combiné con accesorios extremadamente sencillos: primero un anillo sencillo dorado y una pulsera en forma de culebra que me encantó- nunca había visto ninguna igual. Finalmente quería llevar el cabello suelto, pero como siempre lo llevo suelto quise darle un toquecito diferente con una diadema hecha con mi propio cabello. Espero que les haya gustado esta idea más elegante.. y díganme si el vestido no es un sueño!! Abrazos inmensos!

After a couple of days of crazy wind and a little bit of rain because of Hurricane Sandy (nothing like the affected areas right now... hope all of you are safe!), we are enjoying perfect weather....not a cloud in the sky and lower temperatures that are finally fall-wardrobe appropriate. So I took out this fun snakeskin print blazer, which is more like a jacket...it's really warm. I have to admit I was inspired by one of the main characters from Pretty Little Liars who wore it with a blue top- I ended up adding my favorite hat, which apparently needs a rest, to give the look a casual/relaxed vibe...it was looking too polished without it. Since the blazer is the main focus, I kept it very simple when it comes to accessories...just a classic watch and a nail-head bracelet. I wore this on Sunday to have sushi with my parents and they to walk around the bay with Gabo- definitely loving this weather! Thanks for stopping by! XOXO

Después que el huracán "Sandy" pasara levemente por Miami (Un abrazo grande a todas las personas que esten en zonas afectas, tengan mucho cuidado!), nos dejó con un clima espectacular sin una nube en el cielo y una temperatura finalmente otoñal. Así que quise sacar este blazer, que más que un blazer es como una chaqueta porque es peludita por dentro- tomé inspiración de como la utilizó una de las protagonistas del show Pretty Little Liars con una camisa azul- el look originalmente se veía muy formal así que terminé agregando este sombrero, que se que no me lo quito ultimamente, para darle un toque más casual y relajado. Como el blazer es tan llamativo, no quise recargarlo con accessorios- apenas una pulsera que parece un clavo doblado y un reloj sencillo. Esto lo utilicé el domingo para ir a comer sushi con mis papás y luego estuvimos caminando por la bahía aprovechando este clima tan perfecto. ¡Gracias por pasar por el blog! ¡Abrazos!
